I was a bit nervous to order this pour over coffee because i’ve had bad experience with reusable filters in the past making the taste weird. But this one is great! It is way faster but the coffee is equally strong. Really nice material and made. The only thing is off, is that I fill it to the 3 mugs mark and it was equal to one mug. But I don’t really mind that so I still highly recommend!

  • I needed a desk top coffee maker. This one fit the bill and came in my favorite color! After the brew cycle completes, there’s room for creamer. It lacks a substantial feel, feels cheap BUT it does the job! Recommend!! UPDATE 05/30/2024 Houston we have a problem. She quit brewing. Womp Womp but it lasted 18 months so given the price point I can't be mad. Off to buy one that will last a little longer

This is a work in progress and in all fairness the people at Moccamaster have been nice, concerned and responsive. So I will update this again when the issue is resolved.. or not. I was impressed with the quality as far as it goes, when i set it up it seemed to work great, but when I went to remove the old grounds I noticed the grounds on the right side were dry. So then I kept the filter cover off to watch the outlet arm theoretically distribute the hot water evenly over the grounds. But as you'll see the water only came out of the first 2 of the 9 holes. I called Moccamaster, again very nice very concerned and their first thought was my counter was not level. Well, I happen to have a very precise level and my counter was absolutely dead level. I then put a level on the base of the machine and it was level. I then put one on the top of the outlet arm and it was a full 1/2 bubble off. The customer service people sent me a new outlet arm and it looked better, just 1/3 bubble off level. But still not enough to get the hot water past the first couple holes. I'm curious current owners when you watch a typical brew cycle for a minute does hot water flow evenly out of all the holes in the outlet arm??? Honestly to me it seems that the holes are so large that its unlikely they flow out of the last holes as well as the first. Possibly a design flaw. Maybe the nearer holes should be smaller and the further out holes should be larger. Keep in mind there will be an initial blast of tepid water with the first perk. This is because the cooler water in the glass tube isn't boiling but being forced up by the boiling water below it. That first perk has a larger volume of water than the remaining perks, the initial blast on mine does reach the far side of the outlet arm but none of the perks after that. Update 2-27-17 they saw my video and confirmed there was an issue, they have asked me to send them my unit and they are sending me a new one. Update 3-21-17 Once again the folks at Moccamaster were very nice and responsive, they acknowledged the issue shown in my video and I received the new unit, it may be slightly better than the first one but after now watching two units function its clear to me there is a basic and kinda dumb design flaw. The outlet arm has so many large holes in it that only the first 3 really flow water. the remaining holes seldom show any discharge of hot water...maybe a drop occasionally. Do not think the first perk with its higher volume of tepid water is typical of the rest of the perks. The coffee is not beig brewed by this high volume low temp initial blast of water. its being brewed by the subsequent high temp perks of boiling water. Why with all this thought and hand assembled engineering wouldn't they make the first few holes smaller. or have less of them so that every perk sprayed/distributed hot water evenly over the grounds like a Bunn or Cuisinart or many other mid level coffee makers. i'll bet most folks who have given this 5 stars never really tuned into how it really functions.

    It was broken

  • Love this mini coffee machine. The first one I bought was for work and I love the functionality and easy use of it. It brews exactly what you put in the reservoir in less than 2 minutes. Good nice hot cup of coffee in no time without taking much space. Perfect for my husband when I’m not home to make him a expreso.

This is exactly what wanted. A small, simple and cheap coffee brewer. It comes with the little scooper- 1 level scoop per serving is perfect. The serving size is about 6oz, so the 4 serving carafe will make about 2 mugs (which is all I want). I'm very happy with this purchase, what more do you want for 12 bucks?.. Also I took a gamble ordering this one,as I wanted the white one and it seems that their listings are screwed up.. Anyway, I got white just like the other reviews said. The listing with the black one is about $20. If you're looking for small white coffee maker, get this..why not?. Plus the mccafe Columbian is delicious! 😋

I was impressed by how fast the coffee is ready! Takes just 2-3 minutes for 4 cups of coffee (2 for me and my husband)

I ordered this to replace my four year old Mr. Coffee that died during brewing my morning cup. I loved my Mr. Coffee, and the honest truth is I only ordered this one because it met my two requirements: (1) Free same day delivery. (2) Red. I suppose the other requirement would be that it was within a budget that wouldn't break the bank. Red coffee makers are expensive, y'all. I waited over a month to write this review so that I could form a true opinion, and I can honestly say that it's great. The timed brew function works as expected. You can hit a button for a smaller amount of coffee (one to four cups). You can also use that button for a bigger pot, if you'd like to make it a stronger brew. And maybe this is shallow, but it's pretty. I'm slowly replacing all of my appliances (as they wear out) with red. It looks fantastic on my black granite counter top in my kitchen done with apples and red accents. While I would call this a true red (as in, not burgundy or maroon), it's not exactly a bright red either. I've attached a picture to show how it looks. I love it.

We own multiple sizes of this coffee press. The smallest size (2 cup) leaks badly when you pour. The press is well made and works well other than this problem. The larger sizes do not have this issue.

I just used this coffee maker for the first time today and it's working well and makes great tasting coffee. This is a smaller coffee maker to save space and it only makes a maximum of 5 cups. This coffee maker is perfect for making my wife a small pot of coffee in the morning as she only drinks a few cups. I really like how small and compact it is and saves a lot of space on the counter in the kitchen. Also the little top fill part is nice as I can keep it near the back of the counter under the cabinets and it won't have to be moved out toward the edge of the countertop. It's also pretty quiet when making a fear cups of coffee and it makes it quickly. There is no programmable part on this coffee maker it's just a simple on off switch. I think this coffee maker would work well in apartments that have small kitchens or maybe a college dorm room as its really small and saves space. I would recommend this coffee make it works well.

I love to go camping and hiking and I also love me some coffee. This portable espresso maker definitely helps when I am not able to make myself some coffee. The unit fits nicely in a backpack when hiking or in a suitcase when traveling. Some hotels don't have coffee makers so this unit helps with those occasions. One thing to remember is that this is an espresso maker not a coffee maker. You wont get a nice 8oz cup of joe. You get a nice espresso shot. You could brew multiple times to get a larger cup, but just sipping on an espresso shot in the morning or after a long day hiking can do the job. The directions weren't the best, but it is a pretty simple machine. Put water in, (hot or cold) then press the button according to the water temperature used. I have used both hot and cold water with this, and I would say using hot is best, but I know when you are on the go it isn't always an option. The unit heats the water well but it doesn't get as hot as if you were to add boiling water. It also takes about 5 minutes to heat the water, so it isn't necessarily the fastest. Overall this produced a nice shot of espresso. Sure it isn't the equivalent of a high end countertop machine, but when I'm on the go, it does just fine.

  • This coffee maker has a wide variety of making capabilities, while remaining easy to use. The first thing you're going to want to do is run one carafe of water through it. After that, you can use it however you want! I love that it has a reusable coffee basket so we can stay green and not impact the environment negatively. There are a lot of different ways to program the maker or to use it spontaneously. This is a really good-looking appliance. we have a few stainless steel and black appliances and this one is the star! We plan to get a lot of use out of this coffee maker. I also appreciate that it has a clock on it not only to be able to program it to run whenever we want but because it's handy to know the time. Love it!

  • This is a high quality product! As soon as I recieved the pitcher I made a test batch with Bustelo and it came out perfect! Let the experimenting begin!

After two times making coffee, I noticed the lid makes a green color ooze and it leaks on the coffee. Not sure what it is, but it made me returned it right away as I do not want to drink what ever that is. Also it has California Prop 65 warming, which is an automatic no.

This is a very simple coffee maker. This is a good purchase if you just want something simple and easy to make your coffee. That’s exactly why i got it. The only thing that frustrated me was that when i was pouring my coffee in my coffee cup, a little spilled out from the sides. Not that serious but a heads up if it happens to you. Only buy if you don’t need anything fancy.
