  • I have had several french press coffee makers and by far this one is the best. It looks sleek and would go well in any kitchen. 5 stars 🌟

  • I have been trying to get coffee right with this thing for an entire week. The whole idea of it was so I could make quick cold brew. I have been using the countertop 12 hour method for a while and have been super happy with the results. Sometimes I run out though and don’t feel like waiting 12 hours for more so thought this was going to be amazing. I read through reviews and tips. The picture on the left is what I get using the recommended amount of coffee and water with the Dorothy and the picture on the right is what I got when I used the same amount of coffee and water with traditional soaking methods. They are both using the same coarse grind and the same beans. The Dorothy coffee has been passed through a paper filter and I have not passed the other coffee through anything other than a mesh filter. Not sure what I am doing wrong but all I am getting is a muddy cloudy mess even after filtering. It doesn’t taste terrible and it will do in a pinch but this is not something I would be comfortable serving to guests because it looks gross.

Takes time to heat the water. My last Keurig didn't have to do that that's a slight inconvenience in the mornings before work. It's louder than my last one as well. Hopefully it lasts longer tho. It does what I need it to. There is room for a 20 Oz mug to fit so that's really nice.

  • This French press is amazing! I ordered the robin blue color and it's such a vibrant look! The double vacuum sealed insulation works great and keeps coffee hot for a pretty long time. The pot comes with a little container you can use to hold things or measure out your coffee, creamer, flavoring, etc. The pot holds enough to make two standard size cups of coffee, or one large travel cup. Everything is easy to clean and making coffee was a breeze! I would definitely recommend for first time French press users!  I would order again or as a gift for another coffee lover like myself!

I loved this machine. Especially as it froths and warms up the milk in the same vessel as it dispenses the coffee, all in one step. Downside as I see with many other reviews, the electronics fail and now it is not working, at all. Customer service was helpful. I guess I’ll wait a couple of weeks for a free replacement. I did note after looking at the underside of my machine today to get the serial number for the tech that there are some signs of this particular machine having been opened in the past.

  • The ONLY reason this doesn’t get all stars is because when you go to pour from the coffee pot into a cup or the water into the reservoir, you have to pour incredibly slow of it spills out and gets all over the counter. Other than that, it is very lightweight, programmable function works fine, and the brew strength is great! It’s only been set up for a few days so I will update when it gets longer.

  • This is the 2nd one I buy, my little sister kept my 1st as she too loved it - this is a MUST for a caffeine lover of both hot and cold brew. It's quick, easy, and reasonably priced. I did want to make note of a review seen here where the carbon filter and disc were deemed "unknown items".. they are NOT! The box comes with instructions and explanation that it's a water filter/disc used to put over the brewer to aid in water purification. It has a red arrow indicator that moves to the first letter of said month as a reminder to change every 30 days. Another review I've seen is that the brewer is "messy" as it splashes when using a mug/smaller cup as opposed to a taller one; I feel that for what it does a quick rag/paper towel wipe isn't too much to ask. 10/10 recommend!

The best coffee maker! I love the size of the sturdy carafe. The handle is comfortable for my arthritic hands. I like the feature of the different level ‘shelf’, so you can move it up and brew right into your cup, or take it out and brew right into your travel mug. My husband likes his coffee brewed straight in the reusable filter, I prefer to cut a paper filter to put in the mesh one to cut down on the fine grounds that can slip through the mesh one. It doesn’t have a hot plate, so I warm up my mug w/the cream in the micro first. Very easy to clean.

I am a loyal customer to Cuisinart, and particularly love a conical burr grinder coffeemaker that you can use whole beans in. These aren't cheap. The machine wouldn't stay on after it ground the beans and made the coffee, so the pot would not stay warm. We called their number. Oh, they were more than willing to replace it, but as you can see by the pictures, you MUST cut the cord and send them a picture before they would process your request; they didn't want you to return the product. So what do we do while we are without a coffeemaker? Do you go buy another one? Do you go buy coffee at the local fast food place/service station/Starbucks? And how many $$ will that set you back? I'm not happy to say the least. AND there's no compensation offered to supplement your coffee expenses. I've done the surveys and complained.

Best thing I’ve ever purchased! Sounds like an exaggeration but I mean it! A Keurig will totally improve your morning coffee routine. I can make a cup of coffee in like 1 minute and it tastes perfect every time because I don’t have to measure the coffee and water like you do with traditional coffee makers. It’s also very easy to use and it was very easy to learn. I also love that I can easily make different flavors/brands of coffee for me and my husband every morning. Brewing traditional pots of coffee is very time consuming when you brew 2 different varieties; but not with a Keurig! I can make me and my husband 2 different flavors of coffee in under maybe 3 minutes! At night I love to use my Keurig to make a cup of tea. It’s gotta be the quickest and easiest way to make a cup of tea! I am a Keurig user for life and think every coffee and tea drinker should have one; it will be the best thing you ever buy!

  • Purchased this twice. first one broke after 3 months, company sent a new one and it lasted 8 months. I won't even call customer service this time . Sending it to recycle bin.

  • The Cuiscent French press is very fancy and beautiful the filter is superb and has a filter replacement the measurements are straightforward to read making it very practical the anti-slip at the bottom makes the pressing very secure all around. It is a great French press

For the price you can't beat it but as mentioned before the heating chamber continuously cycles. Your red light turns off after brewing but it kicks back on every 10 min or so if you forget to switch it off. Besides that fire hazard I would definitely recommend:)

I love everything about this coffee maker, especially that there’s no carafe to break! The full – empty gauge is so good. However…the dispenser light never worked. Took it apart, and it’s impossible to fix or replace. As others have said, the extra filter doesn’t fit this model (and it’s impossible to return it.) Wasteful!
