Simply amazing. A little louder then my blender but makes great drinks with regular coffee. Frappe mix is really not a must but is great to. This is going to save me tons of money this summer.
When you spend this amount (~$160+) for a coffee maker, you expect it to last several years or more. In less than two years, the plastic top broke open, clearly a manufacturing defect and poor quality materials. There is an internal spring which allows the top to open up by itself when you unlatch it. Unfortunately, the internal spring was strong enough to break through the top cover of the coffee maker, which looks absolutely awful. I am not sure how much longer it will function, as the break is only getting worse. If you are considering buying this coffee maker because you assume its high price point means it is a quality product that will last, then I hate to tell you that you are better off buying a cheaper one that will actually last. For this price point, this is not acceptable and therefore gets the lowest rating of 1 star.
So far I have used this KIDISLE Single Serve Coffee Machine over a week and I am satisfied with it. The product came well packed. It takes little countertop size. Water reservoir is easy to refill and clean. The capsule container, drip tray and reservoir is removable and easy to clean. It also came with extra adaptors and reusable capsules. Overall I’m very satisfied with this coffee machine. Recommend.
I really wanted to love this, but I’m not 100% sold. First of, this machine looks absolutely amazing. It seems very sturdy, and the hard plastic and wood finishes make it look very expensive. It’s also neat that its battery operated (batteries not included) - so very much travel friendly. The con I found with this machine is that it recommends that you put lukewarm water in to make the pour over- which I guess is necessary because the machine is mostly a plastic material. This is concerning to me if I want to drink my coffee right away because it’ll come out the same temperature as you put it in. Usually when I make a pour-over its with very hot water, and my coffee is ready to drink once finished so that’s the only downside to using this machine. The huge pro of this machine is that it does create the pour over very quickly which is great and what I was looking for, but I do wish I could put very hot water through it without the possibility of damaging it.
It’s a decent product, but the markings faded on the side of the pot and seller will not warranty after only a few short months. Always washed by hand at least once a week. No dishwasher or harsh soaps.
Dislike the finish on the warming plate is peeling off it has an Automatic shut off so there’s no way of leaving the warming plate on too long.
Advertised as a 6 cup coffee maker, it actually IS marked in increments 1 - 6! On the seller's site here, there are no photos of it near other objects for comparison. So here I'm providing one. Here it is next to my French Press which makes 2 big 16+ oz mugs, and a 14 oz mug. I WANTED a smaller version of a 12-cup drip maker, but this is ridiculous!
This is not worth the price. It’s neat, it’s cool, looks pretty, but the valve at the spout and the plug at the top are plastic and melted the second time I used it. Super disappointing. Quality does not match the price.
I am happy with my purchase, but let me address other reviews that almost made me not buy this k-cup brewer: 1) "Hard to fill up." This has nothing to do with this k-cup brewer. Try using your coffee mug as a precision water pouring device and you will be sorely disappointed. YES, water DOES go everywhere if you try and aim water out of a coffee mug. The reason is there is not a pouring lip on a coffee mug. Duh. Solution: we keep a Pyrex measuring cup next to the coffee mugs and PROBLEM SOLVED. Fills with water quickly and easily, with no spills. 2) Next, I feel like a lot of reviewers were disappointed with the amount of the coffee output. Ten ounces, the amount it brews, is slightly less than a soda can (12 ounces). Pour that amount of liquid in your coffee cup before you order your machine and see if that'll be enough coffee for you. I included a photo of a full brew in my mug so you can see. It was fine for us, but I can imagine many Starbucks grande and venti drinkers that would be disappointed. FYI--a Starbucks 'tall' (SMALL) is 12 OUNCES. 3) Bad taste. YES, ours smelled/tasted metallic straight out of the box. After reading all the reviews, when I received my brewer I ran 6 cycles of water through and then brewed the first k-cup. The coffee was bitter and undrinkable. I then read the instructions for "descaling" in the booklet. (Fill with white vinegar and hit start so that it starts brewing, but without a k-cup. When it starts to brew shut OFF the machine and let it sit for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, hit start again so the vinegar is pumped out of the machine. THEN run water through (still no k-cup) for 6-10 times. I did it until I didn't smell any vinegar). Worked like a charm. Coffee tastes great. If this helped you, please click the "Helpful" button. Thanks! :)
I really like pink color of the coffee maker. It’s a 12 cup coffee maker and it has nice finishing style touches to the appliance. It also comes with the instructions booklet so you can now how to maintain it while using. I am so eager to try this coffee maker its is very easy to clean as well. The lid shuts perfectly and it’s sits very well on the countertop. It has a little weight to it as I removed it out the box. It’s really worth the wait to get the coffee maker.
I love it! I definitely can say the taste of the coffee is much better than when it’s made in a coffee machine. I highly recommend it’s affordable practical and pretty too. It comes with everything you need
There some marks on a brand new coffee brewer and the brewer dont't brew good
I gave this coffee maker to my nephew last year as a christmas give and he was so happy about it that I got one for myself. It's versatile and makes great coffee.
After six months, the glass broke off just putting the empty filter back in the clean carafe, per the photo. You get what you pay for, maybe a little less.
