• We got the Sur La Table drip coffee maker to replace one that was dying in our AirBnB. It comes with a fine mesh filter that can be used for most medium ground coffees, but is a mess to clean if you don't have a garbage disposal or have renters doing it (we leave unbleached paper filters for our guests). The coffee maker has a touch screen with one button for determining the number of cups to brew and the same button (held longer) to set the coffee "strength." This is beyond the capabilities of most guests to figure out. It can be programmed to auto-run, but this assumes there is water and coffee in place (again questionable for guests). It has another button for off/on and goes off automatically after 4-hours (a long time in a rental unit) . Overall, it brews decent coffee. But not recommended for a rental situation.

  • This exploded in my face burned me in the face and splattered way across my kitchen... would not recommend to anyone very dangerous

I will update this review as needed, but right now I am just plain frustrated. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and what is the one thing you want on a long holiday weekend when it's only 12° out? Yup... Coffee from our just delivered K575 bought with Christmas money. My usually non-coffee drinking husband had the idea to get one. I had been wanting one for years. Imagine our excitement. I set it up AFTER fully reading the instructions. Ran the 1st water only 8oz. cup through. Then I settled in to relax for the day with a 10oz. cup of one of the samplers included in the box. Brilliant! Worked great! A bit later I realized I had forgotten to discard the empty pod. I threw it out, lowered the lever and cooked dinner; oblivious that the error message came on. "Water pressure....Use maintenance assembly...clean needles...". Ran through all that using the instruction manual. Nothing. It won't even clear the message so you can run a water cycle through. Hit the YouTube videos. Nothing. Have you ever called support during the holiday? Don't bother. They are closed. It looks like mine lasted 1 cup. I intend to call them tomorrow and probably exchange this one in hopes that a second one is part of the excellent 5 star batch. I know many people that love them and have no issues. Few known to hate them.

  • I love my American Press Coffee and Tea Maker. I normally do French press when it is more than one person because of a larger size. This is perfect for just one person or to use out camping or on the road. So easy to use and a great quality cup of coffee is easily made in just a couple of minutes once your water is hot. I highly recommend it!

  • We always enjoy some french press coffee every morning. After using a french press for a while, you'll find yourself storing your old drip coffee maker because it just doesn't seem to cut it. This particular Highwin french press seems to be of very high quality. We've been using it now for several days. The seal when pressing is really good, not letting any grounds get past and into your cup. The whole thing is easily disassembled for cleaning (the screen can be taken apart, and put in the dishwasher). The handle is welded on, so there are no concerns there. Pros: * Stainless steel * Double walled, insulated * Easy pour spout means no spilled coffee * Replaceable filter screen * Dishwasher safe * Extra filter screen included * Sleek design. * Quality construction * Perfect size for two large cups of coffee. Cons: * I'm grasping here, but if it was vacuum sealed, the insulation would be even better. That said, you generally shouldn't leave coffee sitting in a french press for that long anyway, as it will get very acidic on you. Overall: I'm very happy with this french press. I expect that we will be using it for years to come. I did receive this item at a discounted price in exchange for an honest review.

  • I wouldn't even know where to start with this review but I will say , this company has all the potential to take a huge portion of the at home coffee making market with their cappuccino capabilities alone. Why? Because the milk pod is by far the best thing about their technology. Both the units they make and the milk pod itself are amazing and I have been begging for them to release a milk only pod because there are thousands of us that buy the coffee just for the cappuccino milk. The coffee itself is not good especially when compared to other options out there. I have owned every single coffee machine this company has put out and I was also one of the first ones to grab the very expensive futuristic circular red and black one they had a few years back. It broke within a year so I bought another. That one broke after 8 months so I downgraded to the model in the last photo of my pictures (can't remember the names) that machine I owned 4 times . Yes 4 times in 3 years because it took broke. Every machine they make will eventually brew your coffee and milk like I have shown in my photos. Their service is non-existent. Nobody carries the pods. Machines are the cheapest things ever and the company refuses to fix this incredibly easy problem and instead, continues to make it the exact same way and just change up the look of the machine to make it uglier and uglier. That's how I ended up with this model 2 months ago. After 50 days it is already broken. From week one it was pouring milk and coffee in every direction like all the ones before it. If they don't want to fix this garbage design then this will continue to happen. Soon you will have mold in every cup because it forms within the machine where you can't clean or get to without completely disassembling it. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this company and it's product's at all costs. Still with Nespresso or even Keurig

Well today is Saturday July 27th 2024 and the switch went out just now. 11:06 pm. This is sad, not even a year.

This espresso machine can be used to brew cold or hot coffee, making it the perfect travel gadget for coffee lovers who need an extra energy boost without the hassle. ☕ The espresso machine can brew coffee with ground coffee or capsules. It has a Type-C charging port and good overall quality. 👍 From setting up the espresso machine to brewing, the process is straightforward and very quick. 🚀

SOOOOOOOO DISAPPOINTED!!!! I paid $139 for this unit on 10 June and it’s already dead. The element gets hot but it doesn’t spin anymore! Garbage. And of course the return window is closed. Don’t waste your money, total disappointment . Ruined a batch of beans since it doesn’t spin the bottom burnt and the top half was raw!

I was a little skeptical, came like so. It was not inside the usual coffeemakers.us.com box or bag. The package looked like it was already opened. But when I looked inside the item looks decent. No scratches or residue. I am pleased with my purchase.

First the screen went bad -- fixed that. And then finally the coup de grâce -- the dreaded 'Water Under Pressure' error popped up -- cleaning the needles or anything else yielded no positive results -- and that put this POS brewer out of its misery. I didn't bother contacting Keurig, because I am done with said company. From this point on, I am a Breville man. Yeah, their brewers cost more, but the workmanship and quality is far superior to Keurig's 'quantity-over-quality' business philosophy. If you have at least half a brain, steer clear of Keurig products. Because with current crop of Keurig brewers, you'd be lucky if you get a full year of use out of them before the unit starts to break down. (A troubleshooting tip for a K475 and other Keurig brewers: See pic)

  • So I am replacing my Keurig because I don’t like how gross it must be deep inside that machine. This goes along with other SMEG items that I have …toaster, blender, & electric kettle. So far I absolutely love the way this coffee maker looks& it will be nice when I have a friend or two over to be able just to make one pot . I read all the instructions first and am brewing my 1st cup now! I will update if there are any negative issues, but so far I love it! Yes, it is a little difficult to use the carafe to fill the reservoir with water, but I’m just using a different container to fill the water reservoir. No problem at all. I don’t find it to be a negative.

  • Super easy to use and works great. The pour spout works good. No dripping or risk of over pouring and coffee going everywhere. I was disappointed with the measurement lines on the side. They’re not level with the liquid. Like they printed it slightly diagonal. Also the bottom numbers look rubbed off from a crap printing job. The filter is nice and fine. I’ve been using this pot for about a month and it hasn’t rusted so I guess it’s real stainless steel.
