The working parts can go in the dishwasher. Amazing. Why they all don't do this is strange. There are no tricks to learn, the entire top tips up to easily pour a full pot of water in, and filling the filter with coffee is a breeze. I have owned coffeemakers where pouting the water in meant getting a mop, and have had some strangely engineered filter holders - a thing of the past. The clock is easy to adjust. Amazing!
After having a Keurig for years bought a smaller one. This smaller Keurig worked well for about 3 months then the problems began. Machine percolates and percolates but coffee barely drips drop by drop or doesn’t pour at all. Really disappointed as return window is only one month. Now I have a useless Keurig I paid $79 for. So disappointed
Poor quality. I’m glad I opened it before I gave it to my wife for Mother’s Day. coffeemakers.us.com’s return policy is great though. Ordered a different brand
Lid will never close. It's how it's made. But it works fine
We love our coffee, but the percolator coffee we were testing at home wasn't working out too well. A week before our first camping trip this season, we did a quick search for a stainless-steel French press which led us to this coffeemakers.us.com find. I's a wonderful find - the cute style, the coffee's taste and the length of time it stays hot, the durability of this press (granted it's only been on one trip but it doesn't look like it's been packed with a variety of camping gear in a tote).
Bought this to replace my ancient 4 cup brewer. Looks good & good size for 1 or 2 people (pic 1). It comes with a filter basket but I use small size paper filters & run a little water to keep sides from flopping over. Both the supplied filter basket & the regular basket come out for easy cleaning. I didn't have problem with swing arm knocking over filter paper (pic 2). I poured in exactly 5 cups as measured by the pot & got out exactly 5 cups (pic 3). The autopause worked as its intended. Only 2-3 drops of liquid when I removed pot in the middle of the brew. The delayed brew worked as it should. Just remember to push the "delay" button then WAIT for the clock to blink before setting the delay time. I was too quick & just reset the clock function instead of setting the delay time. It made some gurgling noise during brewing but nothing loud or unexpected. Lastly - pic 4 shows a few plastic pieces that fell out of the box when I took everything out. Don't know where they came from or if they belonged to anything in the brewer but it works perfectly & nothing leaks. Hopefully it will last as long as my old brewer.
Awesome device, but paint chipping away just after 2 uses
I have been searching for a perfect coffee maker for a quite awhile now... I read multiple reviews and decided to buy this unit....Maybe I should've done more research... This unit was a huge let down wit major design flaws.... Pro: Delivery.. coffeemakers.us.com delivered this product as they promised.. Cons: Where do I start? You have to leave this coffee machine on at all time. "internal heat chamber" is a joke. You have to keep water in the chamber at all time or this machine will not work properly. Personally, I do not trust the design and I do not think water will be fresh without filter system..Strike one. You have to perform a stupid machine initiation... It's easy but def unsual step for a machine that nearly cost $100.... Lastly, it didn't brew $100 machine worth cup of joe. I tried to like it but the water stream or they called "shower" was wayy too strong and the outcome was extremely disappointing.
This single cup coffee maker was a good choice. It is cheaper than a keurig. Love the color and the cup it comes with. Easy to use and made a good cup of coffee
Makes pretty good coffee, easy to use
It's a French press and works as it should. I love the double filter layout. Somehow I still got a coffee ground in my cup, but who cares. The ground tastes as good as the coffee I'm drinking! Anyway, the double wall feature genuinely helps with maintaining hot coffee in the press while I'm sipping down the first cup. The bonus jar for extra coffee will help on those long days at school and I"m feeling extra hipster enough to tote around my press. I had one small imperfection with this product that I thought was awfully annoying considering the price you pay for this over the cheap glass Bodum. On the spout, there is pitted metal. I look at it, and the story I see is the metal on spout started to develop a form of pitting corrosion, which was then removed safely. After all, stainless steel can still corrode! I don't feel justified in removing any starts since it does not affect the French press at all.
Who ever heard of a coffee maker with no clock? Well you have now. Since there's no clock, if you want it to turn on at a certain time, you'll have to use a smart plug. Now when I wake in the morning, I say "Alexa, Good Morning" and my bedroom fan turns off and my closet lights come on and my coffee maker turns on. It works perfect! There is a sleep timer. You have to choose a time in the Managers Menu (23456). There's also a Technicians Menu (34567).
I was previously drinking close to $20 in iced coffee at home each week so I purchased this to curb that habit, and I don’t think it’s taken a day off since 😂 It’s easy to clean, easy to use and makes both great quality and great tasting coffee at home. I love that the filter is easy to remove and clean and keeps grounds out of my coffee. I can make a gallon of iced coffee in about 48 hours!
My husband loves coffee and I’ve been trying to get him to branch out from instant roasts for a long time—finally convinced him with this! It’s quick and easy and works great. No risk of forgetting to empty the filter!
