It appears to be good quality, but there is no way that this will make 4-5 cups. I would say that 2 cups is more realistic

The machine's generally great. Simple. Quiet. Brews at the right temp. All that jazz. But the carafe! Oy vey it's terrible. The worst part of the bad carafe design is that the plastic top section traps liquid in the carafe, so you can a) never pour out all the coffee and b) never drip-dry it completely (I use a towel to sop up the last bit). Who thunk that up? Anyway, I have a SOLUTION to the BAD CARAFE DESIGN: The Adorever Milk Frothing Pitcher, 32oz: https://tinyurl.com/bdcnfj9t Other similar ones (like the Zowie King) are just 0.2 in too high to fit. But this one fits perfect. And brews the max amount of water too. So ditch the carafe & get a 32 oz/900ml 5.2in Adorever milk frothing pitcher.

Box was busted and glass was scratched up, but the contents seem intact.

  • I really enjoy cold coffee year round. We already had a smaller County Line cold brew mason jar, so we decided to go with this larger version. I didn't realize how big it was until it showed up. It easily gets me through the week. One thing I was worried about when I first filled it up is the plastic handle. I wasn't sure it was going to hold up to the weight of the glass jar plus the coffee and water. However, it is very sturdy. It doesn't flex at all when the jar is full. And it screws on very snuggly, so there's no worrying if anything will leak out when pouring. The lid on the pour spout also closes tightly, so no worries about anything getting out unless you want it to. If we had a need for more cold brew for the week, we'd definitely pick up another one.

  • Edited to add: I contacted the manufacturer directly and they were extremely friendly & helpful. They sent me a replacement which I really appreciate.. ********* I loved it, but it is extremely lightly made and didn't hold up. I'm the only one that uses it and am very careful with handling. Not pleased some of the Tiny wires around the top had sloghed off, I'm hoping I didn't ingest them in my drinks. I'd like to get it replaced, but it's just past the return window. Not sure if it is an occasional manufacturing mistake or they are all like this. But be aware, they may not last as long as you'd think for the price. And again, I'm concerned about the dislodged tiny wire fragments.

    1. ah ready to pour your coffee and make a mess. The carafe has an internal lip that makes pouring all the coffee into your cup impossible without spilling. We have used Jura-Capresso for years and loved the machines. This one has so many design flaws. 2. No external water gauge, we are old, add water, turn around, forget, add more, surprise! 3. One prominent plastic lever that controls pouring and opening the lid. Way to easy to break off! 4. To add fresh grounds you must remove the carafe completely. 5. The water reservoir has a hole near the top maybe as overflow protection, but I can imagine thirsty water seeking critters using it.

i like the design and the side small 12 cups coffee maker ....but is made with cheap weak plastic and is an unnecessary amount of moving parts made with cheap weak plastic , no practical at all I really want to like it looks good and is prefect for my small apartment but i don't thick is going to work

  • I have had this for over a month now. It is super easily to use and quick. I suggest using an easy pour measuring cup to put your water in, because if I try to pour water from a mug inevitably some will dribble out on the counter. The cup space is short; even my half sized travel mug doesn't fit. So I just use a regular mug and then pour into a travel mug (over the sink). Regular K cups fit, and two reusable cups come with it. I think it is definitely worth it. I have used the reservoir kuerigs before, but I think that little bit of extra convenience isn't worth an extra $100. It's not hard to put fresh water in with each cup. (Also maybe more sanitary). I love my little coffeemaker.

  • This FlexBrew Advanced 5-in-1 coffee coffee maker is what I call an upgrade! It is sleek, has a smaller profile, easy to operate & the coffee tastes great. It actually slows down/stops while brewing to soak-in the coffee grounds! Something I did manually when making coffee. The style threw us right into the 22nd Century lol 😁 maybe with a remote control and a coffee reservoir 😱 Another upgrade is that the Pod side pin does not collect as much coffee grounds because when I ran a clear water cycle after making coffee, there were no grounds in the mug. The only downgrade is that the drip tray no longer houses the reusable coffee filter but I now store it in the brew basket where it sits/stores perfectly well. WATER RESERVOIR CHANGE: To reposition the Reservoir base is very easy but the visual screws will throw you off guard completely. Thanks to the coffeemakers.us.com Hamilton customers that answered my questions. DO NOT REMOVE THE SCREWS! just pull up and move over. It's tight but does move, be careful not to pull apart from the water supply line. (follow the guide instructions) NO TOOL IS NEEDED.

A nice replacement for the original Pyrex we've had since 1976. Nice but not the same. 😥 POI for all those complaining about breakage...this is thicker hand blown regular glass. NOT the Pyrex glass that lasted for 42yrs. Be careful...Nuff said.👍

  • Coffee is great, but I wish I’d bought the stainless model. The black finish started to come off almost immediately, and this is what it looks like after a year of normal use. *edited* But great customer service. Replaced the item after I made them aware of the issue.

Update: In less than 2 years the bottom is completely rusted out and no longer keeping the coffee hot. I was really good about keeping it dry too, this seems to be the thing with coffee makers now. My friend has one from the 70's and the warming plate is pristine and they definitely don't take care of it like I coddle mine. Previously: It's an auto-drip, what can one really expect? My problem with this particular model is I am afraid of the potential fire hazard. The warming plate is not sufficiently sealed to the frame and sinks in a bit creating a noticeable space. I am posting two pictures because I received two of these coffee makers with the same issue. The first coffee maker I received I returned, because it was unevenly sunk, it was noticeable immediately upon opening and did not seem right. The second coffee maker I received as a replacement is sunk the entire way around but I'm keeping it because I freaking need a coffee maker and this shouldn't be so hard! Hopefully from the pictures you can make out that weird silver/white around the edge of the warming plate. This space concerns me because it is small enough that I have no idea how I could keep that little space clean, but it is large enough that dust, crumbs, grinds, etc., will collect in that space right on top of the warming plate. It already caught a hold of the paper towel I was wiping it down with and I had to pick it out. My fingernail fit all the way back there so it's at least a quarter of an inch deep while only being millimeters high. I also don't think the space is supposed to be there since the first one I got was only partially sunk and the rest seemed sufficiently closed/sealed. If I only got the second one I might have thought it was poor design. I mean I knew I was getting a cheap coffee maker but I've never been afraid of the potential fire hazard in one of these things. If I don't keep the warming plate bone dry is water going to get into the base? Next time I will buy one of these in an actual store, and it may be sooner than expected unfortunately. Only time and use will tell how nervous this defect makes me, for now my eyebrows will remain raised.

I bought one of these back in 2020 and loved the quality of coffee, then it died within days of the warranty expiring...and tossed it in the trash. Then I saw the same machine on a sale price and after I saw that an extended warranty was available I purchased my now 2nd machine. Days after the return window closed in August, the pods stop ejecting and as you can see in my photo, the pod holder is stuck in the down position. I got in touch with De'Longhi support and after several emails back and forth, they refer me to Nespresso support. I asked them, wouldn't it have just been easier to refer me to Nespresso support in the first place rather than have me take photos and go back and forth? So I get in touch with Nespresso support and they....eh hem....have me get on a Video Call for 45 minutes...might have been longer, and they have me brew cup after cup...and try various things. They told me I needed to descale the machine, being that the descaling light was "on". I didn't disagree, but I asked them why they thought the spring at the bottom of the pod holder had anything to do with descaling. So, I purchased a "Nespresso descaling" kit just avoid finger pointing or accusations that I went off-brand with my descaling efforts. The descaling warning light did turn off, but the pod holder and ejection remained as it was. Then the descaling light turned back on. Then after I descale the machine "two times", I call Nespresso support again. They have me back on a Video call again, and have me descaling again, this time with water. The support guy subtly accused me of not descaling. After 45 minutes on this time sucking Video call, the descaling light turned off, just like it had for me when I descaled the machine, but later turned on again. I informed the support guy that this had happened before where the descaling light turned off briefly, but had turned back on shortly after. Then....support informs me that I will need to return the machine for repair. After 1.5 hours of Video call support, I get to return the machine for repair. He informs me that this will take 2 weeks. So I asked if Nespresso cross-ships (with credit card) a working machine and I return the malfunctioning machine? His answer, "No, Nespresso doesn't do that". My summary: People, if you must have a Nespresso machine, don't buy this version with automatic ejecting, because it definitely will malfunction, it's just a matter of time. And the extended warranty offered here doesn't kick in until the manufacturer's warranty expires in 1 year. Nespresso has wonderful coffee, but their machines and support are need of refinement. I believe I will go for a more high end espresso machine next go around. arrrrggghhhh....

  • Got this as a home coffee maker and couldn't be happier. Perfect coffee extremely fast, just like ordering coffee at the dinner. Also got the metal funnel and striped all the warning labeles, and remeved and reatached the serial number sticker to the back side of the front plate after removing the screws, to give it a less restaurant look. Think I'll probably get the stainless insulated carafe next to finish it off.

  • This is a nice little iced coffee system! Has a metal filter for coffee and plastic strainer for tea bags or maybe coffee pods? The container is made of high quality plastic. I prefer iced coffee so this was an awesome find for me! Love it.
