This is our 3 year old $300 delux Breville coffee maker. Note the electrical tape on the carafe lid holding it together. It makes a great cup of coffee but we can not find a replacement lid or even a replacement carafe with a new lid (for $60) anywhere. For more than one year, Breville and all their dealers claim they have nothing in stock. Yes, I realize there are supply chain issues, but Breville seems to be able to stock new coffee makers complete with carafes and lids, but can't set aside anything for their existing customers that need replacement parts. Ridiculous. We've been good customers of Breville but I"m starting to think they are just not committed to customer service. Buyer beware.

  • Nice and portable. Perfect for travel. I'va been using it for over a month. Almost daily. It's robust, durable, really good quality. Awesome product.

  • I purchased the Tchibo Automatic Espresso & Coffee Machine with Built-in Grinder for new homeowners who are empty nesters and coffee lovers, and it was the perfect gift! They were thrilled with the machine’s quality and the ability to brew fresh coffee without needing pods. The built-in grinder ensures a rich, flavorful cup every time. It’s sleek, easy to use, and a great addition to their kitchen. Highly recommend for anyone who loves coffee and wants a high-quality brewing experience!

  • This pour over is amazing and super chic. It makes fantastic coffee and it’s pretty easy gauge coffee strength preference (intuitive measurements after first use). I love that I can carry the set over to my desk and sip to enjoy rather than having to pour a full cup and drinking stat while it’s still perfect to our tastebuds liking. So happy with my purchase, highly recommend for the chic and single households ; )

  • No coffee maker is perfect and realize the $20 coffee makers make coffee just fine. I don't mind spending a bit more for quality. Had a Braun before this which was OK but many silly issues and the fact the clock lost a minute a day so I had to adjust all the time. This is so close to perfect as the quality is awesome, the coffee is amazing(the brewing concept is perfect!), it looks great & overall easy to clean. The only recommendations I would ask and this could be an easy fix is lines on the carafe that show the amount of coffee in the pot (I know thats weird but I like to leave enough coffee for my wife and I have to estimate with this one). Also a pet peeve is the water reservoir does not breathe at all. So say if you turn it off and leave it will fill full of condensation. Work around is what I pictured by tilting the top over on the rear which is fine but a few vent holes would eliminate this work around. You cant add the the rear of sides as the measurement for 12 cups goes almost all the way to the top. I always try to clean the basket and leave it open through the day as moisture is just not good for coffee makers. Overall its AMAZING!!!!!! We have gone through 3 or 4 mid level makers (Braun, Krups, Cuisinart, etc and this by far the best bang for your buck!

  • I just got this to replace the other Coleman coffee maker that needs to be placed on a burner. That coffee maker is painfully slow and had begun to fail due to lots of use. I haven’t brewed coffee with this yet, but I did the initial “clean out” pot of greasy water. 1: The unit brewed the entire pot in 21 minutes (80 degree outdoor temperature). 2: The unit didn’t hold the whole 10 cups, but it wasn’t 4 cups short as others have indicated. I fount it about 1/2-3/4 of a cup short. 3: the unit didn’t seem to “lose” and water during the brew, as others have indicated. The brewed pot had just under the 10 cup mark after it was finished (picture attached of pot after the fresh water brew). I will update the review once I have had a few pots of actual coffee through it.

Edit: the company replaced the defective unit with a new one and that replacement has now lasted 10 years and it is still going. I haven’t used it a lot, but it still works just like new. I guess my first one was just a fluke. The outside of the coffeeboxx seems to be well thought out and well made. It is the internals of the machine that seem to be made to poor standards. My coffeeboxx only brewed around 10 cups of coffee before the pump completely stopped working. I returned the unit immediately and a month later I still haven't received a replacement. With an item this expensive I would expect better customer service. I will update my review a few months after I get my replacement and decide if this was just one bad machine or a faulty design.

I had been using the standard design for a pour-over cone filter, with some issues. The ridge on the bottom, meant to center the filter on a mug, was so close in diameter to that of my bottle's mouth that it was a risky, tippy affair to use. The four holes in the bottom of the old filter were spread wider than the diameter of my bottle's mouth, so some always dripped down the side of the bottle. I had to make coffee into a separate container, and then pour it into the bottle. Problems solved! This one fits easily (my bottles have a 2-3/16" OD mouth), and there's only a single hole in the bottom of the filter so all the coffee ends up in the bottle. No tipping, no spills, no mess.

I bought my first Cuisinart DGB-700BC coffeemaker in March 2014. In January 2016, the element shorted out and the coffeemaker spewed smoke and died. I replaced it with the same model on January 19, 2016. Today March 16, 2016, after grinding the coffee, the coffeemaker didn't run water through the filter. So we reset it and ran it again with the grind off. After completing its cycle, caustic smoke started to spill from under the hot plate. I removed the pot, and the plate turned red and spewed fire. I quickly unplugged the pot, but the kitchen was filled with smoke. We will not be buying another one--they are just too dangerous.

  • This brewer got the perfect size even for a smaller fridge . Super easy to use and assemble. Had some problems with the first one which was leaking. Contacted the seller and they replaced the brewer . Awesome customer server ! Now i enjoy my cold brew coffee. Thinking about buying a second one for my daughter who also loves cold brew but flavored 😊

This coffee maker seemed to brew coffee at a higher temperature than what I'm used to. This made the coffee slightly more bitter depending on the type of coffee. The worst part about it was that the hot plate got super rusty in just a few months. Do yourself a favor, and get the cheaper models. This one isn't worth the extra price.

  • Love the style, makes good coffee but obviously this is a problem and not 1 yr old.

This is pretty sweet. I needed a change from making tea on the range or woodstove and while adding another specialty appliance is mind numbing, the simplistic way to brew makes it worth it to me. I always want strength in the brew and steeping for long periods of time often busts tea bags. Setting this for strong with 12 tea bags makes for a perfect brew for my personal taste. It brews at around 200 degrees and helps make simple work steeping the tea for the short period of time it takes at about 12 minutes brew time. I like to use a blend of green tea and orange pekoe and add some turmeric, black pepper and local honey for a nice anti inflammatory blend and it tastes perfect. This machine makes it simple however storing it’s large footprint not so much but I feel it’s worth it. One flaw (that I can look beyond) is that it does not have a closure for the spout on the pitcher. It would have been nice to have a closure so it can be placed in the fridge without drawing in smells and flavors hurling around in there.
