We love this coffee machine. Ee have had no problems with ot at all. We like the sleek slim design. It fits very well in the corner of our bathroom vanity. Now we can enjoy coffee in our sleeping quarters again. We have a large nathroom and master bedroom suite. And really enjoy having a cup of coffee whenever we please. It/ours accepts all pods even the ones that have the foil on top and the baggy underneath. We did purchase a tall thermos for every day use with the machine since it does tend to splash. But it actually made the machine look even more sleek. This does not have a water reservoir for more than one cup. What you pour into the machine is what it brews in one shot. And yes... You can immediately brew another cup after the previous one is done. Just pour in water and push brew once again. It will blink when it brews/starts. Light will always be on. My old machine always needed a cool down time and most of the time refused to brew another. We would probably get this brand again for downstairs in the kitchen... But I would prefer for that one a reservoir. My only con: it is hard to read how many ounces of water you pour into it. But I just use a measuring cup for that. (It still deserved 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟) due to its price and what you get for that price. Extra pro: I would even take it with me to hotels. Beats paying a lot for a regular cup of coffee and having to wait in line and walk it back to the room. We used to have a mr. Coffee with a water reservoir. But it would not always give us the requested ounces. And the reservoir leaked. At a certain point...(we have had it though for 3 years) it just stopped working in total.
If you think you’re getting copper, think again. This is a poorly made hollow plastic press. No st all like the previous one I ordered from this same company 5 years ago. The copper top is cheap, this plastic, the handle is hollow plastic, the he glass is not tempered. The first time I cleaned it and plunged the cheap plastic plunger into the unit it would not come back out, it lifted the cheap glass out of the cheap plastic ‘copper’ casing and the plastic plunger bent and nearly broke. The advertisement states it is stainless steel but it is not. Quote the claim by the seller “The frame and lid is made from durable stainless steel that’s undergone several chrome-plating processes to result in a durable, shiny surface capable of withstanding many years of use, Stainless steel plunger prevents ground beans escaping when the coffee is poured”
Very easy to use, you do need to pay attention and watch and listen. Don't recommend setting timer and walking away. It roasts well, even, and easy to watch. Super easy to clean. With the different temps, you have good options.
Seven decades of coffee roasting, grinding and brewing experience all over the world with all manner of coffee pots and preparations. Bought SimpliPress to save cleanup water while camping/RVing. Fail. No suction to pull grounds basket from the empty pot. Just a mess. Last year's reviews were mostly stellar. Maybe I got a bad unit? Too few moving parts to be operator error (I looked there first). Caffeinated Buzzkill is a bad way to start the day. YMMV.
Very nice and affordable Coffee machine. It is very easy to use and clean. Compact but it will do the job for a small family. I love that it has a washable filter. I was using expense machines that required specific expensive pods, but now I can get any coffee grind I like. My son will order one for his dorm room in college.
I’m not a crazy coffee drinker. I actually just started drinking coffee but let me tell you, this coffee is great for beginners and those who are coffee lovers. It’s such a great coffee machine and pours such great quality coffee. You can just taste the richness of it. I definitely recommend.
It does work properly and heats up in about 5-6 minutes but it's small and you will probably get three sips out of it before you need to do another one. You also need to carry am extra cup if you have a traveling partner since it only comes with one. But overall it works great for camping, traveling etc..
There is something seriously wrong about this model. Bought one and it failed due to a leak, causing short circuit. Recently bought the second one. And after two days of use, the second one is constantly produces a loud sound as soon as it’s on. Disappointing. Don’t recommend this machine.
I waited a few months before doing this review… It’s very reliable so far and I love all the features on it. The cleaning notification is great and the ability to make the coffee strong even in program mode. Also, the light is bright enough. It kind of makes a nice nightlight for the kitchen :)
The design of this coffee machine is ideal for small spaces, apartments, and dorm rooms. It's very easy to use and compatible will pods or scoops of coffee. Makes a great cup of coffee and is very easy to use.
I love coffee and this was a simple way to make my morning perfect. Easy to put together and the froth maker is the best thing to have for a coffee bar. Love can use for k-cups and ground coffee and the cup size. Absolutely enjoy adding this coffee machine to my kitchen. Perfect cup of coffee.
I first ordered one of these in 2014, and have made a batch of cold brew every two or three days since then. I'm the only coffee drinker in my household, and this is an excellent solution for always having really good coffee on hand, and never wasting any. I typically drink it black and chilled, but will occasionally heat up a cup if it's cold outside. Cold brewing is great, and I know I'll never go back to a standard coffee pot or a single serve machine. But on to the real purpose of my review - I ordered another one to give to my mother for Christmas, and I am so impressed with the new packaging and the slight change in design! I vaguely remember receiving mine with no instructions or even a box for the product, it was just loose in the coffeemakers.us.com shipping box. I did a decent amount of googling, reading reviews and blog posts, and then just experimenting with grind volume and extraction time until I landed on what I like. This second one came in a Hario box, with specific instructions, and the base of the filter can twist off, so removing the used grinds is likely easier (I always struggle to shake the last bit out of the original, and resort to scraping it out with a spoon, getting another thing dirty that now needs to be cleaned). These might seem like tiny tiny details - but I am thrilled to give it to my mom in a proper box to wrap up for Christmas, and with clear, written instructions on how to use it. Thanks Hario and coffeemakers.us.com!
The poorly designed plastic handle broke off and I almost spilled boiling coffee all over my body. I got lucky and landed in the sink. Otherwise I would have been severely burned. This product should be recalled.
Love this Brew Station. It is replacing one I had just like it for years. Easy to use. If you drink coffee all day like I do, this is the way to go!
My purchase just over 2 years ago was redirected here, though mine is clearly an older version (pictured). This will be my 2nd Mr. Coffee in a row where the final point of failure rendering the machine useless is the power switch. Apparently Mr. Coffee is struggling with this hundred year old technology. They might have fixed it with this new version, but if they struggle this much with something as simple as a power switch, I don't trust that they really fixed it. 2 years is a pathetic lifespan even for a recent appliance. Time to move on from this once respected brand.
