Purchased August 5th. So it was delivered around the 8th. Today is September 14th. The coffee pot no longer works. It has only been used on the weekends. So at the maximum 20 cups of coffee. That is more than a dollar a cup. The return deadline was September 5th. Will not buy this brand again.
As pictured- a critical part of this French press is made of plastic. When tightened the metal threads of the rod break the piece and the entire French press becomes inoperable because the filter press can no longer be tightened on to the end of the rod. I really liked this French press until it broke and I realized that this very important, small piece had been made of plastic. Now I just feel like the whole thing is cheep, and who knows what else would have broken if I had owned it for longer than a month or two
We purchased this unit because it fit the coffee bar area very well and looked very modern and sleek. It worked great for about 10-12 months and then started to fail. More specifically, making the wrong amount of coffee. The max it would make was 2oz at a time. We contact Keurig and they said there was nothing they could do. I pushed them on that and then they gave me 20% discount code (which I could already find online so it it was of little help). I pushed back more and they finally gave me a 40% discount on the purchase of a new unit. We went through with that purchase. Just like the first one we bought, the second unit worked great, for about 11 months. Then then the same thing started happening again. Will only brew 2oz at a time. Not an ideal situation for a busy family. We have had a commercial grade Keurig fail at our office as well, just stopped brewing all together. Important to note that we had kept up on the regular maintenance on the unit as instructed. Including the descaling it recommends every couple of months. We will not be buying a Keurig brewer this time around. Which is unfortunate because they make good looking brewers. Buyer beware!
Started making my own because I didn’t care for the bitterness the concentrates had, and it was just getting too pricey. I chose this one due to the size… I do love my cold brew! It does fit perfect on the shelf in the fridge as well. It does feel like I’m going through a lot of coffee following the included recipe, but I can’t deny it tastes great. I also have found you need to pay attention to the faucet, it does drip a drop or two after you close the valve. I love how quick and easy it is to clean, the filter especially. It feels quality all the way through. I would definitely recommend this for the cold brew coffee lover in your life!
This is quite simply the best coffee pot I’ve ever owned. Fits under my cabinets in my mobile home perfectly. Best cup of coffee I’ve ever made. I did get the stainless funnel and I’ve got the thermal stainless steel carafe ordered. Sure it will be awesome also. As far as coffee maker being loud as I’ve read I’m some reviews. This one isn’t as loud as the plastic bunn you buy at Walmart. I can’t say enough good things about the bunn VP17!!!! Love it!!
I love this machine, nespresso pods are amazing. Coffee is ok. Better than a Keurig but not better than a Ninja (I have had all the Ninja coffee makers and the BP makes great coffee, k cup or grounds). Again love the machine but noticed I'm not getting all the ounces. 6 oz espresso with no pod, straight water is correct. 6 oz with pod is 5 oz, 6 oz pod with bold is 4 ounces. I haven't tested the other sizes. It can take 3 tries for the machine to puncture properly to actually brew espresso. Edit* put the nespresso pod in and walk away. Just wait, don't think about the beeps, it's not immediate and dear lord it makes everything so so good! Now I'm still not getting the full pour but I love it!
I love this French press. It sits on my counter. I don’t drink coffee, and my fiancé only occasionally drinks coffee at home, but we love this French press. I use it on weekends and whenever company comes over with the cream and sugar caddies. Everyone that’s tried the coffee from it has stated that it makes great coffee! I grind coffee for our cold brew carafe, but I use store ground for this. Not espresso, but regular not course grind, and the grounds don’t make it through the mesh into the coffee. I have the entire set and I use the tea pot daily for myself. I had these items on my wedding registry but couldn’t wait that long, so I purchased them! The mechanism works well and the glass is sturdy. I can see that the glass may break at some point during cleaning or pressing, but I’ll replace it with another one rather than something more durable. I love it that much!
Easy to use, easy to clean and excellent price!!!
I originally had the 10-cup HB coffee maker. We upgraded to this 12-cup version. I’ve had this maker for a little over a month now... Cons: - My biggest pet peeve- the coffee spills or leaks EVERYTIME you pour. Always dribbling! The is a big downgrade from the 10-cup version. - the thermos doesn’t have a handle button to push (open) when you pour. Essentially, leaving the pot open at all times. Pros: - love the front load water top (much better than the backload 10-cup version) - coffee stays hot for hours after brewing - easy buttons and user interface - easy cleaning Overall, I don’t recommend this coffee maker. HB did not do their quality homework on pouring coffee for this one!
There was a little piece broken off when I received it. But I'm not shipping the whole thing back! I love the machine so much and it's not something that's not going to affect the functionality. It works fabulous!
I'm very please with this mini coffee maker as is very stylish as well! One of my favorite colpr is turquoise and they have it !! Yay! It is 4 cups maximum, fast making and I recommend to use coffee filters even tho this has an small basket on the inside the is supposedly mean to be the coffee ground! I love the taste of my coffee for 4 full cups I use the spoon thr comes with it and I use two full scope of ground coffee and then add another one only half full so 31/2 scope of coffee with the spoon the came with the coffee maker ! Excellent taste and I drink black coffee without sugar or milk nor creams! I had it sense March and had been working wonderful for me ! No complaints! Is very easy to clean up ! Is small which is one of my favorite things ! Now as you can see from today I actually got up of my desk to fast and I had this connected to my plug and I move to fast and made my coffee maker fall to the floor and the glass pot break, my coffee maker is dirty becauseI just happen to use it ! The pot js Is very thin glass and kinda delicate! I love this soO much I came here to place a second order of it ! I was hoping to find a way to just get my coffee pot 😩 but at this point I don't care if I get the whole entire thing 😅 again because I'm attached to it and I super duper love it!
We bought the new K200 to use in our RV and it has meet all the needs we have, it brews what ever size you want and is perfect every time
This was worth every penny. I am doing KETO and wanted a way to control the amount of sugar and carbs in my iced coffee or frappe. I didn't think I would be using this every day but I'm actually using it at least twice a day, frappe in the morning and iced coffee in the afternoon. ☆☆☆☆☆
This is by far the BEST cold brew maker EVER! Super easy to use, and clean up is a breeze. I had purchased another one before the Asobu and I have now thrown that one away and purchased my second Asobu. You can’t go wrong with the Asobu.
It did not work when we received the product. We followed all the instructions, including soaking the filter for 15 minutes. After an hour of huffing and puffing, it turned 8 cups of water into 4 cups of bitter coffee. We tried running just water through it and it just made billows of steam without producing much in the carafe. While we were cleaning it up to get it ready to return, we turned it upside down to drain out the remaining water and a screw fell out! It looks like the same screw that is used in holding down the lid over the water tank. After removing it, the machine makes coffee in 7 minutes and barely makes any steam. This is horrible quality control. The company obviously didn't test it before sending it out and the employees feel they can grab another screw without finding the one they dropped. I was in need of a coffee maker so I'm happy were able to resolve it. However, I'm sure they've had a few returned with this same problem. As for making coffee, I really can't tell the difference between this and my old Mr. Coffee beyond the fact that this one has a smaller carafe so I have to make coffee more often. While I am able to tell the difference between Maxwell House and good coffee beans, grinds, etc. I don't seem to be snobby enough to tell the difference in machines. As long as I have a fresh decent coffee bean, I'm happy with my coffee, so I feel this was really overpriced.
