   We are not coffee drinkers, but needed to have something on hand for visitors who MUST have coffee first thing in the morning. I liked this because of the ease in making coffee, no electronics to go south, and because reviewers talked about how good coffee tastes with this dripper. Any worries I had about it were dispelled after my guests assured me that it makes great coffee. They are both talking about getting one of their own now. Oh, and the most important parts for me: incredibly easy to clean and all the parts fit into a small box; making it easy to store until our next visitors arrive.

   Revised review (see below for first review):
   I was not pleased with the performance of this Coffee Dripper and wrote so in my review… the company contacted me to suggest how I might clean it properly to increase the drip-through-flow… I was very pleased for the customer service. When I said that I didn’t have a washing machine to use, they suggested another option. Works better again. I’ll keep working at it to keep this very clean immediately after use. So, I’ve adjusted my stars up to 5 stars – customer service is excellent and reliable!

   I’ve been using it for a while now… bought it to save on paper being recycled… now I wish I had not bought this. So slow to drip, taste not much of a difference that I notice, sometimes water just stays in there & doesn’t drip so I stand there stirring or just throw it away. Looks nice though.

   This makes good coffee and seems more durable than my last pour over. But the filter sits loosely on the top rather than a snug consistent fit. That’s fine, but I stopped using it because the filter is so fine that it takes twice as long to make a cup of coffee as my other filter.

   This is a nice looking coffee maker. I ordered the blue one. However I did send it back because of the quality. After washing it I tried to run straight water through the filter. The water never drained completely, leaving about 1 inch of water at the bottom. Also the handle felt very cheap like the plastic would break within a few weeks of normal use. I would not recommend this product simply because of the quality of the handle. It’s too flimsy.

   It worked beautifully for a few days, then the coffee started flowing slower and slower, and after a week it barely worked at all. I rinsed the filter, scrubbed it, nothing worked.

   I’ve done lots of research on these before buying one. I’ve owned the Osaka for almost two years. I use it every day to make coffee. It has never clogged on me or failed to deliver a great cup of coffee. I think most people mess these up by using store bought ground coffee. You HAVE to use a semi-coarse grind for a pour over to work. I set my bur grinder to medium coarse which is not as coarse as a French Press and not as fine as regular ground coffee. The Osaka is all I will ever use. I just bought a new one to keep in my camping trailer. It has never broke on me and I simply wash it off in the sink after each use. I might have put it in the dishwasher 3 times in two years. Never had any problems with it. Also, I’ve never used the decanter…..I always brew directly into a coffee cup or yetti.

   I was ready to return to a pour over coffee maker and this looked promising. Somehow, I didn’t notice how tiny it was (It says 4 cups but only holds 3 8oz. cups of water. Actually that is about right for me so I decided to try it. The mesh strainer is sturdier than many, the pot washes out with just a rinse of hot water, no sediment…very good coffee taste once you get the coffee/water calibrations right. I smile every morning when I see the dollhouse size..so that is a 5 star response! I think they need to be clearer in their description that this is not a full 8 oz cup measurement and the 4 cup marker on the side is not for 4 8 oz cups….otherwise, it’s great..
