It's a little work to make coffee but it's good coffee and worth the effort, I like this product and also my friend are very impressed with it.
I've tried a couple of these and this one works on all of my mugs. Some versions don't work if the handle of the mug is too high. The glass isn't thick, so be careful with is. The first one I received was cracked. All in all though, I like this one the best! P.S. I use a stainless steal filter. I don't like the taste of paper filters. It fits perfectly!
I had difficulty setting up the dispenser before using it because it would not flush the water to clean the machine, though I followed the manual step-by-step. It eventually worked and was easy to use after the initial hurdles. I prefer using the machine for hot water rather than making coffee. That is because the water flow makes the ground coffee jump up and out of the filter to its edges, and I end up with grains of coffee in my drink, though the filter I use does not get folded. The filters I use are the same size as the one in the machine's container, so the grains would stay at the bottom if the water flow was not so high. My other issue is that the machine triggers the surge protector when I use it simultaneously with the milk frother. I do not have the same problem with any other coffee machine. I have to use them one at a time, which leads me to believe that the dispenser uses more power than others. I like that you can choose from six drink sizes.
Been using this little guy for 4 or 5 months now. With prices at the coffee shops moving into ludicrous territory, this thing is a must for me. May take you some trial and error to find the right coffee/grind for it. I use Peet's Decaf Major Dickason's Roast (pre-ground). I've tried some cheapr pre-ground coffee to bring the cost down more (coffeemakers.us.com Fresh and Great Value brand ground coffee), but the water just don't filter through right. Even though you use a good amount of grounds per pot, it's still considerably cheaper that anything you can go buy. I was concerned how the filter screen would hold up, and I think it'll be the first thing to break, but so far it's been fine. Little messy to clean out, but not a huge deal. I just put some Vanilla soy milk, a touch of agave nectar, and a big ice cube in it and good to go! I get about two 12 oz glasses and one 16 oz glass out of each pot. Holds 40 oz of water. It comes out a little less than that as the grounds hold some of it, but once you add fixin's into your glass, it's right back up to around 40 oz.
This coffee maker is solid. The coffee comes out very hot and tastes great. The only note I have is that I found a flat bottom grind to be better than a cone grind. I think because the water is so hot it benefits to have a slightly courser grind than usual. Also the white reusable filter is nice, its easy to see that all the grounds have been cleaned out properly. Plus the coffee maker is reallllly cute. Highly recommend.
Exact what we were looking for. Easy to use. Not too bulky.
We were looking for a White coffee maker. Our old one was too big. This is the perfect size for what we wanted and makes the same amount of coffee. Very happy with our choice!
Convenience! It saves time and space.
I really like this coffee maker especially cause of the programing functionality - I just wish I could program the single serve and not only the Carafe option. Also, I think the brewing/dispensing is a bit slower than other machines I've used, but if you are not as impatient as I am, you probably won't notice. In all, I'm happy with this purchase. Fast delivery and looks exactly as advertised.
After 7 months a circle crack at the bottom. I wash it with hot water before putting in the hot water for the coffee, so this shouldn't have happened.
Works great !
It is good love it
Love this product! The kit is complete with all the necessary fitting and all of the parts seem good quality. I installed it in my Ninja CFN601 with one valve about two inches from the reservoir (easy access) and one valve upstream of the tee. It took a minute to figure out the positioning because the reservoir has molded hand grips that could interfere with the float, depending on the location of the valve on the reservoir cover and the axial rotation of the valve. With careful alignment it fits just fine. That said, installing the shutoff valve to be accessible from the countertop is critical- in case the float binds. The valves and fittings are John Guest-type fittings, which are superior to compression fittings and leak resistant when moved/bumped. I was trying to piece together a kit like this using brass parts, but this works well and is probably better than any kit I could have cobbled together.
I love cold brew coffee since it’s less acidic and better for my stomach. A friend got me an Instant Pot as a birthday present. It’s okay but I don’t feel it tastes like cold brew. When I saw this Dash one online, I thought I would try it out. I was actually blown away by it. I did a side by side comparison and found that the Dash one was like actual cold brew. You can see from the images that the Instant Pot cold brew looks murky and has way more sediment in it while the dash was darker, stronger and didn’t have any sediment. The Dash Cold Brew Maker made my cold brew 3 minutes faster than the Instant Pot. I love the Dash maker because it’s actual cold brew and has a better smoother taste. Would recommend to cold brew lovers.
The display decided to crap out and not work. It's very difficult to even brew a cup of coffee or tea.
