Love love my New French Press!
I am an over-the-road truck driver in this was a perfect solution to have real coffee without a bulky coffee pot or a high power draw Keurig. So far I've not been disappointed the coffee tastes great the unit cleans easily and it is exactly as expected.
Had only 3 months great coffee machine until I discovered white particles in coffee I’ve tried cleaning and it still looks like this picture does anyone know why?
It'd pretty but there are no directions on how to use it
So far I like my coffee maker the only problem is that I thought it would be a little bit more bluer. It looks like a mint color
Plastic pieces MELT! Why would such cheap plastic be on a product that get so hot?!?!??!
Maybe I got a defective machine? The temperature of all of the drinks produced was warm, I wouldn’t say hot. The double size latte barely makes 3-4 ounces. The Nespresso capsules never would make more than an ounce or two even when double shot espresso was selected (without using the steam frother functions), and water was left in the top of the capsule holder every time. I tried different flavors from 5 different boxes. When I tried several times using grounds instead, double lattes would barely make 4 ounces if that so I had to go through the process 2-3 times for each drink. I used grounds with light tamp pressure and I used medium tamp pressure so I don’t believe it’s my technique preventing the water from entering the bottom. Upon removing the bar handle each time, there was a mess of espresso that pours out on me and the counter instead of in the glass. Not like the photos nor icons on the machine. I wish it would make nice crema every time and that the lattes would make a full size drink with more dairy than the cappuccino. It’s definitely not like baristas make. I’m going to try another brand of espresso machine. I expected a loud process but my husband thought I was crazy for trying to brew with this particular one so many times. The espresso is bold but such a let down: messy, requires2-3 times the effort, wastes all ingredients except less creamer than desired, and it’s just plain warm. The only other plus is that it warms up quicker than a Keurig.
Bought this after our 12 year old Cuisinart kicked the bucket. We didn't need anything so high-end and nabbed this little Black-and-Decker when we saw it on sale after the holidays. BTW, total research nerds here--we probably looked at all the models you've looked at before coming to this review. And like you, we clicked on all the "1 star" reviews just to see what the fuss was about. So here you are and here we are spilling the beans (ha ha, dad joke). Folks, this machine is straight up the pits. Leaked everywhere, every single time, as you can see from the picture (and no, we don't add nutritional yeast to our coffee...the pandemic has made us loopy but not that loopy...yet). Not a big deal, because we figured that we'd call the company and work things out--it was less than 2 weeks after we'd bought it, after all. That was an adventure. The customer service is...weird. The representative lectured me about McDonald's and not buying domestic cars and railed on about how my state's elected officials were making decisions that hurt a lot of people. Ummm...I reminded him I was just there about a coffee machine, sir. Well, they didn't have any replacement models with a grinder but could send me one without a grinder (basically a much cheaper model, without refunding me the difference. Also...who can live without a grinder these days?). So I took door number two--the refund option. Holy heck. To get that refund you have to basically destroy the machine, send a bunch of emails and they will MAIL you a CHECK within 6-8 weeks. Like it's 1999, I guess??? Oh, and also boo hoo for your coffee because unless you are a superhero (I am not) you will obviously need to caffeinate yourself sometime before those 6-8 weeks are up. Time for this family to look for another Cuisinart I guess. And nope, I don't get any kickbacks from 'em (would be nice, though, if anyone from the company is reading this hellooo!). I just like a brand without any foolishness, like coffee should be.
So the product was delivered to my doorstep in a box with a picture of the product on the outside. A surprise. Then, when I opened the box I found no instructions for the product, another surprise. However, I let those pass. I hooked up and used the product. The K-Pod maker worked fine and the Carafe coffee drip worked fine as well. Yesterday however, I used the grinder for the first time and today as well, for a second time, just to make sure. Well, this product has a defect. The grinder is producing brewed coffee at a greater rate than can be dripped into the carafe. As a result, both times that I used it, brewed coffee spilled onto the heating plate causing the coffee to create a burnt smell and the bottom of the coffee pot to have stains from this outcome. The sound effect is as if the coffee pot is about to explode. If that is the case with all of this type of product, then the product itself needs to be removed from the shelf and returned to the product-design phase.
It is a small coffee maker and good fit for a person usage. And it is very easy to clean and light weight. It saved the space! However, it is not tall enough for different type of cups. Original cup was not good for hot drink and cause heavy plastic smell in the drink, so I don’t use it after tried three times. I finally decided to keep it since I searched many items even two to three times expensive of this one, boiler part is still make in plastic. Hmmm…… is there a one which is not made of plastic?
I was looking for a new coffee maker that would produce no waste and wasn't super messy and I think I found it! It was packaged fairly securely but was confused why they put everything in the bottom part of the glass versus on top of the filter. It took a a bit longer to get everything out. After a quick wash I ground some coffee and heated some water. The provided booklet shares how many scoops of ground coffee per 4oz cup, which I thought was very helpful. I like that the filter is stainless steel and has rubber around the top and a little handle. Video of making the coffee, provides opportunity to be intentional about making coffee -- not something if you want a quick cup. As other reviews say, I can't fit my hand all the way around the cork neck and because the container is glass it doesn't stay super warm. I have no problem being careful while handling it and warming up my second cup. The only thing so far I wish would be different would be if it had measurements on the side so you know how much water you're adding for the perfect cup. But I can see how that would take away from the simple esthetic.
Easy to clean, and easy to use... BUT THE DURIBITY WAS LOUSEY. It lasted 27 days before the handle pulled loose from the plunger stem, and no way to securely reconnect it. I've used a glass french press pot for over 40 years, and am still using it. I'll have to try another brand. Thanks coffeemakers.us.com for carrying so many choices.
Too delicate and thin glassed — ordered two at once and one came broken and the other cracked after the first time use just by washing it. Glass is way too thin and delicate and easy to break ...now I can’t return the second one.
El artículo llego quebrado.
