  • I was looking for a way to make my coffee without all of the plastics inside coffeemakers. This works so well. I use an electric kettle and my morning coffee is all the richer for using this !

I'm kind of shocked by the bad reviews. I'm not a coffee expert though..and I'm I like simple machines so maybe I'm just easily impressed but here's my review. I'm most excited about the fact that this carafe doesn't dribble! My old coffee pots always dribbled when I would pour out of the pot. This one pours exactly where I pour it. No coffee down the side of my cup or water on my counter tops!! The coffee brews fairly fast and tastes great. It also brews at a hotter temperature than my old ones which is great!! Maybe mine were just way too old. It's easy to empty the coffee grounds and just has a simple on/off switch which is what I wanted. I'm only 25 years old but I didn't want a programmable latte foam expresso bean grinding mess. Just wanted this machine to brew coffee and it does exactly that! Just a few notes. The longer you leave it on the hotter the coffee gets. I've burnt my mouth after going back for a second cup after like 45 mins. The coffee wasn't scorched tasting but definitely hot. So be careful. I have not had any problems with the spring but I read other people did. Also this coffee maker is so pretty. Glossy clean round pretty machine. I also like that the light is green and not red when it's turned on lol. I love it. ***UPDATE It's been about 5 months of everyday use and now when I fill it to 8 cups it only brews 5 or 6 cups and the coffee ends up being too strong now. Rather bummed out so I took my rating from 5 down to 4 stars ••BUT•• if you use distilled water or have a water softener machine in your house I don’t think this will happen to you. We have really hard water and the mineral buildup clogged this coffee maker. If you descale is regularly which I didn’t, you should be fine. I bought another and have softened my water.

This is a nice coffee maker. It works and fits perfectly in my office for daily use. It’s easy to use, easy to program and the settings are self explanatory. It has a nice built in filter basket and a nice carafe that accompanies the unit. It has multiple brewing options, including regular, bold, over ice and a quick brew setting. Although, I have not needed to try the quick brew setting yet lol the others are quite nice. The bold setting yields slightly less fl oz of coffee but, the bold brew setting provides more bold and rich taste in my coffee which is helpful for those longer tough days. The regular drip coffee is as expected while the over ice setting is a really nice additional feature. The over ice setting does require the use of the carafe. It is not a setting that can be used as a single serve and a regular cup as the warm brew over ice would cause the glass to brew if brewed in anything other that the carafe provided with the coffee maker. I live in a warmer climate so I find this setting very useful on the hot summer days. This coffee maker does provide a full 12 cup carafe and heating unit has auto shit off, which is awesome and makes it great for serving multiple people in the office. This coffee maker is easy to clean. The white and grey color scheme is aesthetically pleasing and would fit nicely into any kitchen, office, or break room. Overall I am very happy with this coffee maker. This is my first product by Braun brand and I am very happy with it! Would definitely recommend it as it’s not your average run of the mill coffee maker. It provides nice features, delicious coffee and easy to use setting that appreciate and enjoy.

  • Does coffee maker K with two adapters and a reusable capsule. It also did work with the K cups that I already had. There was no problem with any water flowing over. It’s really slim and compact. I think it’s best feature is the fact that you get five different cup sizes that you from 6, 8,, 10, 12 or 14 ounce. That’s really awesome. My Keurig is only three different sizes. You can remove the drip tray for your travel mug but if you have a big Stanley, it’s not gonna fit When reading the pamphlet, it says there’s a two year guarantee. That’s a lot better than what Keurig has to offer. I’m very impressed with this machine the water heated up quickly and distributed evenly

Love it! Love it! Love it! Looks wonderful in my newly remodeled kitchen! Makes marvelous coffee! I suggest you buy the water filter from the company so your water doesn't ruin the coffee maker. Everyone who comes into the kitchen love its look! Would buy again. Easy to operate. Suggest you have it professionally installed.

  • I've had this for less than a month. Use it once per day to make a carafe of coffee. We don't have a dishwasher. The lid came apart. It was very cheaply glued.****Update: now, the mesh in the cone filter is separating and coming apart. I was reluctant to return this, because the design is so good, it's just the construction is junk.

Received with noted damage on box. After opening, the glass coffee carafe was shattered, glass shards everywhere and some scratches on the main component. Kept the coffee maker, did not return, and used an extra carafe we already had.

  • The set looks really good can’t wait to use it tomorrow.

  • I rarely review things we buy, but this coffee maker is insanely good. It replaced a Cuisinart Grind N Brew that died after a number years. This Black+Decker model's grinding mechanism is contained in the filter basket (vs a separate grinding container,) so you have half as many items to clean after every brew. Spending 3 minutes a day cleaning my automatic coffee maker is certainly a first world problem, but it is nice to not have to do it now. The grinding mechanism is also substantially quieter; perhaps half as loud as the Cuisinart. I would say the Black+Decker is louder than a dishwasher when grinding, but not by a lot. I think the machine looks good and is logical to use. It's mostly plastic and very light, but for every ounce of mass it gives up to heavier materials, it makes up for in good engineering. It's clear that the design and R&D teams spent a lot of time on this product. And lastly, the biggest surprise of all is that it brews the strongest, best cup of coffee I can remember enjoying. I don't have a great explanation for this. Other than the grinds staying where they are ground as opposed to being dumped into the filter basket after being ground, the beans are treated basically the same as in the Cuisinart. The filter basket on the Black+Decker is deeper and smaller diameter, so maybe the water traveling through a deeper bed of beans has something to do with it. Anyway, very happy with this machine, especially considering the price. I almost want to buy another one just to keep around as a spare.

As you can see in the picture the coffee maker was damaged in the warehouse because the shipping box was in perfect condition. I can't believe someone would drop the box then pack it to be shipped especially at Christmas. So not impressed , very disappointed. I bought this for my coworkers and now we are unable to use it !!!!!!!

Our espresso machine broke down after five years. This makes the coffee taste so good and strong. It is better than a French press.

  • What’s not to love about this really gorgeous cobalt blue glass French Press kit and matching glasses? Unboxing felt like Christmas. I just gasped when I saw the blue double wall glass pitcher and stemless glasses. Much prettier in person than in the ad and I couldn’t wait to test it out! The pitcher can brew up to 12 oz, which is more than enough for two people and there is a small dot indicating 6 oz for measuring a smaller brew. The press has a double stainless steel permanent filter and the box also included two replacement fine-mesh stainless steel filters. The top and press lever were both coated for shipping and underneath was the most gleaming polished stainless. The top has a strainer edge for pouring and everything fits together into the glass pitcher perfectly. The glasses hold 3oz each and are a nice espresso size. I found the instructions on the box simple and easy to follow. I enjoyed the coffee this press delivered and felt the quality seemed somehow better when brewed in the manner. I can hardly wait to make coffee for a friend and pull this set out to impress them with its beautiful simplicity and stunning cobalt blue glass. Cleaning the pitcher, filter/press and glasses was very easy and because of the small size is also very easy to store away. I think this would make such a delightful gift and although a little pricey, it is really unique and special.

I was an early adopter if a traditional drip machine + kcup brewer about 4 years ago and could find few options. That one died and I found this one. Loved previous Cuisinart brewers for their functionality and final product. I am blown away by this new multi brewer. 1. Super easy unboxing and easy quick guide set up. 2. Love having the filters to remove any tastes from the water, preventing me from using other than tap water 3. Brewing is relatively quiet but the alert beeps may be just a bit too loud but could be used as a wake up alarm 😉 4. Holy crap! The single serve side is the fastest I have seen. Hot, perfect temp coffee and with the strength selectors made for easy brewing of all my favorite types of KCups. 5. Love the warmer! This works well with an older stainless carafe if mine but I would love to get a carafe of the same metal color this brewer was in … praying to the Cuisinart Gods 😉 Excellent device and I’m looking forward to using it for a long time.

  • Simple and functional, very little cleaning required. Made video how I use it in a van posted on YT. Search “How I make coffee in a van “
