Product had several rust spots new in box. I had this in my cart for well over a month going back and forth with the price. So disappointed.
Garbage poorly made
I really like this cold brew jar. Compared to most other cold brew systems this is very slim and fits easily into the door of your fridge or any other area where a normal bottle would fit. The glass container, as well as the metal strainer and the plastic lid and strainer holder are well made and sturdy, yet they all are also easy to clean. All you have to do is fill the mesh strainer with ground coffee until the right mark and then fill the whole container with cold water and keep it in the fridge for 18-24 hours. It also comes with a small fridge magnet which gives instructions how to make brews of different strength. After removing the filter, you can mix it with your favorite flavors, sweeteners and cream and then drink right from the jar, or pour it over ice and serve it that way. I love this new way of making cold smooth and delicious coffee.
We have been loving our coffee maker. Nice to have the convenience of drip coffee with really great flavor.
Our quest for a good quality thermal coffee maker led us through several price ranges and brands, Unfortunately we had problems with all of them leaking coffee everywhere during the brew process from the lid assembly. This coffee maker worked great for the first 30 days, Coffee tasted great on regular mode (bold was way too strong), and the list assembly is top notch. Comes out piping hot. However, the carafe has recently sprung a leak. There's a seam that runs around the base where it's put together. During the brew process, small amounts of coffee bubbles out, but it seems to stop when the brew process is done. We have sent out for a replacement from coffeemakers.us.com. If it stays leak free, I'll bump this back to 5 stars because it's an otherwise great coffee maker.
Update March 29.2023: I was able to contact the seller directly and had immediate response. They are sending out a new lid! I did have to complete a form and include model#, model date (located on the bottom of unit), original receipt, purchased from and include photos. I am extremely impressed with how this was handled and response time. Customer service was spot on! I would definitely recommend this unit. March 29.2023: I purchased this as a house warming gift. Great simple coffee maker with a hot pot of fresh brew within 7mins! Simple minimal design with a couple flaws. 1) make sure to pour over the sink this does leak. 2) the lid push lever broke after 6 months. Would I recommend this product...Yes, several reasons. It makes a fresh brew (no bitters) within 7mins. I have read comments regarding flavor of coffee I suspect they are not using fresh (whole bean) grind at home. I like the carafe. I like the simple design with one push button on/off design. This all being said after the hefty price tag I feel the lid design and leaky pour should definitely NOT be happening. I have had other pricey models with heated reservoir and 6 minute drip. The Bonavita makes a perfect cuppa in 7mins and without a bitter taste, this model fits under the cabinet. Good looking sleek design, and great customer service.
I love this little gadget! I got it a couple of days ago and used it right away. I loaded it with 10 ounces of fresh coarsely ground french roast and five cups of filtered water. After waiting 15 hours, I had the best cold brew. It made four cups of coffee concentrate that I placed in the refrigerator and lasted me for three days. I like to have several iced coffees a day. It works very well and it is all hands free, pretty much.
This makes great coffee and is a nice way to make pour over coffee!
This was great until… It exploded and caused a giant mess. Luckily no one was around too close when it exploded. We only used the machine for about 3 and 1/2 weeks before it happened and shortly after this explosion we started to notice water leaking from underneath the machine. I assume from the water reserve? Other than that it’s compatible with both K cup and Nespresso/espresso pods.
I did not write an immediate review because I wanted to use this coffee pot for a while, something brand new is almost always great. We purchased this pot in September of 2015 and while it makes really great coffee, the little glass cap that goes in the top started to chip away almost immediately. We used aluminum foil to hold it in place because every time you tried to lift the lid the glass cap fell out. Eventually even the aluminum foil wouldnt hold it in place, so we started to use the second glass cap that came with it. I can see why they were generous enough to send two caps because after only about 2 weeks, the second glass cap simply broke in half and the bottom half fell into our coffee! See photos. Of course we had to throw the pot of coffee away for fear of glass chips. So now we are back to trying to hold the original glass cap in place with bigger pieces of aluminum foil and risking glass chips in our coffee I suppose. coffeemakers.us.com says our return time has expired so no recourse there. They are happy to sell us another two glass caps for $10. Expected better considering the price of this little 9 cup coffee pot.
Love this cute little Turkish coffee machine! When you push the brew button just hold it for 1 quick second or it won’t start brewing. Other than that it’s great!
We have owned this for almost a year and we have loved it, however the handle is now starting to separate from the body. I came onto coffeemakers.us.com to look for another one and saw that a lot of others have updated their reviews saying this was the only problem.
When I ordered & received this product I expected an ok made percolator but BRAVO the price was really a terrific deal. This percolator impressed me, it is very well made the material is thick heavy it’s beautiful and works great. Been a while since I’ve had on the stove percolated coffee and it was a great cup of coffee .
From a functional perspective having the convenience to be able to use both K-cups and the original Nespresso caps is very nice. However, certain Nespresso capsules did not play nicely and would stick or not function effectively leaving behind a mess to clean up. Fortunately I learned early which brand were the main offenders and adjusted my purchasing accordingly. The big downside with this model is the lack of durability and as experienced by other users the case began to crack after a year of use. See images. As such I cannot recommend this model until improvements are made to eliminate this defect.
