I mean, really? Did you just bring the product from Turkey and add converter? It is for 220-240V (which is suitable for Turkey) not for US (110-120V) Therefore the machine is not warming!! Such a way to do business, not nice! Requested for a return 4 days ago, still waiting for the seller to create a shipping label. Totally upset with the purchase and the seller experience.

  • I'm new to making pour over coffee, and I appreciate it how this had everything that I needed. The filter was nice and easy to clean. I appreciated how the carafe had a cup indicator marks on the side. There were instructions on the front of the box as well as in the box. For someone who loves the smell of coffee, the pour over is great because you really get to smell the grounds. I still need to work on getting the ratio right but I like how this set had all the supplies.

I bought this to replace my broken grinder and to eliminate the hassle of having two devices, a grinder and maker. Also to eliminate coffee grind finding its way in the counters every time I opened the grinder. I have now been using this eight months and have mixed feelings about it. It is nice to have it all in one machine, but the daily cleaning process is inconvenient: there is a plastic lid that sits on the coffee filter. It must be removed and rinsed before each use. Ironically, that thing leaves a trail of dirty coffee water and grinds. I also occasionally forget to put it back in the machine. That causes the machine to beep an error warning, which I hopefully can remember. Another issue that I am becoming more adept at remediating early on, is to remove the the upper coffee bean holder and open the Grey door that sits above the basket to check for packed grounds (see photos). I then push the clean filter basket back in, without that too I mentioned earlier, take a chopstick, and then break up and push the packed grounds down into the basket. I follow up by using the brush that comes with the unit to clean up the rest. See photos. I close the Grey door, put the bean bin on and lock it, hopefully remember to reopen the basket below to add the top back on, which I usually do not, and turn it on. And then a beeping error warning goes off ... what did I do this time? Is the bean dispenser not on correctly, did I forget the basket top, other? Other than that, it makes great coffee. The controls are easy, the carafe okay, although I wonder how long the snap on plastic top will last after daily use. Otherwise it is simple to use because there are not many controls. There is no temperature control. Just tell it how much water is there and turn it on. It is a lot more putzy than just a regular coffee maker and separate grinder, but is just one device. There is still messy residue from the basket cleaning process. Coffee is great ... I guess the gain really comes down to not having a separate and dangerous grinder, but with an inconvenient cleaning process.

  • I don’t usually write reviews but I really wanted to for this one. Have only used this new press a couple of times but already love it. It's good-looking, solid, and does its job beautifully. It makes perfect coffee. The top slides on really nicely and doesn’t have any gaps or wobbling so you know it really traps the heat inside, and also will make sure none of the coffee grains will slip into your cup when pouring. As a bonus, the kit comes with an extra mesh filter. The stainless steel finish keeps your coffee warm for a while. Overall It looks good and cleans up easily..

I love my Kitchenaid cold brewer! I enjoy just opening the fridge and pouring out my concentrated coffee and making a cold iced coffee. Makes enough for 2 weeks and flavor is wonderful, not bitter like hot brewed coffee. Have a Krups with carafe, a Keurig but only use this cold brewer. It is very well built, easy to clean and makes great tasting coffee hot or cold with no bitterness!

  • UPDATE 8/29/23 Today while attempting to use the Delay Brew feature, I learned that button also does not work so I do not have the ability to set the coffee maker to brew for the next day. I definitely received a "lemon". Also, coffeemakers.us.com has replied to my inquiry (see last update) and submitted a satisfactory offer to resolve the situation. However, I still am extremely disappointed with the failure of this coffee maker. UPDATE 8/28/23 After waiting several days for an email reply, I was directed to call GE Cares Line. And after waiting 30 minutes to speak to a person, I was told that this unit is not repairable by them and to contact coffeemakers.us.com to make a return. This problem is becoming more frustrating as I go but I'll give coffeemakers.us.com a shot and will update this review again later. _____________________________ I purchased the - GE Drip Coffee Maker With Timer | 10-Cup Thermal Carafe Coffee Pot – mostly for the single serving feature for those times when I need a cup of coffee on the go. The first time I tried it, I filled the water reservoir up to the “minimum” mark. The directions do not state how many ounces of water that is. After experimenting, I figured it's approximately 13 ounces which is the size of one of my larger mugs. The directions do state that 4 cup mark is 20 ounces. The single serving feature works well. The next time I made coffee, I used the carafe to make a 4 cup pot. Because the flavor seemed a little weaker than my Cuisinart coffee maker, I tried the Bold Brew feature and that seemed to help. I’m going to play around with the ratio of coffee to water and try a paper filter to see if that will change the flavor profile any. As far as the temperature of the coffee; it could be hotter but I do prefer a too-hot-to-drink cup of coffee. The thermal carafe does keep the coffee hot and tasting fresh but again, I like my coffee extremely hot so I found myself using the microwave on occasion to warm it up some. One of the last times that I used this coffee maker, I was making a larger pot which did not require the use of the 1-4 cup setting feature. Unfortunately, I couldn’t shut off the 1-4 cup setting and I still can’t shut it off. The light remains on. I have soured the directions and have tried everything from unplugging the unit to sliding the lever to the right and making another single serving cup of coffee. I have searched online for information, as well as read numerous reviews. I don’t know if I’m doing something wrong, or there is an issue with my unit. So, I hopped on over to GE’s website and sent an email asking for assistance. Once I receive a response, I’ll update this review. I think this coffee maker is very attractive (and prettier than my Cuisinart) and it matches my kitchen’s aesthetics nicely. I think the instructions are lacking and could be improved on. I like the stainless steel carafe and the ability to brew a single cup. But I am feeling frustrated and disappointed about having brand new coffee pot with a “stuck” 1-4 cup setting. For that reason alone, I can only give this coffeemaker a 2 star rating. Hopefully this issue will be resolved quickly. And again, I’ll update this review with those results. Lastly, I think it's worth noting that I did not encounter any issues whatsoever when registering my coffeemaker on GE's website. It was simple and quick.

  • This is our 1st bean to brew machine. I'm impressed with the quality of the machine being exposed to Jura machines in the past. Great flavor, temp and not a loud machine. One thing to know, STAY AWAY from oily beans (Starbucks especially). The beans clogged up the grinder. Now we can kick the K-cups and not have acidic coffee. Happy Customer!

This is a really tiny coffee maker--like the kind you find in motels. It supposedly makes 4 cups, but frankly when you first open it, it appears that it would only make 1 and in fact in only really makes 1 very large mug of coffee. Coffee is good. Edit after about 2 mos--coffee is just okay--I've used premium and generic coffee and the coffee taste is just okay--not for a coffee officianado. Note the LED display is not lighted and is very hard to see/read and is at the bottom of the pot so you have to bend down or pick up the entire unit to read/set it so if you have vision problems, this might not be for you, especially if you use the programmable/delay feature that has to be reset every day . If you are on a budget, have limited counter space and don't drink a lot of coffee, this is for you. It is so small, you could probably bring it with you when you travel or keep it on your desk. Takes small filters. Again, it is really tiny! In this picture, you can see the size of carafe next to a "normal" size Cuisinart carafe..

  • So…I don’t drink coffee that much (well…before I got this maker I didn’t but now it might be becoming a regular habit because this maker is so accessible and easy to use) but I do like a cup now and then but I hate pulling out our huge space taking Keurig. I wanted something small and quite frankly cute looking. I looked around and did some research and came across this little pink number. There were mixed reviews but mostly positive. I ordered it and it was basically ready to go out of the box. It comes with a little ground coffee holder so you don’t have to order extras unless someone else in the family uses it too. It takes up very little space and is easy to clean up. The only downside is it doesn’t dispense much coffee. I’m talking maybe an 8 oz cup so you will need to make several cups if you’re a huge coffee drinker but I’m not. I just like a little cup of decaf now and then. This would be perfect for dorms, small apartments and for travel if you are really particular about your coffee. It’s great for our house simply because we have so much stuff on the counter already. If I’m honest I’d have to say my favorite thing is the color…it’s such a pretty Easter pink.

Unfortunately this product is not eligible for return. As you can see with the photos the product is defective. While washing it after receiving it, the coil sticks out a bit which traps the mesh under it and I almost couldn't get the plunger out of the glass. It was really stuck. I have been a Bodum user for the last 40 years and this is very disappointing. The coil is very sturdy metal so I could not find it down. It's defective

Was lucky I found this product as didn't know you can get a single brew machine. There are times I need a single cup only or after pot emptied another cup. This product fits the bill. I like the versatility as I typically grind my coffee before serving. My wife prefers tea and we have both bag and loose leaves. I don't use Kpods but now realize this product is great for parties. If a guest wants a cup of coffee/tea they can help themselves to a Kpod rather than I making a wasted pot of coffee. In terms of the device itself. Easy to use, convenient and no issues with cross contamination from a cup of coffee to cup of tea. When we travel this becomes a big deal as the places we stay have a coffee maker that leaves a coffee taste in tea and my wife hates coffee. Some observations: Oversize cups or travel mugs (Diameter) will require removal of the catch basin and won't fit cleanly on the pad. That is not a deal breaker for me. Because there is a natural long gap between coffee cup and drip point you may get some splash, especially when cup nearly full on machine or surface. Once, for whatever reason (too fine a grind?) some coffee grinds escaped the basket, but cleaning is easy to do. The only drawback I have noted is the power cord. Way too short. Should be at least 3 feet so you can place it where you want and not pretty much next to power outlet which could be an issue depending on your house etc. The manual notes that short power line was done for "safety issues" but informs you you can use extension cord or power cord to make up for shortfall of the power cord. Why? Just make it at least 3 feet there is no safety issue.

Super basic pot but works how it's suppose to and keeps the caffeine coming! Good quality for the price

  • I like is the super-humongous filter in which I was able to pack more than 15 grams of finely ground coffee. It is enough coffee to make a 12-ounce cup of very flavorful drink. This machine heats the water to the correct temperature to brew coffee without making it bitter. Maybe that huge filter is supposed to be for tea because when I got to the bottom of my 12-ounce cup, there was about a half teaspoon of coffee sludge that the filter did not keep out. That filter, and the solid plastic (no mesh) filter that also came with this coffee maker are both too wide and too tall to fit into any Keurig model. However, pre-packaged coffee pods that I bought from the supermarket, the ones that are caompatible with Keurig machines, will fit into the small, all plastic, no mesh "carrier" filter to work with this machine. What I don't like is (1) the spattering of the coffee coming out of the drip spout, see photo where my cup, the machine and my countertop were all spattered. (2) The water reservoir is small so I must add water for every cup. (3) The uncovered water reservoir is located next to the pod holder so that after brewing, the condensation is all over everything, EVERYTHING under the lid is wet. coffeemakers.us.com wanted me to rate whether this machine is "easy to clean." My answer is no. I tilted the whole machine over the sink in order to spray hot water over the whole machine to rinse off the condensation and coffee spatter. I suppose that makes it easy to clean.

This travel espressor maker is compact in size (comparing to traditional espresso machine) and accessories for both Nespresso pod and self grounded coffee brewing. This machine makes a great difference compared to others on the market by integrating heating feature to it. This allows use cold water as source and this maker will heat up the water before brewing. This is a great feature to save a space on thermos bottle or water kettle. The all-in-one button was confusing at first, however it works out well after few trials. It provides functions such as battery level check, heat-n-brew, and direct brew feature (just push the water through coffee pod/powder). The beep sound also help to identify the steps (start heating/ready to brew). The LED light also helps to indicate not only battery level but also the water temperature while heating up. Coffee taste wise, I noticed that it's not as great as espresso machine but this is the trade off for a travel espresso maker. And also noticed that through self-ground-coffee would have more crema extracted and the taste is much better. The Nespresso pod holder seemed not really tight to punch holes (only partial) which makes the taste and crema not as great as through Nespresso machine. In general this is a great travel espresso maker and it provide an easy way to make a hot espresso while on the road. Only wish it comes with carrying case (with pre-cut foam) to improve the carrying experience.

  • I bought the KM5 in June, 2023 shortly after it came out. Backordered, I had to wait but it was well worth it. This KM5 perfectly matches my Moccamaster KBG coffee maker. I weigh the beans in the glass cup then dump them the whole beans into the hopper the night before. In the morning I only need to press and hold the button to grind them in the morning. Whole beans won't degrade overnight but ground coffee will. Some have complained about the noise. It's a coffee grinder, it makes noise. I don't know what to say except that it does not bother me in the slightest. I have had cheap grinders over the years and they made more noise, as I recall. Close the door to the kitchen or throw a towel over the grinder if you don't want to disturb others who may be sleeping. Some have complained that you must hold the button during the entire 90 second grinding process. Well, I think that is a very good safety feature. When you look into the clear plastic hopper and see the whirring blades pulverize coffee beans into a consistent powder I'm comforted knowing it will be difficult for someone to stick their fingers to clear something while operating it. The coffee comes out in a consistent grind. Beautiful, actually. There is a finely machined aluminium grind adjustment knob. Truthfully, I set it to 5 1/2 when I bought it and haven't touched it since. For those who care, the night before I measure out 55 grams of whole beans and fill the water reservoir to the 8 cup line on the side of the reservoir. That's 8 six ounce standard coffee cups, not the standard 8 ounce cups you use when measuring cooking ingredients. I highly recommend, along with the matching coffee maker.
