Update: 10/12/20: Buyer Beware - Digital Display ISSUE I'm now on the second CPO-800!! I love the coffeee it makes and the glass carafe is still great to pour out of and it still breaks easily. My issue ( A friend has the same machine and is on her second one as well) is a defect in the digital display. It gets dimmer and dimmer until the display just isn't legible anymore and dies Cuisinart will replace the machine once, however the replacement has no warranty on it . The replacement warranty is whatever may be left on the original machine. Really? Wow! Unacceptable for a nearly $200 coffee machine!!! My replacement CPO-800's display is nearly unreadable (again!). but I'm SOOL since the original warranty ended 15 days ago. Cuisinart obviously has an issue with this model , yet won't back up the product. They offer 20% off another coffee machine on their website..Whoooooppeee! Gee thanks! I have the original receipt, but too bad. Even though Cuisnart knows of this display defect, they could care less on customer satisfaction. AS if 20% off makes a big difference on another machine after I dropped nearly $200. Original Review: 2017: I'm very happy with this coffee maker and the great coffee it makes . I was a manager trainer with Starbucks for many years and I would recommend this machine for price, usability , and the pour over coffee taste. And yes, I make much better coffee at home than the drip coffee found at all these chains. The glass carafe is great to pour out of due to it being wide on the bottom and tapering up- well balanced. Others have gone into great detail about this machine, which I wholeheartedly agree with, however one issue that I have found to be troubling is the glass carafe breaks very easily. If it lightly taps against anything, it more than likely will crack whereas any of the other Cuisinart glass carafes are thicker and sturdier. I've had two easily crack already and my friend has the same machine with 2 breaking on her as well. Good luck trying to find a replacement glass carafe! If you do, it won't be in stock.

So, I've been using this coffee maker for a couple of months now. It's OK. Coffee tastes fine. I only have 4 observations to share with you all: 1) The coffee urn that comes with this only has the markings on ONE side of the pot. Meh. Small issue. PITA when filling it up depending on your sidedness. Minor. 2) The on/off button is on the side of the base. I find oddly positioned and even with two strong hands, I find I somtimes have to hold the coffee maker with 2 hands to turn it off. Don't burn yourself 3) It doesn't come with a rinseable reusable strainer. You have to buy filters 4) My BIGGEST gripe: no automatic turn-off feature. Safety-wise, this could be a deal-breaker for some. I actually liked the 4 cup Mr. Coffemaker better, button and functions, however, THAT coffee maker has its issues also. That is the reason why I decided to try this one. This is one is VERY BASIC. It's definitely NOT 5 stars, so, I always say, always read the 1 and 2 stars first and assume the 5-star raters got a freebie to leave 5 stars. There is no way this is 5 stars. Basic. Coffee tastes fine. Basic workmanship materials.

  • The Aleppo Cuisine Turkish coffee maker is in fact a multipurpose liquid heater that can be used to heat up water, milk. Coffee etc. It only one fixed heat settings. I have tried it to make hot milk for my coffee latte and made Turkish coffee. Pros: • With 800W power the heating is very fast and boiling starts in couple of minutes • Spacious and can make two regular sizes of coffee. • External body is cool to touch even when the liquid is boiling inside. • Easy to clean. • Looks nice on the kitchen counter. Cons: • Only one heat setting. It means that you must watch the pot constantly or it will overflow. The good Turkish coffee should come to near boil but don’t let it boil so the foam can form on top. With this pot it is difficult to keep the coffee from boiling and the only way I could do it just remove it from the base as soon as I see the bubble formed. This is a good electric pot but constant monitoring is required while using.

I really like this coffee pot for its simplicity. All I want to do is hit one button to turn it on. And this one sit that mold. However, if it only works for less than three months and it isn’t really worth it.

  • It worked great for all of 5 pots of coffee brewed at our campsite and then decided to spew coffee grounds and hot water out of the top and not brew anymore coffee. The first 2 pots brewed fine. The 3rd and 4th pots took an additional 10 minutes to brew and the 5th one only brewed 1/2 pot after 30 minutes of brewing. Then, it was no more. It's going to the coffee pot grave yard. Not worth the expense!!

Nothing fancy but does the job well easy to clean and the price is right

  • I like Cold Brew for the intense flavor. I was unhappy with the bulk of the Toddy brewer so I went searching for something better. I was unsure what I was looking for until I found this Caffeine Hub. It works similar to the Teavana Perfectea Maker. You place the tea maker on your mug and it pushes the bottom up to release the tea. I really like the ease of use, the compactness, and the ingenuity of this maker. Everything stores easily, too. It's a very clever design. I also really like the retro vibe it gives off. The directions say to use 8oz of coffee and 1300ml of cold water. The handy pitcher has markings on it so you can measure the water easily to pour into the brewer. I used Grady's, Cold Brew. It comes in an 8 oz can of 4 brewing bags. I like to use bags for easier cleaning all around. Left it in the fridge overnight and drained the concentrate into the pitcher. I like that you have to pull out the release valve in order to move it to the release or lock position. No accidental pours. With the 4 bags of Grady's Cold Brew and 1300ml of water, it made just under 32oz of concentrate. I have to say, it was the best cold brew I've made to date. I'm super happy with this purchase. It's so easy to use and nice to look at. I would definitely recommend trying one and I'd even hand them out as a gift!

  • I love the machine! I usually brew the espresso or regular cup and run a cycle of water through after.. similar to an americano. This seems to keep it clean. I also clean the brewing unit every time I empty the coffee grounds container, which ends up being about once a week. And, it’s very important to use beans that have minimal to no oils. It is a bit loud, but no louder then my standalone coffee bean grinder.

  • I used it few times and the handle part broke. I’m not sure how because I handled it carefully and only used few times.

  • After doing some googling, I saw that Braun has a reputation for top-notch and high quality coffee makers. I decided to give the Braun MultiServe Plus Drip coffee maker a go, and I am very happy I did! It is a good looking appliance, stylish, sturdy and well built. It has 7 programmed brewing sizes as follows: 5oz, 8oz, 12oz, 16oz, 20oz, half carafe (25oz) or full carafe (50oz). A full carafe holds five 10oz cups of coffee, which is pretty standard. It can brew an entire carafe "in less than 8 minutes," which I can verify is indeed true. I typically drink a 16oz mug of coffee every morning. Using the Gold option, my coffee comes out PERFECT. It tastes amazing, and the temperature is just right IMO (I have seen some reviews state it is not hot enough). It finished my 16oz mug in 3.5 minutes after hitting start. I have to note here, I wasn't specifically looking for a coffee maker that makes cold brew coffee, but now that I have one, I am thrilled! I love it. It makes cold brew in less than 15 minutes. This would take FOREVER doing it other ways, so in the past I have rarely made it myself. I think this might be new favorite thing about this coffee maker, frankly. I have already used this feature several times, and I've only had the coffee maker about a week. Though I usually prefer freshly ground beans, I am happy to report that it is fully programmable. Using the Auto on function, you can set the machine to brew coffee up to 24 hours in advance, which is definitely useful for those days you know you are going to be in a hurry the next morning. You can also change the amount of time it keeps the carefe warm after coffee is made, from 15 minutes all the way up to 4 hours. The warmer turns on automatically if you select a half or a full carafe. You can also turn it off/on manually. I tested out the auto program to see how easy it was, and it worked perfectly, and was very simple. Finally, it has a 3 year warranty coverage to ensure lasting performance. This definitely gives me confidence that, unlike my last coffee maker brand that broke a month after 1 year warranty ended, this coffee maker is going to last me long time! Companies don't offer 3 year warranties often, and when they do, it means the item is built to LAST. TLDR: I am enthusiastically satisfied with this coffee maker. It makes amazing coffee, easy and quick, has plenty of options, and is built to LAST. I have already recommended it to a few friends/family members.

  • The brewing cycle takes longer than most others, but you need much less coffee scoopes and that is a plus. Coffee is very hot and tastes better in my opinion than the most recognized coffee makers. Color wasn't exactly the same as the picture and I gave 4 stars because it looked tan. Mine looks like a peach color. So far I'm happy with the little pot. I have a lot of coffee makers and I'm always looking for the next new gimmick. I would recommend it.

  • Love this little machine, the water area is nice and wide for pouring water into and it’s clear plastic so you can see the water and it make great tasting coffee. And It’s 1/10 V. Makes one big 18 oz mug coffee or 2 small 9 Oz cups. Love their big coffee 10 cup maker too !!! Very easy to clean

This device makes perfect cold brew! Very concentrated, and very good tasting. I had previously purchased a very slow drip cold brew system that was a complete failure, which I returned. I highly recommend the OXO System!

  • I bought this based on the recommendation of a paper listed as one of the based under $15 prime deal. The first one arrived with the jar cracked. This one the rubber band partially detached when I tried to remove the top to watch it to get ready for use. I didn’t want to return it again as I’ve returned the first one plus it’s still usable just the top doesn’t seal completely. I guess you get what you pay for! I won’t recommend it.
