   My husband is very fussy about his coffee. We have had numerous coffee makers from ones that grind the beans to ones that use regular grind. The biggest thing is that the coffee needs to not only taste good, have no residue, and that it keeps warm in a carafe. this coffee maker is well-made and I like the fact that I can order it in various color choices. It is very easy to use and to clean sometimes the ones that are more basic are the best but still my husband is not 100% satisfied. I think the biggest thing is the value and the amount of money we spent he feels does not justify what we got as a product. The coffee stays hot a bit longer. The carafe is very thin, and it will only be a matter of time where it will break. This has been an issue with carafes and this one is even more delicate. We have decided to keep it and not go through the trouble returning it just to try to find one that would be perfect by his standards. I chose this coffee maker based on reviews. You’ll be the judge.

   Arrived quickly, carefully packed, and in excellent condition. I’m replacing my trusty Cuisinart drip brewer with the Moccamaster and I have to say (and the Cusinart made some fine coffee) this system really brings the flavor out and it is noticeably better than a traditional drip machine. Acutally it’s not even a competition- it’s just flat out the best coffee I’ve made with a machine. I like whole bean Kona coffee which is pricey so I feel l like I’m really getting all the complex taste even using a little less coffee to do so. Expensive but worth it.

   I got the turquoise version, although I may change the review in the future, I’m in love with it.. it’s so beautiful and simplistic, didn’t weigh much at all. Brews so fast also! The coffee is delicious and I’m glad I have tons of the right size filters already.

   Very disappointed by materials used in manufacturing. Coffee maker is made of thin metal and plastic parts. Carafe is thin glass. Lid on water reservoir does not fit on easily. Love the color but not enough to keep this low quality and expensive coffee maker.

   This coffee machine is simple and gorgeous. I’m not mad at the chinky plastic bits, because the rest of the unit feels very well made (also, this is the kind of machine that can be modded). Highly recommend this coffee maker.

   I finally replaced my old Techni Vorm and I’m glad I did. They have made several improvements. First the arm that sprays the water into the coffee has been redesigned to more evenly distribute the water. Second the plug is now 3 prong. Third, the carafe which looks the same, seems to pour more easily without dripping. The coffee is smooth and not at all bitter. Finally, I love the color.

   Love this coffee maker, it’s everything advertised. It did arrive damaged – and exactly as another reviewer noted. Waiting for a replacement. Unlike Tracey’s experience, the Mfr deferred customer service to coffeemakers.us.com after I registered the product and followed their instructions “not to return” but to contact them directly.. We tried. Guess we’ll see what happens. If we hadn’t paid so much for a drip coffee maker, lol – we probably would just live with the chip and the scratched water reservoir (not pictured) – and/or refinish it ourselves, but not letting this one go. We’ll update the review when coffeemakers.us.com/Distributor makes good on a replacement. UPDATE: Never bothered with cont’d complaints about replacement.. decided to keep it with the chipped burner.. I’d rather not think about it ending up in a landfill. On the whole – absolutely cool coffee maker and don’t regret the purchase. It makes us smile all the time – its super quick and efficient, looks amazing and it’s so easy to clean etc.. Wonderfully minimalist and simple.
