The Handel already broke. Only one user and less than 60 days. Not very pleased with the quality.

The Cuisinart DCC-3400P1 coffee maker has the basics of what I need in a drip brewer. Clean lines, attractive black & stainless design, 12-cup capacity, portable carafe that keeps coffee hot and doesn't break on stone surfaces. However, the design has two downsides (or flaws) that should be considered before purchasing. The first you'll notice is that the reservoir is clumsy to access. You have to lift the lid (which only flips back to a 45 degree angle). This means it doesn't fit under most above-counter cabinets while filling. Next, the narrow reservoir opening is in the back which makes it difficult to use the large carafe to fill it. It bumps up against the reservoir lid. The carafe is sturdy and keeps the brew hot, but the small opening in the pot makes it difficult to clean and restricts the pour. I consistently have about a cup of coffee at the bottom of the pot because you have to turn the thing upside down to get all the liquid out. It's wasteful at best. The reservoir lid should be removable for better access and the opening in the pot should be a tad larger for cleaning and pouring ease. We've had this brewer for only about a week now. The first one was delivered damaged, but the replacement was easy and quick. So far, we like the coffee's taste, the length of time it stays hot, and the sturdy pot. We use a narrow-topped pitcher to fill the reservoir and bought a long-handled brush to clean the pot. We're making it work, but honestly, it's a little annoying. UPDATE: Beware. This brewer puts off a lot of steam! I found the bottom of my above-counter cabinet was soaking wet after a brew. The steam also moistened the spices in the cabinet. I now keep the brewer on a placemat to slide it out from under the cabinet when it’s brewing.

It's a great looking press but as other reviewers have mentioned the glass is poor quality. The press lasted a little over a year. One morning the glass just cracked when I added the hot water. You'd think for the price they wouldn't compromise on the quality of the glass.

  • After 2 months the clock fogged over, after 3 months it started making our coffee so hot (sporadically) that our coffee would taste burnt, right about that same time it started beeping for no particular reason and the chrome started to warp. 5 months after purchase it stopped working entirely. Prior to this purchase, I bought another mr. Coffee at Costco which also stopped working 2 months. I've always relied on the brand since the coffee maker I had before these last two was a Mr. Coffee and it lasted close to 7 years. Looks like it's time to find a new brand.

We like it, I ordered this as a gift for my husband he loves it

  • This convenient pour-over coffee brewer is a great deal at $12, although it's not perfect of course. It has a removable metal filter (which I accidentally removed while popping the filter funnel up for brewing). You can use it as-is or use a paper filter in addition. I prefer the paper filter based on my experiment. I took about 15 grams of espresso roast coffee (ground in my Kitchenaid half pound burr grinder at setting 6, as I use with my Hario V60 pourover). Went with a 16:1 ratio with 240 grams of water. Brewing with just the metal filter was slow. I was able to do an initial ~50g bloom and let it pretty much sit for a minute. I poured additional water in and stirred it until I'd given it 240g of water. After a total of about 7-8 minutes I gave up and took the funnel off. I used a standard 8-12 cup paper filter in my second round, with the same coffee and water measures. The bloom was faster to drain, and the entire draw-down took about 2 minutes and 10 seconds. The paper filter brew was slightly lighter in color, and I felt I could taste a tiny difference between them. I might not have noticed if I didn't know one was paper and one was not, and my partner couldn't tell the difference except that one was hotter than the other. For future use, I'm likely to use a 1-2 cup paper filter and a slightly coarser ground coffee. But I have to say the 2 minute draw-down brew was quite acceptable, so if I decide to use it at home I won't bother re-grinding to a different coarseness. And another experiment I'll try soon is to brew some cacao in the filter. I think I will do better without the filter for this, as I'd want a bit of steeping but also want the simplicity. In general it's a good deal and a convenient device for travel, whether you bring your own coffee or not.

  • I really liked this press and bought a second one because the lid on the first one split in half. I was extra careful with the second one to not let it get too wet when washing, but it still split in half! This is a major design flaw that makes the press not worth buying. Now I'm off to buy a third press somewhere else.

Good size for 1-2 people, doesn’t take up much space in fridge, durable… Will buy others as gifts.

It's so easy to use, and the finished product is great. I initially tried the Instant brand one and the coffee was so cloudy still. Then bottle with less in it is from this model. So much better

  • I made the mistake of ordering a travel French Press recently that was so tiny it only made enough for 1 cup of coffee. This press, thankfully, is adequately big enough to make at least 2 cups, so my husband and I can now have decent coffee at the same time while we're traveling. I like the sturdy design of the BERTILLE. It's streamlined and easy to clean. It presses with enough resistance, and the mesh keeps the coffee grounds inside the press. I also like that the top has a little arrow printed where you need to align it to pour properly. It's more efficient than lifting up the press to look, especially if you have carpel tunnel or difficulties with heavier objects. It comes with an extra mesh round, which is convenient. My only improvement would be to give the wood handle and knob a better coat of sealer. Over time, I know the wood is going to dull and possibly crack. I'm going to seal it myself, to avert that outcome later. All told, a nice french press.

I got this product to have a pour over coffee maker that I could completely clean and dry so that the coffee would taste as fresh as possible. I'm glad I bought this! Simple and elegant, it works exactly as designed, and I cleaned and dried it while my coffee was cooling. Great product and fantastic price. It consists of 3 pieces - stainless steel filter, double walled borosilicate glass container, and bamboo wood stand. I will be using it every day.

This coffee maker is excellent. It is very easy to use. There are options of just making one cup of different sizes or making a half or whole pitcher. I do find I have to put in more water than I need to make whatever size I choose. Like if I want a half pitcher, I have to pretty much put 3/4 to a whole pitcher of water in. The basket for the filter is easy to remove and clean. There is also a charcoal filter in the water container. The coffee maker comes with a scoop, which is nice to have. I am finding I like this coffee maker a lot more than my keurig even.

I got this Bincoo Pour Over Coffee Maker Set with Dripper, 400ml Glass Coffee Server Set, Ceramics Coffee Dripper with Wood Stand and Filter because now that my kids are grown and out of the house it's just me and I am not going to make a whole pot of coffee for myself, I don't drink that much. However, I do like having my coffee, but it's a waste to make a whole pot. So, I won't always have a coffee or I'll run down to the store and get one. Not anymore! This kit came with everything that you need to make your coffee except for the coffee. So literally you put it on top, add your coffee & filter and pour hot water over it. Then you're in like Flynn. And it makes a good cup of coffee too! I am super glad that I got this. Now I can have my two cups of coffee I enjoy every morning and I don't have to go to the store and pay for it. That's awesome!
