  • This morning I noticed a slight crack on the lip of the glass. I spent little more money on this coffeemaker thinking it was a better quality.

Should I return this superman maker and get my money back. I can't use it. The grounds is melting into the flitrer

  • Durable! My last French press broke, this one is strong. It's not for more than two people to enjoy. It's the perfect size for my husband and I! Easy to clean too.

It's a basic coffee maker. Not much more to that! After a year of having a 5 cup maker my husband and I decided to go back to a real coffee maker. One that makes enough for both of us to have a couple cups without constantly making a new pot. It's easy to clean and work. The coffee comes out great and if you like a little more coffee grounds than the next person, there isn't any issue with overflow so far. We've had it over a month and it's working great. Don't bother with fancy coffee makers. What makes good coffee isn't really the pot but the quality of your grounds and the water you use.

  • Was so excited to get this - watched a quick video tutorial to get started but so easy! I had been doing cold brew the hard way and it would sit in the fridge for 24 hrs. Using this it takes about 25 mins (strong brew) with no bitter taste. Very happy - just have to be careful not to break it!

After a good 9-10 months of use, I can say that I would not recommend this grinder. Just for a pour over I have to twist the top to the mocca setting to get a somewhat decent grind for my pour over. Mocca is supposed to make fine grind coffee…. There are still big chunks of beans that come through. That just ends up leaving your coffee to taste bitter once brewed. Also, it leaves lots of static. I’ve passed the return window so I can’t unfortunately return it. I saved up to buy a conical burr grinder so now it feels like a waste of money :/

I recently picked up a personal coffee grinder as well, so I've been waiting for this to come in. I am happy to say that they work well together. When I first pulled the coffee maker out of the box, I noticed that the packaging of the coffee maker wasn't sized properly, and the top of the box wouldn't stay closed. So, when you receive it, make sure to check that everything is good. Everything was good for me, but the manufacturer might want to change their packaging a bit. When I first saw it, I could tell that it is 100% plastic, as it is very light, and not a metal part to be seen. However, everything is good. Nothing is warped, it sits flat on the counter, is very easy to use, and produces a good cup of HOT coffee. When I say HOT, I mean HOT! It works similar to any K-cup system, in fact you can use K-cups in it with the provided adapter, or grind your own and place the grounds in the basket. Put water in the bin, plug it in, and press the appropriate brew button (HOT or cold). A couple minutes later you will have a cup of coffee. I know it looks a little cheap, but it does work. I should be able to make tea with it too, just place the tea bag in the bin and brew it like a cup of coffee. The only thing that I would recommend is, to wipe it down (dry it) after use, rinse out the basket (if used), and leave everything open to dry. That will hopefully make it last a very long time. I'll post back if I run into any issues, while for know I can definitely recommend it. BEST

  • This is for someone who desperately needs a cup of coffee, even if it was brewed like 4 hours ago at their office, because you don’t have time (or sometimes money) to go to your favorite coffee shop. And this was exactly what I needed for now. This works just like one of those in-room coffee makers at hotels. You add coffee grounds, water, and a cup, and press the button—that’s it. There are no bells or whistles. It has that “take it or leave it” kind of attitude. This is not for someone who likes their coffee a certain way, like dark or light brew, or who wants some extra features like a delayed start or auto-pause when you remove the cup in the middle of brewing. Although it is smaller than a standard 12-cup coffee maker, it is so much bigger than the ones at hotels. That’s because it holds more coffee (10 oz) than a small paper cup you’d get at a hotel. It comes with a reusable filter, a 10-oz cup with a lid, and a coffee scoop. I posted a few pictures with a water bottle and a soda can to show comparisons. The product page says it brews in 3 min, but it takes about 6 minutes for me. It’s no big deal, but just as an FYI. The cup keeps the coffee warmer a bit longer than a paper cup but it won’t keep it hot like an insulated cup. And the base doesn’t warm up. As soon as it finishes brewing, it shuts off itself, and it WILL NOT start until it cools off for about 3-4 minutes. I need about 2-3 cups in the morning, but it'll usually be ready by the time I finish my first cup. Although this may not be for everyone, it certainly has benefits. I will eventually get a new coffee maker with lots of bells and whistles, but it sure works for me right now. This will be great if you have limited space. It’ll be great for an RV or small office (so you don’t have to drink the four-hour-old coffee that started staining the bottom of the coffee pot). Just know your priority.

72 once container, can set a turn off time and there is a setting for how hot one wants the water. Now settings for various ounces of water 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12. There is also a descale warning. We set our preferred ounces to 8 and only have to insert a k-cup and hit brew. If we only want hot water, we hit the hot water button instead of the brew button. The only issue I have had is with my reusable k-cups. I have two types. The black rubber seal in the coffee maker lid that seals around the upper needle (see picture) does not seal tight enough against my reusable k-cups. Thus, water leaks out of the reusable k-cup and into the coffee cup and elsewhere. Makes a mess inside and outside. Regular k-cups work great. My personal solution was to remove the needle seal and placing a brass washer around the needle and reinstall the seal to hold the brass washer in place. The leaking problem went away. I don't know if this issue was by design or if my reusable k-cups are just not tall enough to press against the seal when the lid is closed. The brass washer does not come in contact with the water and does not rust.

  • I am so glad I finally switched to glass and this cold brewer specifically! The strainer is a fine metal instead of the plastic of some other kinds so the coffee filters better. Also the top is as wide as the bottle with rubber sealers on the side so your grinds doesn’t get into the bottle when you over fill. Since the strainer is not connected to the lid it is very easy to remove after brewing (you have to remove it before pouring a glass!) and then to clean out afterwards. For those used to the plastic cold brew containers where the filter is hard to hold and then remove, you won’t have the issue any longer. Also a really big plus is since it is glass it won’t get the coffee stain as the plastic ones do and the opening is wide enough to put your hand in or a good scrubber. There is only one down side, but it’s minor. The handle needs to be a bit stronger. When you lift the filled bottle the handle bends, but otherwise I absolutely love this cold brew container!!!

  • This is one fantastic coffee maker. You can tell Ninja cares about customer experience. The water tank comes off to fill easily. The filter cartridge comes off easily AND DOES NOT DRIP so you can walk it over to the trash to dump without a mess. The flavor is great! I love that I can push "keep warm" and it will reheat my coffee in about less than 20 minutes and the flavor is still great! (I'm a mom of young children...I often have to reheat my coffee.) Get this one, it's SO worth it! Lots of great features you'll love.

OMG, get espresso! Great quality, compact, turns off when you remove the pot. This is only my second day but I have had many very expensive espresso pots. That no longer work. Great price! But this makes it like my Mom used to make. I no longer need expensive coffee PODS. Very happy!!!

  • The glass pitcher is great. The metal filter grew mold with the very first use and it couldn’t be cleaned out because the mesh is so fine. So I just use bagged tea for it.
