  • First time I used it and it broke as I was gently stirring in sugar to iced tea that I brewed in it. The glass was room temperature and I was using a plastic spoon, so not sure what would cause it to break other than it being poor quality glass.

  • After brewing less than ten espressos, coffee begin to leak around the outlet. I’ve made sure that all parts were twisted rightly. Asked for a replacement, hope the new one can work well.

I bought this coffee pot because of the reviews on America’s Test Kitchen. They rated it as a number one coffee pot. Although, a bit pricey we wanted the best coffee. The lid started to leak and needed to be snugged, so it wouldn’t leak when the coffee was poured. The mechanism you push to have the coffee pour has since broke. The replacement lid is $15 and with supply chain issues the company has said we cannot get them right now. Understandable. On their website they say they are not responsible for repairing or replacing products purchased before October 15, 2021. We bought ours in September 2021. It seems like a lot of money for some thing that broke too soon. A review of the coffee maker, the carafe only holds 8 cups, not the typical 12. We knew this but really wanted the best coffee pot. We wish it held 12 cups. The carafe doesn’t seem to keep the coffee as hot as you would think it should. There is no timer on it and it took some getting used to, but it only takes five minutes to brew a pot. If you want it to stay hot you need to put the cover on as soon as it’s done brewing. All in all the coffee is great and but having a broken lid without being able to get replacement parts is a bummer. Per their website it says that the brand has recently undergone a business restructuring which has resulted in new management of Bonavita brand product distribution. Apparently the prior distributor is no longer supporting the products it’s sold. It’s not necessarily the companies fault and it’s a crazy time to get anything these days. They do say they will try to work with you and possibly get you a replacement. They are trying.

So easy and it comes with it's own filter. Great price!

  • This personal size French press is the perfect size. I have another one that is a bit bigger but this one has several advantages. The first thing I liked was that the pouring area has a section of black plastic with holes in it that helps strain out larger stuff that may sneak in. I prefer the handle and the overall smoothness of operation of the press over my other one too. It seems to work better but I'm not really sure that the quality is quite as good. I like that my other French press has a stainless steel band around it where this one from Paracity uses plastic. I guess the plastic does the job and I'm not positive that it's a weakness.

This pour over coffee brewer really impressed me. It is extremely easy to use compared to other pour over brewers I've used like the Chemex and Hario v60. It is more consistent as well since you don't need to pour a specific way. I am very happy it includes a carafe so I can brew a large batch for me and friends without having to make multiple batches as with the Hario v60. I have used generic grocery store preground coffee, as well as, specialty coffee ground right before brewing, and the flavor is great on both. For the price and convenience, I've been recommending my family and friends to pick one up.

So far so good. Only thing I don’t like is that the description claims to have an auto-off feature, which is false and that was the main reason for purchasing the machine.

How would you like to clean this up before coffee! Horrible mess

  • Bought this little coffee maker last August, and I use it every day. Works great, and came with a reusable filter.

  • The lid to the kettle is difficult to take off. Doesn’t just tip over when you press it like others. You have to pull it off. Be careful to fit the kettle perfectly under the spout or it will not press the pause lever and it’ll spill everywhere. Stressfull situation getting it ready at night. The several option buttons are a bit much. The travel mug option for the pod side is SUPER inconvenient. You have to tip the mug over significantly to fit it into and take out of the crevice. So don’t fill the mug or you’ll spill it-this is the most annoying part of it really. The condensation water from the lid for the carafe water side spills to the back when you open it. If I had to do it over, I would not get this one.

  • Daily coffee drinker here and im a bit of a snob with my coffee, coffee beans, etc. It can be expensive and time consuming buying and/or making coffee or cold brew every morning. When I read how quickly the dash cold brew coffee maker can produce cold brew I thought even if its that fast the taste has to take a serious hit and I was not willing to settle for a subpar brew. I already have every other cold brew apartus under the sun so said ill try it out. My skepticism flew out the window after my first sip. The quality was there and it was extremely easy to use. It's even easier to use than making a pot of coffee because you don't need filters or anything and it is FAST. The only down side is I've found my self drinking even more cold brew now. If you drink cold brew regularly this is a must!

  • Well, the instructions were print outside the box,but no measurements or recipes. It seem to be missing the filter cap…other than that, its good material…wish there were some recipes or something…

Really wanted to like this but I'm really disappointed. Set up is not as simple like I thought it would be. The part that dissaponts the most is the brewing. I have wasted coffee grounds, and gotten really really weak coffee. I Followed instructions to brew and coffee is super light at the heavy brew setting (took over 12 hours to brew when it says 10 hours). I looked at the coffee grounds in the bottom pod and the middle was still dry. The water completely went around and only brewed the outer. Picture included.

  • Yes, it’s a wee bit more trouble to make, but it is how coffee should taste!! Smooth, silky, creamy texture coffee is what I get from this coffee maker. A friend’s wife is from Italy, this is the only way she’ll drink coffee. Now she has us all convinced what real coffee taste like! Note, I should have bought larger pot, 4 cup is barely 1 American coffee cup. This is real coffee taste, I’m not going back after this coffee maker!
