   My hubby loves coffee, black, so he gets the true flavor. This glass set comes with everything, including the stirring spoon. It’s just a few steps to use: put in ground coffee in the top, pour in boiling water, and stir. The stirring part is a little bit of a pain. If you don’t stir throughout the process, then it gets clogged and doesn’t drip. It does taste better (according to hubby), but for me it’s too much work. I recommend this for the coffee purist.

   This coffee maker is beautiful to look at, however much to much work involved to get a good cup. Coffee grind is critical, if its too fine you get a cup of sediment, too coarse you get weak coffee after a lot of stirring to allow the water to seep through.

   Yea this one is a no for me.

   I was worried this might not make a good cup of coffee and it definitely did. I grind my coffee a bit coarse for a drip system, and that grind worked well for this too. Only one of the holes was plugged and no more of the fines came through here than with my reusable filter on my regular drip coffee maker system. This made several cups of smooth pour-over coffee without a problem. I used it about four times now and it’s easy to wash it out and use. Pour-over coffee requires a little patience, but this didn’t test mine as it just worked as it should. I plan to try this with a filter to see if there’s any difference (for better or worse) in the quality of the coffee. Pros: Simple instructions for those unfamiliar with the process Easy to use Easy to clean Well made (no sharp edges, no defective pieces, etc.) Cons: None yet

   Pretty simple to use. No difficult parts to clean (dishwasher safe too). Makes good coffee! Nice to not have to use disposable filters. You preferably want a kettle to get boiling water in the top. I’ve only used it with pre-ground coffee, so YMMV on whether any grounds make it through, but I didn’t have any problems so far. Just make sure it’s not too finely ground. If I had to complain about anything, the different glass pieces feel like they fit together a little loosely, but not a big deal. They seem to be able to handle hot water okay. Cost might be a little high at $100, but otherwise seems like a good quality product.

   Auf Instagram wurde dieses Produkt geworben und ich dachte mir, dass der eigentlich in meiner Küche ganz gut und schick aussehen könnte. Es sieht sehr ästhetisch aus, keine Frage. Allerdings sind die Löcher Etwas zu groß, so dass fast gefühlt die Hälfte vom Kaffee auch wieder unten landet. Das sollte eigentlich nicht so sein. Natürlich könnte man auch ein Papierfilter kaufen und den damit benutzen, aber dann ist der ganze Sinn von der Nachhaltigkeit Verloren. Finde ich sehr schade für so einen hohen Preis. Da kann man auch gleich ein paar Euros mehr obendrauf tun und sich eine Kaffeemaschine holen. Ein weiterer Minuspunkt: bis der Kaffee gebrüht ist und irgendwann unten landet, ist es schon echt wieder kalt…

   Pros:
   Very nice design.
   Very nice quality.
   Easy to use.

   Cons:
   Not specific to this item, but all brewing kits require a good amount of cleaning to keep it in good shape.

   Other thoughts:
   I am not picky when it comes to Coffee, but this set does a good job. Perfect as a secondary machine on our weekend house.

    I had high hopes for this coffee maker. The photos and blurbs about using glass instead of paper coffee filters looked promising. The packaging is beautiful and the glass components and ceramic bases are solid and good looking. I followed the directions to the letter (grinding beans to “medium” using my burr grinder)and the result was a cup of coffee with at least a 1/4 teaspoon full of coffee grounds. (See photo). The holes in the glass filter are far too big and let way too many grounds pass through. I won’t be using this again.

    Well packaged and arrived without any damages or scratches. I drink coffee everyday and I have drip coffee machine, hand drip kit and espresso machine. I thought this Glass Pour Over Coffee Maker Kit is very unique way of making coffee. I like the fact it does not require the paper/disposable filters. Also, they look very nice and modern for my kitchen. It was easy set up. Per their instructions, I grinded my coffee to fine particles. After pouring the hot water, Coffee drips about 5-7 minutes. The coffee taste very smooth. Easy to wash. I removed one star cause when I drink coffee there is a bit of residue of coffee grounds at the bottom.

    I was really worried that this setup would cause a lot of grounds in my coffee, and you can see that some grounds do get in the lower part. I did end up shaking those out before I poured the hot water in. I just used the glass pourover without a paper filter. I heated water in my gooseneck kettle and followed the directions on the included card. I ground my coffee using the pourover setting on my grinder and that seemed to be just about perfect. The coffee came out very nice and smooth! I didn’t notice any grounds in my cup. This is definitely a luxury item at this cost but it would make a great gift for a coffee lover!
