Makes fantastic coffee. However the glass carafe is simply not available for replacement and it is delicate. Seems only the stainless one is available and the 2 we bought so far were defective. A real bummer.

It is worth every penny.. and also know what you want before you waste your time and sit there right your negative review.. I have coffee machines for every coffee I want to taste.. Give your products a chance and take your time to figure out how they really work.. so enjoy...

I have used this daily for 3 years but about one year in, the gooey copper coating started globing up on the handle. I usually pour with a napkin around it. Disappointed. Keeps things hot though. Sigh.

Bought this product for Christmas and it’s been a waste of money! The most important button on the machine for us, the ‘auto on’ button, doesn’t work. We bought a coffee maker again so that we could set it to make coffee in the morning and this coffee maker does not fulfill that need. Also, the ‘keep warm’ button does not work so there is no way to keep the carafe hot after the initial warm timer expires. Already looking for a replacement and will not buy another Braun!

Great quality. I really the dual functions where you can use both coffee cup (capsule) and ground coffee. Shinny red color that fits great into my house design.

I bought this coffee maker Sep. 2023 and it is still working perfectly. Does not take too much space. You can make regular coffee or pods.

One month update: this thing is a mess. Even when you stick to the fill limit of the coffee basket, it overflows, plugging the valve and leaving grounds into the filter holder and the coffee carafe itself - every, flipping, morning, I have to clean it. Yes, starting with a freshly cleaned filter. Yes, I do use coffee specifically ground for a filter machine. Also the warming element cooks the coffee, turns it into a gas station bitter swill in no time flat. I wish I had returned it with it the first month. Initial review: The basket has a maximum capacity of 76g (2.7oz) coffee grounds before it overflows and you have to clean up grounds from everywhere inside. Using the Peet’s coffee recipe ratio of 1g of coffee per 16g of water, this coffeemaker can only handle 1.2l / 8.5 cups of water. And since you lose about a cup of water to evaporation and absorption into the grounds, this is really only a 7.5 cup maker. NOT 12 cups. Unless maybe you are making weak American style coffee.

Makes the most flavorful coffee I’ve ever had. I would definitely buy one again but I hope I don’t have to for a long time.

the outside of this product gets extremely hot... exactly the opposite of what it should do, just messed up my wood table!! now this is really sickening!!!! complained to coffeemakers.us.com about the product and they changed the name!!! words cannot say all I'm thinking right now!!!!! the title used to read "Bodum DOUBLE WALL Stainless Steel French Press Coffee Maker, 34 Ounce"

Purchased this in December 2023. Now in November 2024 it stopped working.

I already had a keurig for hot coffee and tea. I use this new one strictly for iced coffee--and I'm making great coffee without mess and with very little effort. I use French roast and usually add some kind of milk. The two keurigs together barely take the space that would be required for a regular drip coffee maker and as I said above there's no mess or waste. I would definitely recommend this product.

I wanted a lighter, more minimalist look in my kitchen, and I purchased this coffee pot in yellow. A nice change from the huge, cumbersome 12 cup coffee maker that was here and has since been stored away for when company comes. This 5-cup pot is great, and the coffee good. I was skeptical when I saw the universal filter, but tried it this morning and I was not disappointed. I do use my own coffee scoop, which holds more than the scoop included with the pot, and I tend to use heaping scoops. Very pleased with my purchase and liked the variety of color choices.

I had a long, in-depth review of this coffee brewer but decided to delete that and do a quick and easy review. I've had my Technivorm for for about 7-8 months and I'm completely pleased with it. I would make the purchase again with no hesitation. My wife and I have very different tastes in coffee so I essentially use this machine to brew one American sized cup at a time. I grind my beans on the middle setting of my grinder, add tap water to the "2 cup" mark, add 15 grams of ground coffee to the filter/basket and then brew directly into my cup. The result is a consistently great cup of coffee. I have a gold filter that I sometimes use to get coffee that is more French Press style (ie, lots of coffee oils). This machine has met all of my expectations and I now have superb coffee on demand. The photos below show the Technivorm in action and a cup of gold filtered coffee showing the oils that end up in the cup rather than in the paper filter.

Love this guy! First photo: Got crema! Don’t pack too hard for more. I also let the shot run past the green light to get more crema and more espresso for my cappuccino. If I stop for green light to come back on for second shot, I don’t get as much crema. Second photo: Great frother! But be certain to use a wide mouth cup, or you won’t get as much foam. This photo shows more than double amount of foam of coconut milk with a splash of cow than original liquid. I just actually foam in my chilled cup and add the espresso and it’s still hot enough for me, and I can drink it right away. But you can transfer the foam, if you want a hotter beverage. I’ve had this dreamboat now for about 3 weeks and have made at least two double shot cappuccinos per day on it. The one I had this morning is as good as the one I had on the very first day, which was fantastic! Great buy especially for 15 bars! Good shipping, Seems like a clean machine, well made, and made in the good ole’ USA. Let’s see how long it will last. I have a really good feeling about this guy! I’m thinking about introducing him to my mother! 😀
