Mixpresso makes consistently excellent coffee. It has a compact, good-looking design, and no complicated programming is required. Turn on your coffee maker in the morning before you step in the shower if you add an Alexa or Google-compatible smart plug. Your freshly brewed coffee will be waiting for you when you're ready to drink it.
The glass and filter are perfect for what I need it to do- unfortunately the seam where the fine mesh folds over has begun peeling? Or becoming undone in the attempt to thoroughly clean it without being too rough. Which is a shame because I love not having to buy filters but this means there will start being bits that can’t be cleaned out :( I hope they are able to fix this in the future with some sort of attachment like I’ve seen in other filters
I was so impressed and happy with this cold brew coffee maker. I just scoop ground coffee into the filter, add water, seal it tight, shake it, and then put it into refrigerator around 12 hours or more. Very easy to use, I've only used it today and I'm loved it so much! I bought this 52 oz which could serve me and my family at least two days' coffee, perfect for me. Highly recommend it.
Got set on a paper plate and it peeled the paint off the bottom, but definitely would buy again!
Was so impressed with this machine: Ice Coffee, 1/2 pot, full pot, single cup, multi sized cups….what more can you ask for. My Keurig took a crap and I’m so glad I found this. Super easy to use/clean. Use cone filters with gold permanent filter and I use both. You can also switch from full pot fill to squeak out a cup without a problem: “drip-stop”. I am so glad I found. Worth the cost. and keeps the strength of your grounds
Oh I love it! I probably should have gotten the chemex coffee filters but regular filters are working fine for now. My coffee is delicious! Smoother and less bitter than the French press coffee I've always drank. I got a little rubber lid and cozy to keep my coffee warm (I love a long lazy morning on my days off where I make a whole pot and refill my cup over the course of a couple hours) and they work very well! I am so happy with my chemex. I should have gotten one a long time ago! And it's so easy to clean and beautifully simple to boot!
I have mixed feelings about this espresso machine. My buttons were loose the main noob, I should say. It’s not gonna last long, I feel. The actual coffee that comes out is not as strong as it should be if it had more pressure as it pushes out. But for what it’s worth and the price I guess it’s passable. I wanted to rate it a 3 but due to the price and usability I’ll change it to a 4. Oh.. If you are wanting a quick espresso this is not for you it takes a good 5 minutes to a start dripping.
I purchased this to replace an older Keurig coffee maker I'd had for years. After 30 days, I have buyer's remorse for the following reasons: > No brew strengths or temperature control. Coffee often comes out tepid. > Doesn't come with a water filter kit (that's an add-on). > About 1 out of every 10 pods explodes and gets grounds everywhere inside the machine (even if you vent the pods by manually releasing the vacuum sealed air pressure). Due to the location of the buttons, there is no way to easily rinse out the grounds without getting electronic components wet. The only effective means I've found to clean up the mess is to open up the hatch, pull out the internals and rinse them out separately and then let the grounds dry and vacuum them out or brush them out with a little paint brush. Just what you want to be doing first thing in the AM before work. > All of the old reusable pods I had for my older Keurig do not function in this model. This model uses the "multi-stream" pods. I plopped down the money for one of the Keurig branded "universal reusable filters" and that thing is the biggest hassle to load and clean and STILL makes mediocre coffee, no matter the roast or grind. The older refillable pods are simply a cup with a lid that flips up at the top, which was easy to clean and dispensed coffee like the disposable K-Cups. The "multi-stream" has 4 separate pieces you have to disassemble every time you want to use it. You also need to remove an integral part of the machine (the filter holder) and swap it out with an adapter to use refillable pods. If you want to use disposable pods again you need to swap this part back out. Every time. It's a brittle plastic piece that snaps in and out, and looks prone to breakage. The whole operation is a nightmare and makes the refillable pods a pain in the arse to clean. > To top off all of this hassle, the coffee tastes mediocre. It could be $20-a-box of disposable K-cups, with filtered water... Or you could ignore my advice and and buy the proprietary plastic adapter and lovingly load your own pods with the finest recently roasted single-origin beans ground to a medium-fine with your burr grinder... and it will still taste like plasticky, sour gas station coffee. Not all Keurig models have these issues. It's nice that the K-Slim doesn't take up as much counter space as my older model. I wanted something that was convenient with no hassles: Pop in a pod, hit the button have a decent cup of coffee. The K-Slim does not fill that role.
Simple design, fits well in the fridge good gasket seals on both side of spigot. Spigot can be completely disassembled for cleaning (even the valve). Filled basket about 2/3 full with coarsest grind settinf and reservoir about 2/3 full with water. Left overnight and already tasting good. Will let sit the rest of the day then remove basket to have coffee ready all week.
It is the real thing. Even better than the real thing. Update: I had to downgrade this to a 1 star. The handle of the pot literally disintegrated after a week. Will try to get in touch with the customer service
The design is very nice. The only thing that I didn't like too much is that the frost for the capucchino is very little and you always have to add more frost.
This is a review of the Homeleader Single Serve Coffer Maker for K-Cup and Ground Coffee. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I got this for guests and for myself to make hot chocolate. I've used the coffeemakers.us.com brand salted caramel hot chocolate pods and the first six worked beautifully. This machine was easy to use and easy to clean. It worked extremely quickly and heated the water to the perfect temperature. Unfortunately, after just six uses, the water reservoir started leaking, dripping down the outside and pooling water/chocolate on the counter. The inside where the pod was was also a mess, chocolate everywhere. (See photos.) Since I've used this brand of pods before, I can't blame it on them. This machine is going straight to the trash. What a waste!
So hard to find a single cup maker from GROUNDs not k cups. Looks great. Easy to use. All boxes checked except great cup of coffee. Water is delivered to ground at such pressure that water drills/tunnels all the way to bottom of grounds cup, bypassing most of the coffee grounds, producing a week cup of coffee. See image. Why is this so difficult for a company specializing in coffee makers! I had original version of ''THE SCOOP" with same issue. Was hopping this version with deeper grounds cup would force water to 'wet' more grounds for better extraction.
When it comes to coffee makers, I like trying out European brands. I have always owned Krups coffee makers, and my most recent one lasted me six years. I ordered this very nice Melitta coffee maker on coffeemakers.us.com, which arrived quickly. I have always used Melitta cone filters, so I was pleasantly surprised to see their coffee maker. It came packaged very well, double-boxed for protection. Out of the box, I received the stainless steel coffee maker with a built-in burr grinder, a glass carafe, a dosing spoon, some sample #4 Melitta brown, cone coffee filters, and a user manual. After running a blank water-only cycle, I washed the carafe and filter housing with dish soap. We always use fresh coffee beans, so I added 33 grams of coffee beans and set the grinder just below the medium setting. The grinder is slightly louder than our standalone grinder but it grinds very nicely with no uneven chunks. You have to press the side button to open the filter housing. I placed a #4 Melitta brown cone filter, and within a few minutes, we had 5 cups of coffee ready. The coffee tasted good and the machine did a great job. There was some steam that came out from the marked steam outlet, but it was not a big deal at all. The machine is not too tall and fits under our cabinets very well. The bean hopper has an airtight lid to keep the beans fresh. However, we don't keep our beans in the grinder hopper; we always measure them with a scale and grind them based on the quantity we are brewing. All in all, I am very satisfied with this coffee maker. The price is on the higher side compared to others, but with its built-in quality grinder and overall performance, the price is easily justified. I recommend this coffee machine.
Looked good, but arrived from factory with broken cork. Quality control?
