I was so surprised to see how heavy this pot was and how thick the walls were for keeping coffee hot for a very long time. The plunging mechanism is a a very tight fit which is very sturdy . I couldn’t be more pleased. Superior quality and workmanship definitely went into this design. I wished I had bought the larger pot but the smaller one has a perfect for two very large cups of coffee
This is the brewing is perfect for my coffee bar and the grinder is built in! The grinder is also adjustable. I also love it's large capacity for water and it has one button press settings for smaller 2-4 cup brewing. There is touch screen with easy settings for the clock and automatic timer. This brewer made the hottest and freshest drip coffee I've had in a long time. The machine is fully loaded and looks so beautiful too with the stainless steel.
The Braun MultiServe Plus Drip coffee maker is high end, super quality, that makes great tasting coffee that is simple to use. Out of the box with the quick start instructions that I barely needed, I was making coffee in no time! First I tried cold brew because it was the afternoon when it was delivered and I couldn't wait to try it. The cold brew feature is new to me, thank wasn't an option on my old coffee maker and I will now be drinking it everyday! So easy and delicious!!! YUM!!! I used the same coffee that I've always used cause you dont need pods or cups in this machine, which I am very thankful for, cause I like my coffee STRONG and you don't get that when you use pods or cups. So anyway, somehow this machine took away ALL the bitterness and made my coffee even smoother... Loving it! The next morning I made my regular coffee on the BOLD setting and OMG so good! I'm not sure why or what this machine is doing differently than my old machine, but my coffee is soooooo smooth. The half pot feature is the PERFECT amount for me and kept the coffee nice and not while I drand my first cup!.
I received my Bodum Brazil French press coffee maker 51 oz, 1.5 Liter last Friday. We were so excited to use it! While cleaning it, I noticed one of the filtering pieces of plastic was broken. It doesn’t effect the coffee as far as I can tell, but I’m disappointed that my brand new product has this flaw :(
I haven't had a single cup coffee machine for some years but decided to got one again because I would like to just make a single cup at a time instead of a whole or half pot and wind up reheating later cups because I don't drink them really fast on my weekends and my regular coffee pot turns off after an hour. Hamilton Beach is a brand I've purchased other products of and never had any issues too. When the product arrived the whole thing was in a plastic bag and it was all wet inside the bag not on the outside. I'm guessing they water test the unit and somehow it got wet and they just packed it up. I was alarmed, but luckily it didn't have any mildew odor or any other smell, but I thoroughly cleaned every piece of the unit with detergent and water and ran some vinegar through it and several water only runs to make sure it was safe. I've used this unit for several weeks now and so far it doesn't take long for it to make a cup of coffee at all. I've used both k-cups and coffee grounds and the gadget performes well using either. I do wish the ground coffee basket was slightly larger because I like my coffee pretty strong, but it doesn't make this not worth checking out. I also have seen some different devices that have the water reservoir on the side which would probably be slightly more convenient because I have to pull it away from under my cupboards to refill and reach my head around to see the water level, but it's just a minor inconvenience, though it could have swayed my decision if I would have thought about it at the time. The cup predetermined cup sizes seem to slightly vary every brew because using the same cup I'll notice the fill level will sometimes be slightly different, this only matters because I add creamer to my coffee and sometimes have to pour a little out to have enough room for my desired amount of creamer. The coffee comes out pretty hot, perfect temperature for me because I don't like having to wait for my coffee to cool some before sipping, but some might want it a little hotter. Overall this unit does perform very well, and I'm content with having it. I might have chosen a different one if I would have foreseen the small issues I have, but I'll be using this without a real problem.
This is my first cold brew carafe. I'm not positive if sediment is a usual occurence with cold brew, but from reading about it, some is unavoidable. Unfortunately it can increase bad cholesterol leading to heart health issues. Plus, who wants to drink all of that? Yuck. For reference, I did use course ground coffee. This one in particular ---> https://www.coffeemakers.us.com.com/gp/aw/d/B07BL58L14?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_image My resolution was to place a coffee filter in a mesh strainer and pour the coffee through that into a large measuring cup. I washed the carafe and poured the coffee back in, placed the black silicone lid for storage and back in the fridge it went. An added nuisance, but not too terrible. Pros- 1) Mouth of carafe is wide enough for me to stick my hand inside to wash easily, not needing a sponge on a stick. 2) Smooth tasting delicious coffee. 3) Silicone base Cons- 1) Sediment and added step to strain however this may be unavoidable with any cold brew system. 2) Black silicone lid used for storage after brewing needs to be removed before pouring. Drippy mess with it on.
It’s so easy to use, has the spoon, and permanent filter, and pretty compact for my coffee nook area. I love it! Most importantly, my husband loves it! We do 2 small scoops for a 14oz cup and all my husband has to do is put his travel mug on and press classic and go to work. Also made a great Christmas gift!
Love this guy! First photo: Got crema! Don’t pack too hard for more. I also let the shot run past the green light to get more crema and more espresso for my cappuccino. If I stop for green light to come back on for second shot, I don’t get as much crema. Second photo: Great frother! But be certain to use a wide mouth cup, or you won’t get as much foam. This photo shows more than double amount of foam of coconut milk with a splash of cow than original liquid. I just actually foam in my chilled cup and add the espresso and it’s still hot enough for me, and I can drink it right away. But you can transfer the foam, if you want a hotter beverage. I’ve had this dreamboat now for about 3 weeks and have made at least two double shot cappuccinos per day on it. The one I had this morning is as good as the one I had on the very first day, which was fantastic! Great buy especially for 15 bars! Good shipping, Seems like a clean machine, well made, and made in the good ole’ USA. Let’s see how long it will last. I have a really good feeling about this guy! I’m thinking about introducing him to my mother! 😀
Me Encantó el color pero el tanque del agua vino partido 🥺🥺😭😭
I love it! After my Keurig coffee maker died, we contemplated getting a regular coffee maker, an Expresso machine or a Nespresso maker. I didn't want to give up that good ol cup of joe, so I searched for a combo machine. I am aware that this doesn't actually make Expresso, but it does make a strong 4oz option. The thing that really sold me though was the brother. I have a battery operated frother. It's meh. This frother was AMAZING. I warmed my creamer for 15 seconds in the microwave while the coffee brewed and then frothed it up for 30 seconds. It was so well formulated that it did not sink down during the entire time it took me to drink my coffee. It was so good. I am excited to see what else I can make and find my new go to recipe!
Seems good at first but when you poor for 5 cups of water, after brewing, there's only 4 cups. There's also a manufacturing defect : a part of the machine seems to be "open" (as show on the picture). I tried to close it but it's not working. So I do not recommend this coffee machine
Easy to setup. Charge the base fully before use. Grind your beans and fill the max water and coffee grinding. I think I may have needed to pack it in more the coffee because I tried it this morning and it was a bit watery. I may need to use stronger coffee for sure but this is impressive.
I wanted a maker that uses grounds. I’m not a fan of the Keurig type maker. I feel like there isn’t much flavor. I love this! It is compact and perfect for a small space. It makes really hot coffee. I am learning how much coffee grounds to use as it was a little strong. I do use a 1-4 cup filter for easier cleanup. I just stick it in on top of the filter it comes with. I’m not a fan of the cup it came with, but it is nice for doing plain water for a cup of hot chocolate. I saw some complaints about splatter if you use a shorter cup. It’s not bad. Have a napkin handy if your cup is short. It automatically shuts off when done. There are a few drops after, so just put that napkin down if you want your beverage right away. Very happy with this product.
I love this coffee maker. Simple, ease of use, brews at the right temperature, keeps it hot but not burnt. But, the heating pad rusted. Krups, really? Looks like an old rusty hubcap left out in a field!
I included a picture from the box. This product contains lead. A known carcinogen that is cumulative in damage. Why is coffeemakers.us.com allowing this to be sold? Avoid.
