  • I couldn't have imagined a better way to make coffee on the go! I was just on the hunt for a home pour over set when I stumbled across this magnificent invention!!! I travel for a living, daily, as a flight attendant and coffee is essential. I fell in love with pour over coffee for its smooth taste but when traveling it is hard to find. When I do find it I'm really excited but often told "we are out"... um... okay? Hot water and ground coffee.... Now I no longer have to worry and can make it with my favorite fresh ground coffee on the go!!! I never have to worry about horrible tasting hotel coffee or "being out of pour over" because someone doesn't want to make it. Highly recommend to coffee drinkers in your home, on the go, or camping! Love this cup.

Look, I’ve had plenty of amazing espresso from high end baristas. This is not going to get you one of those pulls. But does it make a single or double shot of espresso? Yep. Does it make a decent crema? Yep. Does it do an auto cappuccino or latte? Yes. Does it do those to coffee shop quality? Not really. Also the cleaning process if you want to put milk in the tank is a real pain, so personally I’m not likely to use that very often unless we have guests. But for the money and for how relatively small the whole unit is, I’m surprisingly impressed. Simple espressos, affogatos, iced lattes, espresso tonics for relatively cheap? I’ll take it.

Love the coffee maker, however the carafe is cheaply made. The glass and handle are thin, and the metal band will leave a rust ring around the carafe. Not much thought or care was given with it's design and not surprised that it is excluded from the warranty. I expected more given its price tag.

I've only had this coffee maker for a few weeks, but I can say without a doubt that I love it! I was hesitant to spend $40, but in comparison to the coffee maker I had before this one (different brand and was comparable in price but had all sorts of issues), this one is close to perfect. It is easy to clean, easy to fill, brews very nicely and doesn't blow the grounds out of the filter while brewing. The grounds stay where they should! I haven't tried all the features yet, so I cannot say if they work as they should. But so far the regular brew cycle works great, the coffee tastes great, and I don't get a mouth full of grounds while drinking a cup of coffee! No complaints so far!

Braun had always had a good reputation but this coffee maker is a disappointment. I bought it in October 2021 and within 6 months, a small spot starting forming on the heating element. I don't think there was anything I had done to cause it because I was always careful to clean it gently with a slightly damp sponge or paper towel, never with chemical clearners, and never scrubbed it. The spot wouldn't rub off and grew bigger over time. Then, the outer black layer just peeling off to the point in my photos, taken about 14 months after purchase and 1st use. Now, half of the heating element is corroded. The melted black material has burned itself onto the bottom of the carafe, and scrubbing with a non-scratch sponge and dishwashing soap or soaking doesn't remove it. At this point, I don't know if this is a fire hazard. I decided to share this review with you to save you the grief of buying it. Also, if it catches on fire, I'll have documentation of the event. Today the automatic start timer stopped working.

Received as a Christmas gift from my husband. I charged it while I was out shopping came home to try it. I tried all 3 options and it never dispersed. Even my husband tried. Same thing happened nothing! It heated but that was it. I was so looking forward to using this. I can drink coffee all day and the coffee at work is gross.

My wife and I had a Braun drip coffee maker for many years, so we knew Braun was a name we could trust when we ordered this one to test. We were right! The Braun PureFlavor Coffee Maker is even a much improved machine from the one we had. First of all, it has a larger capacity, so it can make up to 14 cups of coffee. It comes with an optional water filter, and we can clearly see how many cups of water we add on the side window. It comes with a scoop too, that we used to measure the coffee on a one scoop per cup basis - easy! The brewer has different brewing settings, which includes fast, regular, bold, and over (ice), so we can brew our coffee exactly to what we want and need. It is very easy to set-up too, with the clear illustrated instructions included. Once the clock is set, we could set the auto-on, auto-off, and the ready beep alarm. The carafe and reusable filter are dishwasher safe, so it’s very convenient. Plus, it’s got a clean program setting, which is essential, in order to prolong the life of your machine. Water can have minerals in it that can clog and ruin the mechanism of a machine if not properly cleaned regularly. Finally, the price is right, for a coffee maker of this quality and with the latter features. For all these reasons, my wife and I would HIGHLY recommend the new Braun PureFlavor coffee brewer, so we gave it 5 stars!

  • I wanted to upgrade my cold brew maker to a larger size and this one worked out great, however, the seal broke after the very first use. I wanted to give it another shot, but turns out it is not eligible for returns!

Look, most of us are half-asleep when we're making the first pot of the day (or, in my case, the only pot), so we need the coffeemaker to be simple and quick. The rectangular water tank lid is detached and sometimes makes for clumsy fumbling while trying to replace it after a fill. The coffee basket lid, also detached, while round and easy to use, is made of a material that turns white where the heated water comes in contact with it (see pics). Another detached piece, the carafe platform, disconnects itself from the unit when trying to slide the whole thing across your countertop. Perhaps worst of all, none of the pieces may be cleaned in a dishwasher. For $300+ I expect a better design, materials that don't discolor from normal use and the ability to make my daily pot quickly and without the anxiety of fumbling with plastic parts. I gave this thing 2 years before I wrote about it--I think I've given it a fair amount of time before I made a judgment. In short, I do not recommend at all until design elements are refined, materials don't discolor and washable parts may be cleaned in a dishwasher. Technivorm should worry less about product placement on a popular TV show (Will & Grace) and more on R&D.

  • I liked this product but unfortunately it lasted shorter than half a year. It fell apart itself. I don’t know if it is that wood doesn’t do well with moist or maybe it was the heat from the dishwasher.

  • This is the worst coffee maker I have ever owned. Within two months the electronic functionality has failed and I cannot use to tim feature or the auto brew feature. Customer support will not respond back to me. I will never purchase another braun product again.

  • I like that this TUNI E2 Espresso Machine has a 58 mm Porta Filter and the pump it uses. I hobby of rebuilding Italian made super-autos like seen in the first photo I attached, it's one of several I have and with a single button push it grinds then puts out a very tasty lungo. It also uses a premium Italian made Ulka pump. I choose this manual espresso maker to see if I can pull a quality shot. I liked that I could get the water temp up to proper temperature but it's inconsistent. The pressure gauge works well and I pulled some good shots. The thing is you do need to know what you are doing. Grind setting, type of coffee, when it was ground can all dramatically impact a shot. I wanted to try other screens and porta-filters but while it's a standard 58 mm it appears to me it is proprietary and therefore limiting what I can achieve. The other thing about manual espresso makers is a good burr grinder is a must and that will cost. Pre-ground espresso if you select just the right one may work but its results will change quickly days after opening and if not just the correct selection you are waiting until its used up before more trial and error. This machine looks nice and well made but has a bit more plastic content to the exterior housing than I prefer. It has heft to it and suction cups help hold it down but supporting the top with downward pressure is required while locking in the porta-filter. The color and size of the machine is nice. As far as ease of use I prefer my super-autos but the cost of each is 10 times more. That said, my super-autos have very good built in grinders and no mess so for me the ease of use is far superior and after numerous adjustments are dialed it the consistency is every cup with slight bump to grind settings. In close as seen in the photos I attached I extracted some nice shots with a good body and rich crema and when temp and correct pressure along time of extraction it has the flavor, taste we enjoy in espresso but its tricky.

This French coffee press is so functional. It makes my coffee taste amazing. And it's a beautiful product. It's also the perfect size. Not too big, and perfect for traveling. I'm so happy I got it. You should definitely buy it.

  • It was an ok coffee maker. I liked the dual functionality which is the selling point but the quality is terrible. It left coffee grounds in the pot when making a big pot and broke after a year and a half of very little use. very expensive for bad quality appliance but worst of all is the warranty and customer support. 1 year warranty and support is the WORST I have ever dealt with. DO NOT BUY.

If you plan to replace your Bodum Brazil's beaker, it could be done, but be aware that it may have a very snug fit. It is typically necessary to heat Bodum Brazil’s plastic handle and base in hot water to expand and soften them before attempting to insert any replacement beaker. Unlike other replacement beakers from different manufacturers that may have a bit of room for adjustment before the plastic handle and base cool and secure the glass beaker, this beaker from Fino in particular, is known for being a particularly tight fit and can be difficult to insert. The tightness of the fit can also cause concern that the pressure could potentially break the glass beaker.
