Good looking coffee maker and quality built. Has good grip handle and fast drip or slow options. Good deal and has many options. Fast warm up and keeps coffee hot. Comes ready with filter
It's a basic little Keurig. Takes forever to brew (about 3 minutes). I got it for the occasional cup at work and I didn't want to spend too much. I decorated it with a sharpie.
UPDATE: This unit has completely failed after less than 2 years. It was miserable to use when it worked, now it doesn’t. I wrote SMEG customer service to express my frustration, and they replied with the following: Thank you for your email. Smeg USA small appliances carry a 12 month warranty so your unit is not eligible for replacement. “Thank you for your email. Smeg USA small appliances carry a 12 month warranty so your unit is not eligible for replacement.” At this price point, you’d expect a company would stand behind its products. SMEG clearly does not. ORIGINAL REVIEW: For a $230 coffee maker, this one has been a big disappointment. First off, it’s nice to look at. If you don’t plan to use it to make coffee, go for it. The design is poor. The lid doesn’t open enough to be able to empty all the water out of the carafe. If you want the coffee to stay warm for more than 20 minutes, you have to turn the machine back on again, over and over. Did anyone at SMEG actually use this thing before shipping it out? As for the carafe, the cheap plastic handle on mine began to crumble after TWO MONTHS of use. I replaced it under warranty. The second carafe held on a little longer, but it will ultimately break again, and now I’m out of warranty. For the price of a replacement carafe, I can just buy a Mr. Coffee that isn’t as pretty, but will brew a better pot of coffee. The build quality is flimsy, and overall it’s a very unremarkable coffee maker. The Cuisinart coffee maker I replaced with this was still going strong after about 15 years. This thing started falling apart 2 months in.
It arrived with a broken cup and a a missing handler. The quality of the materials is very low. It looks very cheap. Not worth the price
I tried many Turkish coffee machines, this one is the best by far. I have been using it since 2016, last long easy to operate. You can use any brand of Turkish coffee the result will amaze you guaranteed. Over priced in USA market 299$, other regions sell for 120$
easy use&clean. But 1 used it came out metal thread from metal filter. Is it defeat? i request return but still charge ups pick up fee. Im not happy even that’s policy. I will get another brands not trust this brand/this item is not seller or coffeemakers.us.com fault
Easy to use and clean. Brew basket can be easily removed for quick cleanup's. It strangely does not come with a reusable filter cup, but works fine with the disposable filter in the brew basket. No issues with spills or burns per other reviews. But everyone's different and maybe some products were faulty.
I loved this coffee maker, but after having this for almost a month, I noticed white residue in the sprayer and in the filter after there was no coffee in it. I've cleaned it out before using it (4 full times with a vinegar solution until it was clear) because I noticed the white residue then. Also, we ONLY use bottled water. The Ninja customer service was extremely helpful when we got this because it was received damaged and they fully replaced the damaged parts. But after having this for almost a month and noticing this white "stuff" in there, I'm very hesitant to use this again.
High quality product, wire spring popped out after first use, still functions. Have owned many french presses before and this is very good quality, but this happened. Didn't feel comfortable returning because it still works, but I wanted to make the manufacturer aware of it.
My first review ever! I specifically paid more for this pot cause my research showed it was NOT made in China. I just now opened on Christmas Day to find the coffee pot is MADE IN CHINA! I’m very very disappointed! I will be returning
I've never really drunk a lot of coffee before, mostly instant. But a friend of mine brought me a bag of whole bean coffee from Guatemala. So I bought this French press to try it out. I was not Disappointed! It was simple to use and easy to clean. I made 1 cup and let it brew for about 4 minutes. I added the sugar to the French press. Probably doesn't make a difference though. It was a completely different experience. I've never had a cup of coffee like this before. BTW, I ground ghe beans on my bullet blender. Worked great
Great, but they fail right after warranty runs out. I have had 8 Keurig coffee makers over the years. I love the convenience of these, but for the cost, you would think they would last a few years. I kept thinking we must be doing something wrong, but we use filtered water and descale properly when it is time. The Company replaced one under warranty, We bought the more expensive unit thinking it would last longer but it didn't. The last unit, I actually took apart, breaking many of the snaps and clips. I wanted to see why it was failing. I found that there is a $2 bi-metal thermostatic switch that goes bad. It only has so many cycles. It is totally impractical to replace this piece because of the 1 time snap together case that breaks when trying to get inside. My suggestion is to buy the lower cost models since they all seem to last about the same which is 1 to 2 years. Definitely register the for the warranty. If less than a year, they may send you a new one
I never write reviews but this coffee machine was everything and more from my expectations. I did research on which pods to use and will say the black rifle coffee paired with half and half milk for frothing has been better than any coffee shop coffee I’ve ever taste! Rich bold and the milk makes it creamy. Can’t wait to try all the other combinations. The frother also worked excellent on the first try. I originally wanted to buy a very expensive cappuccino maker and went back and forth but I simply love the convenience of the keurig. This has been a total win! Highly recommend.
The carafe arrived with a chipped handle. If not careful, it will cut your hand while pouring.
We are so pleased with this order I had to write a quick review. Assembling was simple and only took 2 minutes. The design is sleek and fits well in the refrigerator. We let it brew for 18 hours... used filtered water as suggested. My wife and I had our first glass... Tastes great.. even BETTER than the coffee shop down the street. Super happy it can hold to up to a gallon of coffee. Well done Original Grind Coffee... well done!
