They do not honor 5 year warranty. Short story - purchased 18months ago, although we closely followed all instructions for care and cleaning (we take our coffee seriously), we noticed that green mold had developed all over the machine- after 2 hours of cleaning it was clear that the mold was originating from inside the machine. Contacted warranty support, after explaining the issue, requesting help, speaking with 2 people see response from Courtney the Customer Support Manager: “the photos you've provided, the discoloration on your Float Switch appears to be normal organic material present in the content of your water (even filtered or bottled water).” They haven’t responded to my follow on emails. Pictures are of the remaining mold - after 2 hours using descaler, then cleaning powder then vinegar $350 dollars for unusable machine awesome

I got it for $136 on prime day. Had it been more expensive I’d likely return. The machine works well but the output has quirks. 1. You must pour the output into a secondary cup before drinking if using the milk function. Although this doesn’t seem to impact the quality it feels wrong. 2. The macchiato setting makes a true cappuccino whereas the cappuccino setting is more so like a latte. Though weird I give it 5 stars bc it’s unlikely to find a better milk frother than this one even if it does require pouring.

Bought this in April but didn’t technically start using it until mid June. Everything was great until today. The display started to fade on one side of the screen. I turned off and turned it on and now there is red, blue, green lines and no display.

I've been using this coffee maker for 5 months. I'm quite disappointed because it isn't what I expected. I used 2 different brands of coffee beans and it still not good. My complaints: 1. I use the lightest roast beans with light strength setting. The coffee is still way too strong. I have to use 12oz setting with my 16oz cup and add hot water after that to dilute. I wish it could be reprogrammed to use amount of beans for 12oz but water for 16oz. 2. It's very messy. I read reviews before buying and now can confirm that it's true. I have to clean it thoroughly after 8 cups. 3. 16oz cup doesn't fit in the middle foldable holder but too small to have it on the bottom because it spills all over. I had to use a plastic food container to move the cup closer to the spout (will attach picture later) The 2nd and 3rd complaints aren't big deal actually. However, the first one is the biggest problem for me. Why couldn't they have a lighter strength setting? I don't understand it. Many people prefer less spices in their food, less sugar and salt, less juice in their drinks and so on. Of course there are people who like very light strength coffee. It wouldn't be complicated for the manufacturer to make minor changes in the settings. Now I have to struggle making coffee in the morning. I think I'll have to come up with another approach. Like having beans container empty and just adding a tablespoon of beans before each roast, using 16oz setting, and cover that "empty beans container" sensor inside. That's to much hassle but at least I don't have to heat up water in a kettle every time. I will attach additional pictures and videos later.

  • Really cool concept. Too bad I was never able to use it. After 3 attempts to receive one that was not full of broken glass, I have decided to move on to something else.

  • Just fill the mug with water pour it in the machine have ground coffee or kcups ready push 1 button and in couple minutes you hve nice hot coffee makes life much easier love it!

It’s the right size for my fridge. And the instruction does say to wait over night for coffee. I just made it last night. I do believe you should wait the full 24 hours. Cause mine came out slightly watery but that has nothing to do with the brewer. Since its my new brewer so I’ll take my time making the right ratio to water cause that is why its watery. So write down your notes and conduct your experiment on the type of beans you are using. I am a coffee snob so for me this is excellent for me to try to see what coffee beans may be the best for ice coffee. But the flavor is there. This method of brewing is not bitter at all. I love this little brewer cause it’s just the right size for me. I was a bit disappointed its not a glass. But I know it’s going to be durable. I love making hot coffee too I have a hario V60 when I feel like changing up my taste. And I love my moka pot. So I like to experiment with different brewers.

  • Update! 3 to 2 stars POS This newer keurig unit works half the time. Sometimes it will work without any errors for a few weeks. Error code 11 will pop up from time to time. Or Add Water even if the reservoir is full. I typically uplug it and leave unplugged for 5 mins and start again to reset it. Even powering it off by holding the center K button doesn’t really reset it. Overall ok unit but can make you angry.

  • The quality is out of this world.

The box was all messed up when it was delivered to me and I opened it just bubble wrapped not secured the item. The plastic part was so cheap and didn’t look good.

  • Product box was wet, product had coffee stains on it and used coffee pod still in the machine. Wondering why it was returned the first time and why someone returned with coffee still in it.

  • *pictures currently have coffee in the press, oops!* My boyfriend and I prefer french press over any other form of making coffee and find that this product is a great fit! The flavor is great and is relatively easy to clean since you can unscrew the mesh from the base to soak. The only thing is, the last little bit of coffee tends to have quite a bit of grounds in it- but I think that goes for any press (we use Bustelo so its relatively fine already). Would recommend this product to anyone willing to switch to french pressed coffee!

  • We have been brewing our coffee for several years with the black Hamilton Beach FlexBrew in the picture. It still works perfectly! I saw the red one in the Web site, and my wife loves RED appliances. So we now have two! I use ground coffee, and wife likes caramel pods. The old brewer made excellent coffee both ways, and was easy to use and keep clean. The new? Same results, plus it has a setting for bold brew. It really works! I use a bit less coffee grounds, and the flavor is wonderful. The old black brewer has been cleaned and is there standing by. Wife likes the red, so much that we now have a red Hamilton Beach can opener too.

  • Well built, quality little machine that is perfect for coffee (before coffee), or as just the thing for kids to make cocoa. Also really looking forward to some iced coffee when the weather warms up a bit. The pieces all fit together well, and this is quite a good value compared to purchasing a "big box store name brand" since this functions every bit as well for K-cups. All of the pieces are super easy to take apart and put back together so that break down and clean up is a snap. It brews very quickly, so maybe a bit over a minute for a 10oz cup and you can fix a cup on demand or even just start the morning while your regular coffee is brewing. It comes with its own magnetic K-cup holder so the whole package takes up very little space on the counter, and it holds quite a bit of water so you don't have to refill the reservoir after one or two small cups. As stated the water pushes through quite quickly, so while it is a nice thought providing a net mesh for trying to use your own coffee grounds it probably won't work out well due to the speed of the brewing and the limited water flow area (that works so well with the little cups with two little holes punched in them). Also good to remember that the bigger the cup (16oz vs 10oz), the weaker the flavor. All in all this is a super nice machine though, and exactly what I was hoping for.

If it is just you two or you're single, then this will be perfect. Note size in photos in relationship to a banana. You will need small coffee filters. They are not included.
