What I like? Programmable, nice that coffee is ready when I go to kitchen in the morning. The strong brew setting really makes a difference. What do I not like? I think this is an issue with all these types of carafes, they spill easily when pouring! Need to rethink that design! Should not matter how fast or how slow, I pour a cup of coffee, it should not end up, dripping down the side of the carafe and onto the counter. The only other thing that is awkward, is reaching the water reservoir to fill it. Would be nice if it had a pop out, side door, instead of having to go through the brew mechanism.
This is my favorite single cup coffee maker! I like that it can accommodate large 20oz mugs no problem, and you really can’t go wrong with the price. Also, the flavor is far above what a Keurig can make. This is my 3rd time ordering this exact product. One coffee maker lasts about 1.5-2 years with daily use. I recommend using filtered water to prolong the product’s life.
What sets this coffee dripper apart was the jewel shape it has. Most drippers i’ve seen are round but i’ve really enjoyed this one. Easy to clean and use!
Not sure what I’m doing wrong but it keeps backing up. Only used 3 times. Has happened the last two time. Cleaned it out thoroughly each time. Returning unless I figure this out
Works great hot coffee
Dual layer filter great in concept, poor in execution. Inner mesh separates from outer metal filter. No way to fix. And no replacement filter available. Lasted almost one year - so better than most other reviewers, Now have to purchase entirely new unit now, just to get the filter. Really, @Corsari??? 🤨
1st off, cold steeped coffee is wonderfully flavorful and velvety smooth!... and, despite what i will explain below, this item is responsible for re-introducing us to the luscious experience of cold-brewed coffee… and, we are thankful… ...now, with less ado, the review; a great cold-brew can be achieved, without this system, by putting finely ground coffee with h2o in a large mason jar, place in fridge for 24-36 hrs (shaking several times, periodically, throughout), and then filtering over a pour-over filter/carafe system... ...this is, effectively, what you must do with this maker, as it's filter cage does not contain the grounds, even when ground very coarse… by comparison, this filter cage releases considerably more grounds than with an economy french press... ...as such, if you purchase this, know that you will most likely need to filter the product after... again, even with a coarse ground. so why use your time & energy placing grounds in the product's filter cage to begin with, when post-steep filtering will be necessary? ... ...well, as such, we felt that is is inefficient to even put the grounds in the ground's cage... plus, you have to empty and clean the cage! ... so, we discarded the filter cage and just use the carafe, with it's handle, sealed top, and pour spout, as our cold-brew sealed container; we pour in our finely ground beans, top it off with h2o, seal the top, shake vigorously, place it in the frig for 24-36 hours (shaking periodically, as often as able), then pour it over our simple, standard pour-over filter & carafe system...and, viola!, you have a full carafe of filtered, wonderful, full-bodied, cold-steeped coffee... drink it cold or heat in your mug for a regular hot cup-o-joe, but a tasty, smooth, velvety one! here is a simple, lang-lasting pour over system, for filtering your cold-brew; Melitta Coffee Maker, 6 Cup Pour-Over Brewer with Glass Carafe, 1-Count and, these are get brown (unbleached) filters; Melitta Cone Coffee Filters, Natural Brown, No. 6, 40-Count Filters (Pack of 12) furthermore, we also use a tall glass mason jar, so we are cycling through a 2-jar system; one steeping for 24-36 hours, while the other has completed the cold steeping cycle time and is ready for filtering… basically, just putting a new one in each evening ... it really works great! especially knowing every day is a cold-steeped day! :-) | note: tall glass mason jars are great; for the large volume, the sealed lid, and the small diameter mouth making pouring easier…and, likely better than plastic, as the glass and metal lid prevent any permeation of odors | | bottom line & summary | skip this product, due to the filter cage releasing such an excess of grounds into it's finished product, even when ground coarse, and just use any large sealed container (like a tall glass mason jar, pic attached); place in grounds, top off with h2o, shake vigorously, place in frig, continue to shake periodically for 24-36 hours, and then pour over your filter system… it is just "that" easy and, again, negates the need for this coffee system with its filter cage… lastly and again, if you would like a full carafe of cold-brewed coffee every day, then do the 2-jar method, so you will always be cycling two(2) through your refrigerator; one always ready to filter and the other still in the steeping process to be ready for the next day! :-) it works! enjoy! ☕️ Thank you.
I needed an inexpensive coffee pot. Pleasantly surprised at this little gem! With cheaper makers it’s usually a trade off of carafe quality and ergonomics. This has both! Very easy to pour in water with the swinging arm. Move it back out of the way to add filter/coffee. The basket is snugly held down with the arm so no loose feel of the carafe lid against the basket unless the lid is down. This and the fact the carafe “lid” was set far enough back from the pour spout that they were no dribbles of water when filling maker or of coffee when pouring a cup! My personal reasons for 5 stars. Pros: carafe does not dribble from the lid/spout Movable water arm to access water trough and coffee grinds basket Water trough “full” hole is higher than a full carafe of water poured in Large and easy to program display Water level indicator is easy to view No chemical smell - ran two pots of vinegar through before first brew Cons: short cord as with all makers I’ve had Display is not backlit for nighttime visibility the only real downside but not a dealbreaker for me
After 3 days...used it twice. Quit working. Another epic fail as many models of Kuerig do. No more quality. Read all the reviews before buying this one. Cheap quality and called Kuerig no help at all.
I’ve had this for less than a year and it’s cracked. The crack bulges upward so I think it’s from the pressure. It hasn’t affected the performance. I still use it daily. I’m happy with the coffee it makes.
One of the internal tubes is leaking water. The machine no longer functions after 3 months.
I ordered a new coffee machine and received this dirty nasty one. This was a Christmas gift to my daughter... I'm so embarrassed.
I had a keurig for years and one day it just decided to stop making coffee so I ordered this little coffee maker. It’s so aesthetically pleasing and small for better space for all my teas and things (kuerig took up like 1/3 of that counter top), not to mention it’s almost the same color as my cabinets and at the price I can buy one for my gaming room too. Only thing that you have to do is watch it while it brews because it only has two settings, “ON” and “OFF”, so don’t burn your house down! I always watch my coffee brew anyway because I have to stare it down in anticipation of awakeness. Anyways~ I love this coffee maker and it’s also super easy to clean as you can see in the 3rd picture, that is post coffee made.
I really like this coffee maker so far. It’s like the features that you can make bolder coffee if you wish to. I also like the fact that you can adjust the temperature of the plate that the pot sits on. The only feature I don’t like is the pot. It has no hinge on the pot cover so on order to fill it you need to remove the lid. Other than that so far so good ☕️!!
