This item is very well made and looking great! Really high quality and they paid attention to details. The sifter is amazing and does a great job. You’ll end up with an excellent coffee and tolls that are easy to maintain and clean. I highly recommend!!
This morning marks the 100th time I've used this coffee maker. Since receiving this from my wife for Christmas it is the only way that we have made coffee in our house. Using the same coffee that we've been using for years, we are making better-tasting coffee that has ruined us for anything else. I have tried pour-overs from several cafes and they're ok but not nearly as good as what I make with this.

This Vietnamese Coffee Maker would be better if there was a flap to lift the lid and a handle on the cup with a pour spout. When I poured the coffee over the ice, there was a dribbled mess so every time I use it I have to be prepared for the cleanup. The lid has no flap so if I wanted to add more hot water, it’s a struggle to take off the lid especially since I just poured hot water into the filter. A handle on the cup would make it easier to hold and pour when the coffee is hot. I’m on the fence about recommending it, although the coffee it produces tastes like authentic strong Vietnamese coffee and it looks like a nice set, I’d use a different cup when pouring it over ice.
Received this coffee maker on Jan 3rd, makes good coffee but the carafe glass is very thin. A few days ago I noticed that the carafe was cracked, not sure if it was the heat, only rinsed out the pot, never actually washed.

Pro: This french press is very easy to use and clean. I loved it so much that I bought another one. Con: The plastic piece that holds the screen onto the plunger can easily break. This one flaw can completely ruin your french press so be extremely careful. Other information: I personally like to grind my own whole beans when using this product to ensure that it's not too fine. I find that store-bought grounds sometimes does not separate as well, and I end up with grounds in my coffee.

Disliked the very minimal water dripping onto the plate when you go to pull out the carafe during, and after, it’s brew cycle. It is a good value for the money Coffee Maker without all the bells and whistles I payed years ago for an expensive one. Bought this because K-Cups are becoming very expensive. It is a actually nice to grind beans again, smell coffee when I wake up, and pour a fresh cup.
This item can be used for either coffee or tea. However, because it is glass. I recommend that you allow it to cool in the counter before placing it in the fridge when using coffee grounds. Ideally, you are supposed to put the coffee grinds inside of the inner container, then pour hot water over it, and let it seep. However, hot water, glass, and the fridge are inimical to each other’s best interests. Let the container cool, then place it in the fridge for best results. The taste will still be amazing! The size of this container should yield around four small cups, and it’s very easy to use. I recommend it!
I followed directions. Hand washed carafe and filter. Ran water only through the machine. Picked up carafe and it broke near the handle. Terrible quality!
If you’re considering buying this, definitely do it. Prior to purchasing this I used a Keurig, but I found myself in the Starbucks line more often than not. After hearing so many good things about the Nespresso machines, I decided to purchase this machine in a bundle with the aeroccino. I have made my coffee at home everyday since. I’d argue it’s better than Starbucks, plus you’re saving so much in the long run. I also loved that this comes with 12 different pods for you to try. Can’t recommend enough!
I actually really like this machine. With reusable filters, it makes great coffee (the pods are expensive over time). BUT … the tiny little plastic piece broke that acts as a hinge for the shelf - which is also used as the handle to clean out the used filter compartment. So now I have to put my espresso cup on the lower shelf and it splashes all over. It’s still functional, so I’ll keep using it. But I’m sad. This espresso machine was a special present to myself. I set up a coffee station and everything.
Well packed coffee maker. Easy to use in just seconds after first rinsing out the metal filter and carafe. Just put the cold water in the area directly behind the water level indicator and fill to how many cups of coffee you want. Usually, one scoop of coffee grounds per number of cups you want but everyone is different. Then just push the Brew Button and wait. I didn't use the timer functions as I just make coffee right when I want it. The little scooper included is especially flimsy and cheap and you will want something better. Although this brewer has plastic parts I did not smell any odor nor taste any plastic taste in the coffee. It works very well. The glass carafe is good for the amount that it holds and is easy to clean. The metal filter rinses out well also.
