  • This stain does not come out washing by hand or in the dishwasher. I've owned this hard plastic Bodum carafe about 6 months, maybe a little longer, but it's been disclolored for awhile. If it's stained from the coffee the plastic must be permeable. Does that mean that some of the plastic can leach out as well? Glass doesn't stain or discolor, it can be washed clean. You decide if you want to risk drinking plastic molecules. I bought a glass carafe today, and for the first time with the new carafe I also had no grounds in my cup. Unfortunately the Bodum press screen must not be quite right because I always had a few grounds in my cup. I didn't mind much, but it'e nice to have my new glass coffee press make a better cup also

The Kinto 4 Cup Dripper stands someplace between the Hario v60 and Chemex in terms of flavor extraction. The opening at the bottom is nearly twice as large as the v60, it has the 90 degree angle of the Chemex, and the ridges inside are straight down which produces water flow like the Chemex . When us d with the Chemex filters and courier grinder setting, the flavor results are nearly the same as the Chemex. At the same ime it is easier to use and clean than the Chemex.

***Update 5 14 17*** Third machine. I have found that some brands of kcups are more prone to give the needle error message, but all continually dumps tons of grounds in the coffee. Terrible design. Can't get a refund because originally bought from coffeemakers.us.com and 30 days has past. This thing is going in the garbage. ***Update 4 12 17**** The second machine that Keurig sent has the same problem! Consistently has the needle error. I have their filter in the water tank and cleaned the needle before brewing and it still can't get a cup of coffee out! Ridiculous! The second one is going back! Will never buy a Keurig again! ****I bought this 4 months ago. We normally brew 3-4 cups per day. I use only triple filtered water and descale every 2 weeks.I repeatedly got the error message that the brew could not be completed. When I got the error message I would use the included mechanism to clean the needle. Over the next few days, it would happen at least two more times. Then it could be ok for a few days. I got fed up with wasting so many kcups I called Keurig directly. They are sending me a new machine & 2 boxes of kcups. I hope it works better than the one I have. I tried 7 kcups this morning and got 1 cup of coffee that brewed all the way through and was not full (1/2 the kcup grounds were in the cup) of coffee grounds. I am giving it 2 stars because when I first got it, it worked great and the company is trying to make it right.

Cap arrived with a chip but it didn’t affect use and I didn’t want to wait on a return and reship so I’m dealing with it. I LOVE MAKING MY OWN COLD BREW. This thing is adorable and super easy to use.

  • Espresso machine came very nicely packaged, no damage, the machine was packaged well inside the box with proper cushion to prevent damages. All pieces came. I like how the suction cups are on the bottom of the machine to prevent sliding around on counter. I have used it two days now and it is working so well. The instructions are very detailed and well written, which is a must for me because I find some instructions are very hard to read and follow. I will be getting one to keep at the office for employees to enjoy!

Bottom very rusty after 2 yrs. We overfilled water one time, after that we were very careful not to overfill. Also thermal carafe very difficult to keep the inside clean, cannot get hand inside to scrub. Disappointed, we’ve had Cuisinart for many years. We purchased a different brand this time.

I’ve own this very model for over 5 years and love love love the way the coffee tastes! So, when it started falling apart (filter handle broke, coffee pot leaks and unit just stopped working) I decided to get the same product again. Upon arrival, I suspected something fishy. The box was kinda buckled up and the cord was not tied down with a twisty. But I went ahead and assembled it and started doing tests runs to clean it out. During this process, I noticed the pot was leaking under the handle section and water was all over the bottom of the carafe. And then the plastic filter handle wiggled a bit and when I looked closer, it was separating apart and appear to been glued back poorly! I was sad! I brewed one pot. It tasted great! But all the defects were not enough reason for me to keep it. I’m sad! Makes great coffee, looks good in the kitchen but bad quality. Bonavita has failed me. I’m sad. Returned.

So easy to use and the coffee tastes great!

  • I had to make a reorder when my first maker came broken…but it was worth the wait because sometimes bad apples must be plucked to make way for the fresh ones….but then I left my mug at work lol This was a great purchase!

  • I was heartbroken when my tall primula coffee carafe broke while I was cleaning it. I’d been using it for a few years and absolutely loved it. The handle broke while I was trying to twist off the upper spout for cleaning, it was really hard to clean and always felt somewhat fragile when handling it. It was also awkward to store in the fridge as it was so tall. I then found this shorter version here on coffeemakers.us.com so decided to get this one and am I glad I did! They’ve certainly improved the design with this one! It’s super easy to clean, the coffee filter keeps the grounds secularly separate from your brew, I was shocked to see that it actually held more water/brew than the tall one (optical illusion I guess), and I LOVE that it fits on the shorter shelves of the fridge. I usually let mine brew for a couple days (I like mine stronger) then for storage I transfer it to an old Tupperware container I have, and start another batch so I’m never without fresh iced coffee. So glad I discovered this new design!

This is a great iced tea maker! My husband and I both drink iced tea year round. This is easy to use, brew time is pretty quick, and the tea is consistently delicious. We like strong tea, and if that is your preference, here is a tip: fill the pitcher to the 3 quart line and pour it into the water tank. Use 6 tea bags. Run the brew cycle with NO water or ice in the pitcher. When it's done, pour 3 more quarts of water into the tank, and using the same tea bags, run the brew cycle again. When you're all done, you will have a full pitcher of perfectly brewed, strong tea. It will be hot, since no water or ice was put into the pitcher, but that hasn't been an issue as I brew at night and leave in the fridge to drink the next day. I have had absolutely no problems or issues at all. No leaking or anything else. This is absolutely the best iced tea maker I have ever used! I love it!
