Muy mala calidad me la compre no ase un mes y esta asiendo un ruido muy feo parece como si fuera en la resistencia cuando esta calentando para aser el cafe
Unless it’s on sale I’m not 100 percent sure I can say this is worth its value. The positive is - it’s cute and small and makes a great quick desk coffee maker or a camping trip coffee maker if you have an outlet source. It made a cup of coffee! The con - the plastic feels cheap as a lot of the parts do. If you drop it - you probably won’t recover it. I could be wrong. But I ran a cup of water through as suggested in manual for the first go round and then I spend all day not able to get it on so the buttons are kinda finicky. I finally got it to turn on right as I was about to sit down to do my review.
Cómo hago para limpiarla ya que el café no cuela o baja y no encuentro un kit de cómo limpiarla
I was surprised by the quality of this coffee maker. After my friend in our party dropped it from 2 feet height to kitchen floor carelessly, it stands perfectly without any crack. For a large jug, it does not take much space in the fridge, easy to use. I like its shape and easy way to clean.
I bought this bundle to expand my cold brewing capacity at home. I have 2 other complete sets and should have just bought another one of those. I honestly only use the filter and lid as a last resort. Things that were sub optimal. 1 The top included in this bundle(on the right in the picture) has two issues. The pour spout is hard to open because there is no front tab to help open it. The second issue is the handle is set way too close to the jar. This makes it poorly balanced and awkward to pour from. 2 the whole reason I bought this was for the longer basket, but since it gets narrower as it goes down, cleaning this is a major pain. The other ones I have are straight down and easy to clean up.
At about the one-year mark of ownership this coffee maker pot broke in the dishwasher. I previously had to glue the pouring lip back on because that cracked and came off while handling/cleaning. In general, the glass pot is too thin and the lip is poorly designed meaning it cannot stand up to normal use and cleaning. Shame on you Proctor Silex for designing a poor product. I just received this CERA+ Portable Coffee Machine in "cream" color, and it is absolutely AWESOME! The best travel coffee machine ever made, IMHO. After quite a few disappointing experiences with other brands and models, this machine proved to be a reliable companion during our first trip! I was really impressed by its portability, convenience, and promise of a good cup of coffee anywhere. Upon receiving the package and taking it out, the CERA+ portable coffee machine exuded quality. The cream color with a gold rim in the middle looks pleasantly elegant, and the compact design makes it easy to carry it in your backpack. The inclusion of a USB-C charging option adds to its travel-friendly appeal. The initial setup is straightforward, with clear instructions for use. I appreciate the thoughtful design that accommodates both Nespresso capsules and ground coffee beans. The machine performs admirably, meeting our expectations for a portable espresso maker. The Nespresso capsule issue mentioned in another review is evident - this coffee machine really struggles to perforate the bottom of the coffee capsules, but this minor inconvenience is easily solved with a slight modification: using a sliver of something sharp to perforate the capsule improves its effectiveness dramatically. The machine also handles ground coffee seamlessly, delivering rich, flavorful cups. Just watch my video! One standout feature is its ability to heat water, making it the perfect choice for hiking and backpacking when there is no ready source of hot water on the go. The three water level options allow for customization, although it may take some experimentation to find the perfect strength. It's worth noting that it can produce several hundred cups on one charge with preheated water. Pro-tips. Experiment with water levels and coffee strength for your preferred taste. Consider perforating Nespresso capsules for optimal performance. Utilize preheated water for extended use on the go. And don't forget to clean the machine after each use - it even has self-cleaning mode (double press the power button). Talking about issues and potential improvements. While the Nespresso capsule issue is easily resolved, it would be ideal for future models to address this concern out of the box. Additionally, expanding compatibility with different capsule brands could enhance the overall user experience. And I would suggest including more than one ground coffee reusable pod (or sell them separately) so I can pack a bunch of my homemade pods to go. *** TL;DR *** Highly recommended portable coffee machine for on-the-go brewing. The CERA+ Portable Coffee Machine lives up to its promise of providing great coffee during travels. Its ease of cleaning and adaptability to hot or cold water makes it a versatile choice. The ability to use our own coffee and the inclusion of a reusable "Keurig cup" are added bonuses. It's perfect for road trips, sailing adventures, and even construction sites, as mentioned by a fellow buyer. It's versatile, easy to use, and convenient for various scenarios. My rating is 5 stars hands down. +++ Pros +++ 1) Portable and compact design. 2) Multiple colors to choose from (cream is the best). 3) Built-in battery for on-the-go coffee brewing. 4) Fast USB-C charging option. 5) Works with Nespresso capsules and ground coffee. 6) Can heat water up to 94C for the best coffee results. 7) Extraction at a whopping 20 BARS pressure! 8) Can extract over 200 cups of espresso on one charge using pre-heated water. 9) Easy to clean. --- Cons --- 1) Nespresso capsule may require additional perforation. 2) Can brew only 4-5 cups of espresso with 50ml cold water.
Update 11/21: I’m changing it to 4 stars. This thing grew on me after awhile. Still a bit pricey with some design flaws, but I like it now. We just needed to figure out the ratios to our liking. We put about 2 TBS of freshly ground coffee and it seems to work just fine. Still it’s not an expresso kind of coffee but more of an americano. We are using this more as it gets colder and we find the coffee to be pretty good. We pour the coffee out into a cup though like pitcher. We added our warm milk to the coffee cup. I can not see letting the coffee sitting for so long, so I would say take it to work and use it in the morning, but don’t let it sit all day. Although it did stay rather warm when I realized there was some coffee left over later in the day. Of course it was bitter! So I wouldn’t recommend keeping the coffee for a few hours letting it brew. Unless your are into bitter off tasting coffee (no judgement). It’s actually fine and good quality. But I recommend pouring the brewed coffee into a cup then add all your preferences. Let it brew for at least 3 min or longer though. I said the coffee was bad, but after i figured out the rations with some good fresh beans, it’s actually quite nice. But you still can’t do expresso in here! So I take it back, it’s not a bad item if you want americano kind of coffee. Just wish it was a little less expensive. Earlier review: I mean it’s ok, but it’s not great. I guess this will be nice for someone who makes just regular american coffee. But if you want expresso then this isn’t right for you. This doesn’t seem to leak, so it would be good for a trip (but I wouldn’t trust it in my bag) and it’s sturdy so far and nice looking item. No coffee grounds in the coffee, which is nice. But I can see this has some design flaws. These are the ones I noticed. First it’s difficult to pull back up once you push the plunger down, but I suppose why would need to pull it back up once you add coffee and water. Also I noticed a lot of extra good coffee liquid gets stuck under the plunger (see photos), so it’s sort of wasteful. It doesn’t leave much space if you wanted to add milk either, you would have to open it and pull the plunger back up (which I tried but the coffee again was still pretty bad). I suppose you can pour it on the top. If you want bad 7/11 coffee this is right for you jajajaja. Someone else pointed out the coffee will keep brewing and then leave you with bitter even more gross tasting coffee.
We are fairly pleased with this Chefman 12-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker. The filter holder can be a little bit difficult to remove sometimes, but that's a negligible issue. We are coffee connoisseurs in our household (everyone's at home during this time, and I have a house full of coffee drinkers--one of whom is a barista. We are picky about coffee). We use our coffee maker(s) a ton, and put them through the wringer, using a coffee maker two to three times a day at times. You need to run a cleaning cycle twice before using this coffee maker, which is not a huge deal, since there are no beans to hold up the process. After fifty brewing cycles, it will tell you to clean the coffee maker again--using vinegar. I like this, because all too frequently, we have to just judge when we need to clean the other coffee maker in the house, like when the coffee starts tasting "off". This is a pretty straightforward machine. There is a setting for "bold" coffee--our favorite, which we appreciate. The coffee this machine produces is fairly smooth, with no bitter aftertaste. We were uniformly pleased with the results. I like having a reusable filter; I will never buy a coffee maker that utilizes one. All the components are dishwasher-safe, although we do tend to wash the parts by hand. The footprint isn't huge for a 12-cup coffee maker, but it doesn't seem particularly small, either. The stainless steel is a nice neutral look for any kitchen. The plastic used in the production of the Chefman is a little flimsier than I would hope, but it's comparable with other coffee makers in this price range. What I want in a coffee maker is a reasonably decent machine with a high probability of a good cup of coffee. This Chefman hits those marks, and seems to be priced according to its value. Programmable, not too many bells and whistles, not too expensive. It can make twelve cups pretty quickly, and sometimes that's just what you need in the morning.
Nice French Press but it has a significant manufacturing defect on the edge which makes me wonder if it will affect insulation.
Not sure I would have bought it if it wasn't for my wife's birthday and the prime day was discount. There is a cool factor but Im not barista and I can't tell much difference between this and a 15$ coffee maker. But my wife wanted a gold/brass one and there aren't a lot of options out there.
This is a nice travel coffee maker. It only has the option to plug into a vehicle outlet. I use it for road trips to heat water for tea as it heats pretty quickly. If you travel and like hot beverages and travel, then this is for you.
Perfect! That's all I need to say
Don't waste your money. I bought this in May 2020. In Decrmber 2020 the two tabs which hold the plastic top to the cover broke off. Now the percolator is useless because the plastic top is no longer attachable to the cover. West Bend's website says the replacement plastic top is out of stock, and has been for over 6 months. What a colossal waste of money buying this percolator was.
I was looking for a small 20 bar espresso machine for home use when I cam across this one. Many of the inexpensive 20 bar machines generally look and operate the same. The reason why I ordered this one was because of the steaming wand. The thinner wands work better, in my experience, over the thicker ones with a cover on them. The machine is dead simple to setup. Pour some water into the tank, turn on, measure out ground coffee, insert portafilter, and hit the button. The portafilter is the normal pressurized variety. I have also added a bottomless portafilter which improves the flavor for me ($20 investment). As I said, the steam wand is great. Creates a beautiful foam and is easy to control. Note that the glass steam cups on top of the machine in my picture do not come with the machine. Also, the tamper pictured does not either. The machine does include a plastic measuring spoon with a tamper on the other end (it's pictured behind my tamper in the photo). Great machine, no complaints. The coffee will be as good as your bean and grind...the machine won't stand in your way to making great coffee.
