Although this drip coffee maker takes up minimal space on your countertop, it can brew 12 cups of coffee. It is well-designed and made of high-quality materials. The brew basket can be removed very easily but lifting it and putting it in the dishwasher to clean it up every day. There is no timer or programmer so make sure you turn it off after you're done brewing your coffee. If you forget it, it won't turn off automatically. This is something that you need to consider. I recommend this coffee maker for its price to anyone looking for a simple compact coffee maker.

Update: had to return device as water got stuck in it. Will return to 5 stars if second device has no issues! This has been a great product for me! I ski and sometimes have time to make coffee and sometimes don’t, for on the go quick shot or two this is going to be my go to! Can’t wait to use it on the mountain and camping! The buttons are hard to press and the instructions could be a bit clearer and offer more guidance. I grabbed this because it was a good deal and I’m not mad at it so far!

We have had this coffee maker for about six months. For the first four months the machine operated properly and dispensed good coffee. Between my wife and I we brew about four cups per day. However, at the four month mark it began having error codes, the red flashing triangle. I have been able to clear the code by opening the and reseating the infuser mechanism, or by unplugging it. I regularly clean the inside of the unit as the manual states. The issue with this is if the error occurs before the coffee was brewed, it dumps the fresh ground coffee into the used grounds tray. So I lose my coffee grounds when that happens. If this were infrequent, I wouldn’t have an issue with it, however, the unit is doing this every few days, and I'm losing coffee weekly. This is (or was) a $500 coffee maker, so I have an issue with that. I called De’Longhi service for a replacement and did video support calls showing the error on two separate occasions. While the support reps were nice and spent time with me, they advised their policy would not replace the coffee maker for this issue. They said they would repair the unit, however, I have been waiting for about a month, and have not received the shipping box. The service tech said this error was within specification, and did not warrant a replacement. So it appears, if I ship it back they will test it, it will pass their test, and they will send it back to me. I feel this unit will not last a long time despite the high cost. I would recommend looking at other coffee makers. EDIT: The coffee maker is just over a year old annd now out of warranty. Due to the stated problems it no longer works. With every use it jams and fails to function. For a $500 coffee maker highly disappointing. I would avoid this unit.

For over 20 years, I've always been a fan of Mr.Coffee pots, it's the only brand I buy in the 4-5 cup size.... these have gotten harder to find, not many stores in my area carry this brand anymore, maybe blame current supply chain issues, but im happy to have found one on coffeemakers.us.com. This is my 5th small pot I've had to buy, 12 cup pots seen to not last long when brewing half a pot, so I keep buying these small ones.. I've had good luck with Mr.Coffee lasting long time. I was happy to find MR.Coffee still uses the old regular paper basket filters. Coffee brews fast and hot, tastes great and easy to clean up. The only gripe I have on this newest one, is this new design, this larger than my old Mr.Coffee 5 cups have been in the past, so This coffee pot takes up more counter space and the top lid hinges to the left side and it is large one piece lid. All my older ones have had a pivot where the filter basket swings out to the front so you can put the filter and coffee in and easily remove for cleaning. At the back There was a small top lid that opened at the rear so you can add water to the reservoir. I had to rearrange a little to accommodate this design change, still adjusting to this change which I see a possible flaw that I will eventually break the piece that now has to pivot back and forth when you add or remove the filter. Still happy to have a Mr.Coffee but for myself, I will be looking for the older design style if I can find one.

This left a lot of grounds in the jar and on the outside of the filter. Not perfect by any means so be prepared to wipe out the grinds from the jar and filter your cold brew.

  • When I received my coffee pot from coffeemakers.us.com, the box the machine arrived in was badly damaged. There were holes throughout the box and the side of the box looked like someone had dropped it on its side and then ran it over. The machine itself seemed to be intact enough to leave a review though. Upon setting it up it seemed high quality. The multiple brew and serving options were appreciated. I brewed my first pot on the gold setting and was quite impressed. It gave my coffee a taste that seemed true to how it should have tasted all this time. I never experienced the true flavor of my favorite coffee brand with my last coffee machine which was evident when brewing with this machine. I also like the temperature options. I can keep my coffee warm in the pot for 15 minutes or up to 4 hours. The 3 year coverage warranty is a nice addition. This machine delivers optimal brewing performance in every cup by calculating the precise water flow, temperature, and speed for every coffee preference and that's nice because my entire household drinks coffee and all has their own preferences. It brews a pot of hot coffee in under 8 minutes and a cold brew in under 13 so it seems like it has everything to like, but then I realized that it requires special paper filters to brew the coffee and a charcoal filter that has to be changed monthly, which I don't think I would keep up with. For those reasons. I would personally go with a different machine that requires less maintenance. After less than a week of owning this, the machine is no longer keeping my coffee warm. I do not recommend this coffee machine whatsoever.

Works well, easy to clean, and looks very nice. Received compliments from guests.

  • I rated this French Press 5 stars because it was well designed, easy to use, and easy to clean. It’s just large enough to make one very large cup of coffee or tea for one person, or two small cups for two people. I used it to brew tea. Before using it, I cleaned it by hand. The glass carafe easily removes from the handle for cleaning and the rest of the components are easy to wash. Afterwards, I added hot water & my tea bag, and pushed the plunger down about half way. Plunger moved easily without any issues. After about 4 minutes, I lifted the plunger, removed the tea bag, and then poured my tea as needed. It worked great and cleaning was easy. Based on my experience, I have every reason to believe that coffee (that has been ground French Press size) will brew correctly here. One hint, for coffee brewing, please ignore the instructions that say to use boiling water because it will scorch your coffee. Instead try a lower temperature such as 175 to 185 degree Fahrenheit, that’s all!

  • I bought this kit in 2023 and it worked really well until my Keurig Coffee maker broke. So I bought a newer 2025 Keurig and tried to install the floater in the newer Keurig. Although I got the the floater to fit (barely) in a lid mounted configuration like I had done with my previous Keurig model, the new Keurig would stop at half a cup and the Add Water light would come on. As I experimented with the system it appears that the new Keurig models don't like to have the water reservoir being automatically refilled while the machine is dispensing a cup of coffee. This floater kit seems to mess up the Keurig's water metering system. I still intend to use the kit, but now I'll have to turn off the input water valve cock after the reservoir fills. Then I'll wait until the Keurig reservoir is empty before I turn the valve cock back on - only long enough to refill the reservoir. So the kit is still useful in that you don't have to refill the reservoir by removing it and taking it to the sink. But it is not the fully automatic refill system it used to be. I'll reiterate that this loss of automatic functionality is really due to the Keurig's new metering system rather than the kit. But it does make the kit less useful. If someone knows of a better way to solve this problem, I would really like to hear it. My original Review: This is really an easy DIY job. I give it 5 stars. What made this kit extra special is the inclusion of two tools not found in some of the other kits. The metal stepper drill bit tool is well made and really came in handy for drilling out a hole in my Keurig's lid so the float valve could be installed in the reservoir. The other really useful tool is the tube cutter used to make clean 90 degree cuts of the hoses. Good cuts make the tubing and adaptor mating perfect and worry free (no leaking thank you). 2 Tips: 1st Tip - Connect the Tee fitting to the output side of your refrigerator filter to feed filtered water into the coffee machine. Filtered water will keep the coffee machine cleaner and the coffee tasting better. Not only that, but every time you change the refrigerator filter you will have effectively changed the filter for the Keurig as well. 2nd Tip: Connect one of the 1/4" shutoff ball valves between the Tee fitting and the coffee maker where you can easily get to it. I put mine in the line feeding the coffee maker about a foot or so from the coffee maker so I can easily shut off the flow when I want to clean the reservoir.

  • It’s elegant and functional. However, the wooden handles of the kettle (the body and the cover) is not firmly attached to the kettle and gets detached easily. It is inconvenient to fix it every time I use it.

  • Works like a normal coffee pot. Smart home integration works, but operations and controls with a Google Home configuration is somewhat half baked. Machine always shows offline in Google Home app, but accepts voice commands to make a pot. Let's talk about filling the tank. Why they didn't put an oversized water tank seems like an oversight. If I'm already next to the machine, refilling the tank every time I brew a pot, why would I use any smart options when there's buttons in the front of my face? If overfilling slightly, there's a weep hole in the bank, making for an uber wet morning. Bottom line. This can do what a $35 pot can do. The smart app and voice control are nice but frivolous, as they're better for showing off and not so much for practicality. If you were looking for a good smart coffee pot, wait until someone engineers one with a self emptying filter and an oversized water tank. Smart convenience is trumped by a poor design.
