I get what I get for buying used - just buy it new 😆
Bought this one for work, just something inexpensive but durable. 6-8 cups per day. Nice basis k pod coffee maker. Nothing fancy still brews a great cup.
The Keurig K-Supreme Plus Coffee Maker's box was damaged. The box's security sticker was pulled away from the box. The Coffee maker did not power on. Item was returned.
Dislikes: - EDIT: 2022/03/01: Recently noticed a nasty smell coming from the steam wand arm after removing the steam wand tip. Turns out, if you don't remove the steam wand tip after each use, some milk remains between the connection point of the tip and the inside of the arm, which grows nasty stuff. I now remove and clean the steam wand tip and flush the wand after each use... :( - Water tank grows things. I anticipated this, and am sure the manual must recommend frequent cleanings, but if you're waiting for the fancy digital touchscreen to remind you, you'll be sorely mistaken. I might have to throw out water more frequently and scrub it down (weekly?), but that's way too high maintenance for a parent with a toddler. - The waste water/grounds container is made of plastic and shows wear and tear very fast (weeks) on a $1000 machine. Unfortunately, this is a high touch area as one is always sliding the milk frothing cup and mugs in and out. - The auto-clean feature on the steam milk wand is annoying. Auto-cleaning by pouring milk and water to the water catch bin is a recipe for some nasty smelling stuff, unless you're constantly cleaning it. Or, you use something to catch the rinse water and pour it out. I'd rather just manually clean it myself, but I can't find a way to disable this feature. Likes: - Espresso and lattes are yummy.
This is really cute but it is really small. We get about two cups of coffee between my husband and I but it fits perfect in my coffee bar. 😍
Update: broke after a few months, just stopped sucking up water to brew coffee. Overall I like this product. I've made coffee in the bold, medium in classic options and it definitely tasted different per setting. There are a few design flaws with the coffee pot itself. First the lid either fully detaches or fully attaches, you cannot lifted open with your thumb as you pour like you would with a normal coffee pot (see imagine). The coffee pot also has a very curved lip so you can never pour out all the coffee.
At $25, I didn’t have any high expectations. Functionally, the product is adequate. Brews rather slowly, but the coffee is fine. The problem is the poor quality carafe. The glass is wafer thin, and hyper-delicate. After three days of use, the carafe broke apart in the dishwasher. To be clear, it was in the upper rack, on the energy-saver cycle, with the heated dry setting turned OFF. These were one hour, low temp, wash cycles with open-door air drying…nothing harsh. Upon searching for replacement carafes, with an average price of $33, more than the price of a new machine; I can only conclude that this product is intentionally designed to fail.
Coffee pot works great, but pod brew does not work well, does not give the ozs you put in and gets clogged and leaks alot.
Cutting to the chase: Recommended! Easy to use and makes great espressos, lattes and cappuccinos. The TDLR (Too long, didn’t read) version This espresso machine is a great choice for quality espresso, lattes, and cappuccinos. The machine seems to be made well, and works fine. The milk frother is a little cumbersome to clean out, but does work very well. Over all I feel this is a good value for money and a great machine. IMHO I feel this is a solid 5 star product, as it outperformed all of my expectations. PLEASE NOTE: Reviews reflect my “customer experience” using the product, based on the actual performance delivered vs. what the product’s description and/or its pictures or diagrams may seem to suggest. 1 Star: Abysmal customer experience and/or failed to meet significant parts of its description. 2 Stars: Poor experience, primarily as described, but is IMHO ‘second-rate’ and/or very poor value. 3 Stars: Average experience, reasonably meets the expectation promised in its description. 4 Stars: Good experience, meets all described expectations, and a reasonable value for money. 5 Stars: EXCELLENT experience! FAR OUTPERFORMED all expectations!
I am pretty much used to automatic drip coffee so this is a new adventure for me. This pour over set is not only tastefully engineered and beautifully made but it makes a fine cup of coffee. It takes a bit more time and a bit more patience brewing coffee this way but the result is so much better. This set includes everything necessary for making that perfect cup. The gooseneck kettle with the thermometer built into the lid, the 1200ml glass carafe, the stainless steel filter and 2 tablespoon scoop are elegant to look at. They all come together to produce perfection in a cup. I love everything about this set and I highly recommend it.
Replacing my older Black & Decker coffee maker because the glass pot broke , and it’s the same price to replace the entire unit . Arrived today , it does not keep the coffee hot ! There’s no hot plate on the base that stays hot to keep the coffee warm ! I can’t believe it . Totally disappointed . Returning .
Pretty decent item. I love how much more space it is saving me on my counter top. Easy to use and assemble. Has double filter system. Love it!! Easy to clean.
I dont understand why anyone gave this coffee maker a bad review...its a great device. I set it everynight and wake up to coffee at 6am. I feel like learning how to make coffee should preceed being able to leave a review (after reading the reviews, I think maybe some people need basic barista lessons...lol).
The coffee, the hot water and the steam that this machine produces have a strong taste of plastic. Also, bad engineering. Once the steam button is turned on the machine pumps lukewarm water (into my jug of milk), then waits several seconds and only then starts producing steam. After the milk has been frothed it doesn't hold its shape much, collapses soon. And one more thing. After I turn off the steam button I wipe the steam wand with a damp cloth and want to turn it on again for a couple of seconds to let some steam out to clean the wand inside but the button is right above the pouring hot steam. The designers obviously lack common sense. See my photo and video. I am returning this object.
