We got this coffee maker for a lake house. We’ve used it less than 20 times. We always hand wash it when we’re done. The glass cracked near the handle so it won’t hold liquid anymore. Frustrated as we really liked it!

  • Purchased 5/21 & used almost every day since. Easy to clean, durable, economical. I do not strain the coffee as others have mentioned- with a coarse grind setting on my coffee grinder, there is very little sediment. Lid handle cracked (as seen in the pic) but that has not affected the functionality (prob could be easily glued but I'm lazy so...:). Def recommend! Has saved me untold $ on coffee shop ice coffee purchases.

  • For a single cup Keurig-like coffee brewing experience, it's hard to beat Chulux. They make a wide range of reliable, easy to use, affordable coffee makers. This one is no different and has some improvements that enhance utility. Most obvious is the increased height and adjustable shelf to accommodate tall and short coffee mugs. My old Nissan Stainless insulated tumbler just fits in the tall position if I tilt it a little or remove the catch pan when inserting. A Hydro Flask coffee mug easily fits with room to spare in the elevated position. Note that the brewing capacity is 8 ounces to 12 ounces max, so virtually any container in this size range will fit. The wide opening top is also a big improvement. It allows for spill-free filling and lets you easily see what you are doing. Removing the included metal mesh water filter for cleaning is also a breeze. I normally use filtered water from a refrigerated pitcher when making coffee. Brewing time for the 12 ounce maximum cup size is 4 minutes. Brewing time will be shorter for an 8 ounce cup starting at tap water temperature. Other pluses are the small counter space footprint and easy single button operation. Fantastic.

  • My Keurig died (after 6 months of use) and I was in need of a new coffee pot but didn't want to go back to the expense of the kcups or short lived Keurig. After reading reviews and the option of brewing a full pot or single cup without kcups, I decided to get the Hamilton Beach model. As i was getting ready to boil water for my French press, I was excited to see the new coffee pot show up a day early. Yay no boiling water!! (I love my French press but it's tiring boiling water everyday.) I was then very disappointed to find deep scratches across the top, small dents around the warming plate and the blue protective film had been pulled off already leaving blue strings hanging out all over. The shipping and manufacturer boxes were both undamaged, which leaves the pot to either have been a display item or used by someone else. If I had paid for a used item, I would not have minded the scratches and such, but I paid full price for an unused coffee pot. Not cool at all. I have not tried using it yet, other than plugging it in to see if it turned on. It did. So I can not attest to the functionality of the coffee pot. Decideding if I want to send this one back and then have to wait a week (yes...it's a week wait now) for a replacement or go ahead and use this one and never buy Hamilton Beach again. I'll decide after I'm done boiling water... UPDATE: After being tired of boiling more water, I decided to not deal with the hassle or the return process and wait another week for a new coffee pot. First I ran clean water through both sides and it worked good. Water was clean, which leads me to believe this was a display model rather than a used. (Still not happy about this.) Both making a full pot of coffee and the single serve work great. Hope it will last a long a time.

I just brewed my first cup from this brewer....Tim Horton's Dark. It tasted so much better then the same coffee from my old 2.0 machine and it came out FASTER and so much quieter. Setup was a breeze (wifi connection was very simple) and it tells you to do a cleansing brew before using the machine. The K-Cafe recognized the kcup and suggested optimal settings (you need a wifi connection for this functionality). I was able to change strength and temp settings and of course I was able to choose the cup size. I have not yet made a Cappucino...that's next! 7/22 UPDATE: Cappucino with a double shot came out quite good...lots of froth in the milk and the double shot of the Barista Italian Roast kcup made for a delicious drink. The result was almost as good as the espresso machine I have! The water tank is so easy to use...it functions just like a pitcher. I also love that the included frother is powered by the K-Cafe (no separate outlet needed). Unlike other Keurig machines, the design of this machine is very attractive and extremely user-friendly.

  • Super easy to clean! Coffee stains and grounds just rinse completely off with just water which makes it great for travel. My coffee had no strange taste or odour and came out great. The downside? It’s painfully slow, especially if you want a large 16 oz coffee, but I’ve found this to be the case with every pour-over I’ve tried. This one came out the best because of it’s foldability and ease of cleaning.

I love this little coffee maker, it's so simple and that's exactly what I wanted. I was actually replacing my old little Mr. coffee but I wanted white this time. Not easy to find, so I love this one works great and looks beautiful.

Received this directly from Mr. Coffee as a replacement. Within a year the heater plate had totally rusted out and had to be trashed. Mr. Coffee refused to replace this. This could be a safety hazard if this rusts through. Do not buy this model!

For those reviews that are complaining about removing the basket, here's how: 1. Pop up the cover for the water fill. 2. Swing out the basket. 3. Wrap your left hand around the front and side of the basket. 4. Gently push up until the top part of the hinge pops up and the bottom part releases. 5. Angle the bottom part to the left and gently pull down. Two hands help here. 6. It should be out. Go dump the grounds and reinstall. To reinstall: 1. Angle the top of the basket to the right. 2. Fit in the top part of the hinge into the top hole. 3. Straighten up the bottom part of the basket. ***Tip*** Practice the next part a few times while awake! Not at 7 AM when running out the door to work! 4. Push the bottom part of the hinge down into the bottom hole. But you didn't get it at first? Keep trying, it will line up! Don't push the bottom too far back or too far to the right. Patience, grasshopper! This gets much easier with daily use. 5. Swing the basket closed. 6. Go brew a cup of coffee, you earned it! Rest of review: brews coffee, the carafe doesn't drip coffee during pouring, the clock seems accurate, and the delay brew function works once the clock is set.

  • I've never owned a cold brew system but I've been a fan of coffee for 20 years, and served a brief stint at Starbucks in my youth. The cool thing about this system is that you can always have some ready, and some brewing. RN they are asking Fitty bucks. Seems a bit high for me personally, but you do you. This system appears to be made to high quality standards, and there are no flaws detected. It's really simple. I'm sure the filter is the most expensive thing to pull off. As the only coffee drinker in my family this is a bit overkill. I can get 3-4 cups out of this bad boy... I suppose I'll just make a batch every week. But I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that a poor-mans cold brew system would be to just get a French press , use not-hot water, leave the plunger up and toss it in the fridge... Or mix some grinds and water in a jar with a lid, toss it in the fridge, then use your French press when you are ready to drink it. Tada. Let's not overthink this. But hey, this will definitely make you look cooler. Can't argue that.

  • Aiming for brevity: Our major grievance with our last Nespresso with a breville engine, which we ran into the ground with over-use, was that it was loud when brewing coffee. We didn't want to wake up the house at 4-5am.... This model is absolutely and reasonably quiet when brewing. It has a deep water reserve for numerous cups of coffee. The Brew quality is as good as any other Nespresso machine we have had. It's very easy to load and unload. We do not regret this purchase at all. We love coffee. It's aesthetically nice, reasonably shaped for a small space,.and is worth the money. Hope this helps.

  • As the water started to heat,I noticed no water was dripping into the carafe which was in place under the basket. I actually had to lift the glass carafe little to engage the spring loaded drip free to allow water to flow.To be clear, this unit was purchased used, not new so perhaps I received a defective. I decided to return it.

  • I purchased this because it's very hard to find decaf Cold Brew..either premade or in filter packs. Love this item. I made small mistake the very first time ( didn't read directions good enough). I tried putting filter in with out the cover on. Spoiler: The water pushes the grounds up! Once I got the hang of it I've had no problems. You can remove the filter and keep the coffee in the glass, however, I transfer it to another container (left in the photo) so that I can always have a new batch going. I do clean out the filter (easy because the botton unscrews) and then pour the new batch in to the other container through the filter to catch any grounds, but I hardly ever have any. The taste is nice and strong. As you can see with the darkness of the coffee in the second container. I just pour a cup and heat in microwave for 2 minutes if I want hot coffee. I definitely reccomend.

  • I use this coffee maker and mug in my work trailer. 420 ml/40 oz is a perfect size to sip on through the morning. It works good and is fast like any other typical coffee maker. It is convenient and also easy to clean once finished I would recommend this.

When I first started using the Ninja, I was saying it's the best coffee maker I've had in 40 years, but - after having it for some time now - I'd say it's the best coffee maker I've ever had... Seriously❣️ I won't go into all the fabulous features this Ninja has, because it would take far too long, but they have thought of just about everything and placed it all into this one little machine. So what if the fold-away frother doesn't heat the milk? Just heat the milk in the microwave before frothing. Otherwise, this machine makes a tremendous cup, travel mug or carafe full of delicious coffee with the push of a couple buttons, with choices of classic, rich and specialty brews - including iced coffee. Heck, it will even adjust its brewing temperature in relation to the elevation of where you live❣️ I can't say enough good things about this coffee maker, however you should know you'll need a bottle brush to clean the carafe... Even with that, it has to be (one of?) the EASIEST coffee maker(s) to clean on the market.
