I'm adding this review to try and help those that are having problems with it leaking. The issue is that you have grounds stuck in the spout. The item is completely disassemble able. Take off the bottom cover and unscrew the bottom. Remove the tube and wash all parts. It's nice because you can completely disassemble it and sanitize everything. Just be careful not to lose the small black gasket. I have been using this every week for well over a year. I didnt purchase on coffeemakers.us.com but received it as a gift. Yes I had it start to leak on me once but after I realized you could disassemble it it was much easier to clean. And never leaks. If you are having at lot of leaking problems you may be using to fine of a grind. I have used many cheapo brew pots but this is the one to get! Very nice large grounds strainer and open top so you dont have to slow drip your water in or make a mess. Hope this helps!
Le doy un 100 de 10 es super rápido en menos de 5 minutos tendrás listo un buen café
I have been using my new Nitro Cold Brew system for roughly a week now. I wanted to try out some different recipes to really put this thing to the test! All I have to say is Wow! I wish I had this a long time ago. Works like a charm. Let me start with the quality. This kit is very well designed and made of stainless steel. All the parts feel sturdy and well constructed. Cleaning it is a breeze since everything comes apart. Just some dish soap, luke warm water, let it soak, and rinse. For heavier cleaning, it comes with two brushes to make sure you get all the hard to reach areas. Now let's talk about the assembly. The kit comes with a easy to read and follow instruction pamphlet. I was able to assemble it without the pamphlet with no problems. Be very careful when cutting the hose as it needs to be the right size in order to get all of the coffee from the keg. It cannot be too short or to long. Measure from the bottom side as the bottom middle protrates a little. All in all it was a quick and easy setup. Taste! Let's talk about the taste. This Nitro Cold Brew machine will not disappoint. It makes a fantastic Nitro Cold Brew and you will have fun doing so. Adding the Nitro really brings out the coffee notes and adds a nice foam texture. Make sure to get the correct N02 cartridges. I chose the Whip It brand which can be found on coffeemakers.us.com and they work well and are reasonably priced. This kit has changed how I drink coffee because of how easy it is to make a nitro cold brew. I was shocked on how good my coffee turned out and it saves me time and money on a trip to the coffee shop. Overall, this thing pays for itself in no time and I highly recommend it. Cheers!
This coffee maker was just what I wanted. Being used to having the Ninja coffee bar and it's iced drinks around at my mom's house, I wanted to have my own iced coffee maker so I could fuel my iced coffee addiction in a more cost effective way. This coffee maker fits the bill. So far it has been working great. I know lots of people have had issues with it, but so far mine is working fine. The coffee comes out tasting good (I don't use the scoop at all though, I use as much as I think I need for strong coffee. The coffee basket is fairly big so it's not a problem.) I don't keep mine plugged in, and only plug it in when I'm ready to run the brewing cycle, then unplug it as soon as it's done and leave it that way until the next time I use it. Definitely don't keep this machine plugged in. I also don't have an issue with the ice all melting. I use large ice cubes and there are plenty left when the coffee is done brewing. Of course the coffee doesn't come out cold, the coffee still has to brew! You can't brew coffee quickly with cold water, it needs to be hot unless you're making cold brew, which requires much more time. The machine brews stronger coffee and then the ice cools it. Yeah it waters it down a little, but ice will melt either way. Just add more coffee.
Overall great mini coffee maker (up to 12oz) Packaged really well and instructions are right up top. I like the quality of the maker and it’s not loud while pouring. It comes with a coffee grounds cup to add your own grounds and also comes with a k cup holder which is my personal favorite. It works great. Had my first cup of coffee after my old maker broke over a week ago so was ready. Price definitely matches the durability and quality. So far so good. I was surprised it gave a 2 minute making time so I suppose that’s from start to finish because once the water was poured and It started brewing it was fast and easy within a minute or so. *HEADS UP* I have a lot of camping yeti mugs that will not fit under my only recommendation is making a coffee maker that will fill those to-go cups bigger than the regular coffee mug size!
The Tastyle Single Brewer is exactly as pictured and listed. If you've used a little hotel coffee brewer, it's the same idea; using the cup or mug you'll be drinking out of, fill it with water and pour it in. There is no water reservoir so what you pour in is what comes out. It comes with a little reusable k-cup for fresh grounds, but I only tested/used a k-cup as I don't think the 'use your own grounds' is ever strong enough for me. That said, I also chose to brew with the 'over ice' option because that makes a stronger brew than what the average cup is. This is just a 'back up' and 'travel' brewer for me, so it won't be getting a ton of use, as it's not my normal household brewer. The lack of reservoir is not an issue for me in that case and if it's not a 'long lasting' brewer that won't be a huge issue for me either. If you can catch it on a sale, it's a good choice.
So easy to use! I just watched a YouTube tutorial and did some trial and error runs and this is perfect! I use it for cold brews
Super easy to make a latte! I followed the instruction booklet and one for a regular latte. So I used vanilla coffee, soy milk, organic sugar and hazelnut syrup. Easy to clean also.
I haven't had any issues with this coffee maker. Yes. It's a drip coffee maker. Itll take a few minutes to get a cup of coffee, but for me, it's really only like 5 minutes max. And the coffee is still hot enough that when I add cold creamer, it's the perfect temp to start drinking. It is small. I added a picture with it in between a roll of paper towels and my can opener to kinda give you an idea of it's real size. It's perfect for my home because we live in a small place and I dont have room for my Keurig K-Classic to stay on my counter. I never have to move the Mixpresso. Just push it up against a wall I cant keep the lid down all the way, but it doesn't seem to really affect the way it works. Overall, I think it's great and worth the money spent, which really isn't much. Reusable coffee filter, just rinse/wash it out. I added a picture showing that tall coffee cups wont fit, but you shouldn't have any issue with normal sized mugs. **NO AUTO POWER OFF** you must manually turn on and off. Make sure you remember to turn it off.
Washing carafe in sink, half full of soapy water, tipped over and “clink” the carafe broke! Other than the breaking of an unbreakable carafe worked fairly well!
Was excited to use this French press but it came shattered in the edges and tip 🥺
For starters, the filter goes almost to the bottom. I tried a couple of others, and the filter was about an inch from the bottom, which then causes the coffee to float above the water. I love the design of this too. It’s simple and sweet and glass. It’s a little bit delicate. I coddle my cold brew anyway 😂 The rubber ring is kind of flimsy that seals the coffee strainer, so I’m just gentle with it. Don’t tear at it too much when I’m washing it. So even though it’s not perfect, it’s been the most perfect and got 5 😊
Works great. The last one lasted 12 years. Hope this one lasts longer.
This is a heavy duty glass container. The top is not as rugged but works well. I have small, skinny fingers and my knuckles would bang against the glass whenever i grabbed the handle. You have to hold the handle with just your fingertips between the handle and the glass. I've brewed one batch and the filter worked very well in keeping most of the grind out of the coffee. The brush that came with it is generic but worked as it should. It is very convenient to brew in the pitcher and not have to transfer the coffee to another container.
