   Oh wow! As I unpacked my brand new Bun, I was talking to my incarcerated son on the phone. I just cut right through the tag that was on the electrical cord and plugged it in. First thing. As we were chatting, I smelt that dreaded smell of plastic burning. I went and unplugged it and thought to myself, it’s ruined! I’ve ruined my brand new coffee pot. So I waited a couple of hours filtered water in. Said a prayer or two because I would definitely have been a bad steward of my money If I had ruined my coffee pot. But I woke up the next morning and it actually worked! Best tasting coffee ever! I’m telling you, absolutely no bitter taste. Finest cup of coffee I’ve had since the last time I had a Bun cup of coffee at my son’s house! I’m so happy with my Bun!!

   Coffee machine & it performed flawlessly!
   This is a Bunn machine (Bunn made the same machine for Tim Hortons)),so I expect this machine to be equal or better! So far so good!
   One main feature is “Bunn employs a WATER DISPLACEMENT SYSTEM which gives you instant hot water to brew your coffee!
   It also has a 3 Year Warranty!

   This is the 3rd Bunn I have bought in 30 years. The Old one started leaking Water. It makes Coffee Quick, Not a lot of Fancy add ons, Just Coffee in 4 minutes. or HOT water for your Tea. Kind of a Weird Carafe compared to the former model, a little hard to empty Completely.

   The coffee maker has seeped/leaked water every time we brew. As soon as you close the lid, it begins seeping out of the top tank. I thought my husband and kids might be overfilling the machine, but this happened even when I brewed four cup pots. Called Bunn and the rep said they do not make defective or poorly designed products. Our Bunn Classic lasted 10 years. The Select was defective Day 1. Junk! Defective design, horrible customer service.

    about 5.5 years our other Bunn finally started leaking. Needed another one as it makes coffee so quickly, can’t go back to a regular coffee maker now. Easy to set up, follow instructions carefully and you are good to make coffee. Bought the Bunn filters as well, a must if you have the machine.

    Design is terrible, speed brew takes 15 – 20 minutes unless you want to keep it plugged in 24/7, reservoir holds 10 cups, anything over that you pour in, is your coffee, reservoir always holds 10 cups. The brew switch is the white thing when you close the lid, when you brew in the morning you have to pour your coffee in and then close the lid to start brewing, if you do not keep it plugged in heating water all night you have to leave the lid open for 15 – 20 min. There are 2 switches, one to turn the water heater on and the other is the carafe warmer. The thing leaks no matter what you put into it, the warmer has an open slot around it, if you spill anything it goes into the machine. When you think it is finished brewing it drips everywhere. The design of this thing is horrible, complete failure.
