Every time you pour from the pot (no matter how full or empty) it leaks on the counter. It is a design defect with the lid. Coffee comes out of the gap between the lid and carafe (even if you hold the lid tight with your hand). Extremely frustrating!! Need to wipe a small pool of coffee from the counter after every pour...or just preemptively lay out paper towels. Not cool after spending so much on a coffee maker!
Boiling water on a tiny pocket stove and making espresso in the woods is AWESOME. This thing is great. Make sure to screw the portafilter on tight enough to pierce the nespresso pod, but dont crank it so tight like your life depends on it. I learned the hard way and had a heck of a time trying to get it unscrewed
It doesn't brew more then two cups at a time. Picture above shows I programed it to brew 6 cups...only brewed 2 n I had to continue to push the brew button in order to get a decent pot of coffee. It doesn't deserve one star, but they make you choose in order to submit your review.
I love this machine! I had been looking for a decent single serve solution that did not use pods and happened to stumble upon this product. I am glad I did! It is easy to use and puts out a good cup of coffee. The milk frother was a bonus to me but I am pleased with how easy it is to use. It froths oat milk and almond milk just as well as cow's milk. I couldn't be more pleased. my morning coffee routing feels elevated thanks to this machine.

This coffee maker is very easy to use. Small size, perfect for my room. Just one button to make coffee. Fast and easy to clean. Good price. If you want simple coffee maker, buy this one! Makes good coffee every time.
The machine works fine, but it does take longer than my previous Keurig maker. The buttons aren't as sensitive and need more pushing to get it to work. The water seems to take longer to warm up. And the overall brew time does take a bit longer. The water tank is easy to fill and clean, which is definitely a plus over most of the Keurig makers I've used in the past. The coffee comes out fine and I haven't complaints about that. Overall, I like how small and compact it is, it looks nice where I have, and it does the job I need it to do it. I would recommend it.
Perfect in pink! I love it!
This would be such a great cold brew if the lid would lock I don’t know if I got a defective lid but you can only screw it on one 3/4 of a turn and then the lid to the pouring spout has several nicks in it, and will not lock into place so it’s easily spillable. I might just get a different Lid for this and hope it works on his because it’s really cute in the Stainless Steel strainer in the middle is nice
I sometimes buy a cup of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Dark Magic at the local convenience store, so I purchased some of the same to try out with my new Keurig, for example. No comparison! The store keeps their coffee equipment super clean, and the coffee is never stale, but the Dark Magic there always tasted very strong. Brewing Dark Magic at home in my Keurig...no comparison. The taste is outstanding! I purchased the model that brews up to a 12 oz cup of coffee or tea or hot chocolate and has an auto-off function after 2 hours. Very handy when I'm rushing to get out the door for work. It holds enough water for 5 cups of 12 oz servings. I won't be paying $2.60 for a cup of coffee every morning ($72.80/month) at the store any longer. This new setup will save me money in the long run.
Generally a good coffee maker. A bit slow in the brewing cycle. It should have come with rubber feet as it slides around when preparing.
I love this machine! I have had it for a month and it is amazing. Make sure you read all the directions, it requires daily maintenance. You have to clean the milk frother components daily but it’s totally worth it. The only thing I wish is that they included a milk pitcher and also since I’m meticulous instructions for every single symbol. But other than that it is like having a personalized barista. I’ve bought syrups and I’m living my best life! Do yourself a favor and buy it but read the instructions first! ❤️
LIKES Aesthetics: It is a nice looking machine, as expected from Braun. Brew: I do like the quality of the coffee it brews, and the removable water container, which I can carry to the water dispenser to fill. DISLIKES Clock: The LCD readout that started losing legibility. The readout is progressively getting worse. It started failing only a few months after I bought it. it is now impossible to set the time to use the Auto-brew feature. Bad seals or gasket design: Since the machine can brew directly into a cup or glass, the are is no auto-shutoff to pour while brewing. There is a shutoff lever that has to be manually deployed, and it does not seal properly. The coffee continues to drip onto the heat platter, only at a reduced rate. Noisy: The Ready beep is very loud. I find it unnecessary. I've brewed coffee for decades without it. And, it does not stop dripping after the beep anyway, so the alert is irrelevant. Pricey: It is expensive. It is too complicated resulting in unexpected problems. Bring back the Aromaster. UPDATE: Beware of third party vendors. Buying on coffeemakers.us.com will invalidate the warranty if you do not buy from the Braun Store (in coffeemakers.us.com). Braun refused to take responsibility for the faulty machine, since the item was sold by a third party seller, (ON coffeemakers.us.com)
We bought this machine because our kids bought one while living in the Netherlands. It brewed such good tasting, clean cup of coffee. It brews a 10 cup pot within 5 minutes. It has a great bloom and no spilage! It also looks good on our counter! It's a bit pricey but of you are fussy about your coffee, don't go to Starbucks, but this machine! I guarantee you'll love this brewer!
This machine is quite lovely. Takes up not all that much more room than a traditional pot maker, is easy to maintain, and makes a great cup of coffee whether you ground or k cup. The taste is great, much better than our old French press style maker and produces multiple styles of richness for all kinds of coffee drinks. However, as everything nowadays is made as cheaply as humanly possible, the coffee ground caddy with the water dispersal system built into the cap is quite flimsy. While the net is still holding well, the plastic rod that holds the cap in place has already broken after just a few weeks of use while shaking coffee grounds out. Unfortunately I'm not sure if there's any better method aside from dumping the grounds straight down the drain with the assistance of water but we really don't like to do that, our house plumbing isn't that trustworthy. With the little knob left over, the cap is still holding for now, and would it break off completely, I don't believe the function will be impeded. But then it ends up being another loose piece of plastic that we have to manage, so not ideal. Looking for replacement parts now. Would be five star if it was built better.
