I have purchased this wonderful coffee machine after having issues with my Turkish one which had 240V converter and the built in mixer is thr best thing which allows you to pour water + coffee without mixing with a spoon. It does really nice coffee and the layer of cream just right. Because I liked it so much, I bought the same one in Türkiye for my mom. Highly recommended!

  • The glass top for the percolator was cracked upon opening the package.

  • Ad and box say 50oz but it barely holds 40oz of water. Coffee stays warm and the pot is easy to use. I just wish it was the size advertised. Still debating as to whether to return or not. The price may inspire me to keep it. Undecided.

  • The product arrived quickly. The glass jar had broken in transit & was rattling in the box on pickup / had already scuffed the enamel on the canister. I just used another Ball jar that I had handy, but they should work on the packaging. I already have 5 different canisters, some for N2O, but wanted a 16oz for N2, because I only had a 32oz. This product doesn't receive the N2 cartridges that ISI makes. The receiver is smaller & fits the regular N2O cartridges, so I have to order the ICO N2s from eBay, since coffeemakers.us.com won't ship those cartridges to Alaska. I'll end up keeping it though, because I can get the N2s somewhere else & we don't have stores in AK that sell a 16oz N2 dispenser...

Interesting engineering concept for a coffee/espresso machine. It made great lattes for the first month and then lost it's ability to make a good drink at all. In fact, I believe I have unknowingly been drinking plastic for the past few weeks. At the bottom of the pot, the black plastic lining that is used for heating, near the hot froth maker, seems to have completely melted off or slowly been chipped away by heat from the froth maker (I will be making a video very soon - you can also view photos of this on the customer images). Knowing that I've been drinking plastic for the last couple of weeks is just really upsetting and scary. Cleaning didn't show me any wear and tear like this, and then I suddenly "chewed" my coffee :/. Wondering what I was chewing, I grabbed a piece of black tar like substance from my mouth, thinking it was just cooked milk or burned milk from the frother. But, it wasn't - it was straight up black plastic. I then scrubbed the bottom of the pot, and ran the machine with water only - realizing very small black pieces were lifting from the bottom as it was frothing. Very small - small enough to look like a few coffee grinds. I made a regular latte then filled it with water (the video shows the dark colored froth left over) and I could clearly see the floating black plastic. This scares me because I don't know how long I have been drinking plastic - the tiny black pieces of plastic are hard to see with milk or black coffee in the pot. When I went to dump the pot and clean it, it was very hard to tell that any plastic had even melted or chipped off at all. This just shows that this problem does not occur until the pot is in use. You won't see this while cleaning, and you especially won't see it with milk at the bottom of your pot! Smaller problems I had with this latte maker was: (1) rusting (2) the quality and quantity of coffee brewed (3) the froth itself. All the metal inside of the pot will rust quickly. The metal lining at the top of the pot, and the spinning froth maker inside of the pot. Even with proper cleaning and drying of the metal after every use, will not stop the metal from rusting. I would never leave any moisture, knowing it's metal of some sort - and yet, it still rusted. I'm not sure why. After only a few weeks, the coffee grinds you use even when following the directions, won't be entirely used. It seems the water spout doesn't spread the water evenly throughout the coffee grind holder. I tried making all the coffee grinds sit as close to the water sprout so it would be used, making a good coffee - but after brewing, there were still untouched coffee grinds in the top. You'll want a couple tablespoons of coffee grinds more than the directions to make that latte taste right. Those who are expecting real frothed milk may be sorely disappointed. The "froth" that the machine creates is not a real steamed milk that you would get in your coffee shop. The machine essentially whips milk with a "frother" until tiny bubbles are created. In conclusion, I would not recommend this product, unless you want "lattes" that look a lot better than they taste, or quick rusting and deterioration of the machine, which you won't figure out until you accidentally drink plastic.

  • Our old perculator died and I bought this one thinking it would be even better. I was wrong. It didn't come with the instructions or the filters. But since I used a perculator similar to this one, I thought no big deal. Wrong. The first pot was the same as the second pot. The coffee grounds had to be strained out so you could even drink the coffee. It did have good flavor but not worth all the trouble. I was so confident a out it I through away the box. Now I'm stuck with it. I'll be buying one someplace else

I've definitely become a fan of the Breville suite of coffee makers. This one rounds out my collection. Consistently rated as the best or one of the best drip-style coffee makers on the market, this was an easy selection. I'm very happy with the performance so far (about 3 weeks in). The thermal carafe opening is large enough to easily reach inside to clean. The ability to use multiple different filter types and potentially make a 'pour over' single cup (although I don't have the necessary adapter). I have found that setting the filter type (Cone or basket) is important and makes a difference in the flavor/strength of the coffee. I've used with both paper and gold-mesh filters and have settled on the basket-style, gold-mesh filters for my daily use. I have not tried the "cold brew" configuration, and I'm unlikely to do that since it requires the water to sit in the filter basket for a very long time (unsure how exactly it works, the manual is not very good) So far, I'm very happy with it. I will probably continue to explore the settings and ratios to gauge how the flavor changes. But so far, my only complaint is that the manual could be better.

  • I used to drink good ol’ drip coffee for years but as I got older my stomach eventually let me know that it’s had enough. My friend suggested I try cold brew and since then my stomach has never been happier and I’ve never looked back. Up until recently I’d either buy cold brew from the store or the local coffee shop, but that got expensive quick, so I decided to try making cold brew at home. I’ve tried a couple of cold brew makers and the Barista is now by far my favorite. It’s easy to use, makes a copious amount of strong cold brew concentrate, and the container it filters into can be directly stored in the fridge with the lid, lasting for a whole week while staying fresh. I also bought one for the friend I mentioned, and he’s become a big barista cold brew fan as well. Some advice: NEVER dump the used coffee ground in the sink, as they can cause a buildup in your pipes.

The coffee maker that I bought for a gift for someone I found out that it was effective and after looking at the machine it was flimsy and cheap and there was some white paints smeared on the power cord. That clearly did not look like a $40.00 coffee maker. We tried to return it but it was out of coffeemakers.us.com 30 day return policy. I would not recommend this coffee maker to anyone.

Everything is perfect except the coffee won't drip completely into the karafe. I've tried different amounts of coffee grounds and even tried to hold the filter cup down with my fingers after the machine is finished but it still won't drain properly... making my morning coffee a VERY light :(

  • After getting tired of dealing with a dribbling carafe lid on our last two Mr. Coffee makers and our bulk coffee starting to get thin in flavor, we opted for this much more expensive Dual Keurig maker and a new brand of coffee. Our coffee intake had decreased from 6-8 cups per day to one for my wife and three for me. The plan for the new Keurig was for her to use K-cups and I'd brew enough in the carafe for my wants. Other than having to trial & error various K-cups coffees to find a flavor we liked - difficult at best because most were pretty strong/bitter compared to our 'usual' - the Keurig worked as advertised, making a tasty cup for her and me - once I got used to the bolder, but very smooth Peet's brand. I'm still working on that. Why Keurig? There are other brands at AMZ that have the same dual function and are highly rated, but a few friends & relatives have Keurigs and offer few negatives about them. Unfortunately, I do. If you're a neatnik and don't like having a messy coffee maker greeting you in the morning, this Keurig unit requires extra effort to clean. It's not just a case of rinsing the K-cup holder and filter basket. To do the job reasonably well, the thing must be disassembled (see photo), all of the component's nooks & crannies gotten into with a soapy brush, rinsed, towel-dried (I don't like water spots, so don't air dry) and reassembled. That's about a 5-minutes job for me. Since my breakfast only consists of toast & coffee, it's annoying to spend more time cleaning up than eating. Since it's just me and my wife, we rarely dirty enough dishes to use the dish washer more than once or twice/week, so handwashing is our only option. Although a different review should probably be posted, I included the two "load-your-own" K-cup holders in the photo to add the comment it's important to NOT overfill them with grounds. I also use a K-cup, paper filter with them. Too many grounds will result in a loose seal on the lid, allowing the grounds to overflow into the hard-to-reach areas where the K-cup basket and trough sit that lets coffee flow from the K-cup to the hole in the filter basket holder and into your cup. I noticed that today and spent an extra 10 minutes cleaning out the mess. I infrequently join my wife in a flavored K-cup (Chai Latte) and have found the machine will spit and sputter out around the bottom of the filter basket holder, adding to clean-up chores of the resulting splatter. We remove the filter basket before using K-cups - one more thing to clean up - and keep the stainless-steel carafe away from the unit or it will catch splatter too. What do I like about this unit? As mentioned, it makes a tasty cup of coffee, once you find a brand you like. We're probably over-filtered - whole house filter, water softener, fridge filter (for coffee water) and a filter in the unit's water-source-reservoir. It's fast - press the power button and the water begins to heat, easily making a K-cup in less than a minute. The K-cups, although 3 times more expensive than bulk coffee, are very convenient for only one or two cups. Being able to change position of the water reservoir allows an easy way to figure out the orientation of the unit on the counter. The stainless-steel carafe keeps coffee hot enough for me. I'll take about 45 minutes to drink three cups while tending to email, reviewing the calendar, and having toast. The third cup is not quite as hot as the first one but is still too hot to drink fast. I bought this as a late Christmas gift to myself. My last two Mr. Coffee drip machines cost about $65 each, but the poorly designed, dribbling carafe lids were a nuisance and I'd hoped this Keurig would eliminate that problem. I think I've moved from the frying pan into the fire re cleanup. I wonder if other styles of Keurig makers require so much cleanup between use?

This coffee maker seems like a fantastic idea. The instructions were awful and I definitely got a lemon on the first product I received. No matter how many times I cycled it, it wouldn't make coffee. It's also very hard to tell where this coffee maker is in the cycle of heating water and brewing. The seller was quick to respond and send a replacement. I got the replacement and was excited to try this yet again..... It ended up brewing, but the coffee was so weak it looked like iced tea. I wouldn't order this product again. I'm giving this 2 stars because the seller was very responsive, but otherwise I wouldn't recommend buying this.

  • I have been wanting to get one of these for a while. I first tried these from a coworker at work. I got this fancy one for home. It has a milk steamer and came with some sample capsules! I’m happy with it. It is shorter and smaller than I thought I was willing to risk the space but this is such a compact unit. I’m happy! ☕️

  • 1st purchase of this item chipped at the top of the French Press... I returned it and tried AGAIN with another Press. Fast Forward..... Today I was making coffee to take to work with me. I poured my hot water into the press, stirred it with the spoon (that came with it)... it then instantly burst at the bottom. Hot Coffee went on my counter, my floor and on ME!!! It burned my leg. I was late for work and had to change clothes. coffeemakers.us.com refunded me (despite being outside of my return window) which was great!!!! However, I felt it IMPORTANT to let others know of this default. CHEAP AND UNSAFE!

The coffee pot portion and the k cup portion work fine, as expected. That said, and we’ve had this machine for many months at this point, the Nespresso pod feature is not good. I buy Nespresso brand pods as I always have with my previous machines, and this machine makes it less frothy and most importantly, more than half the time, there are coffee grounds that come through. Like a lot of them (see picture). I wouldn’t buy it again.
