  • You have to extensively clean after every grind, if you are planning to have whole beans and grind once a day forget about it. The grinder gets clogged up after every use and you have to set it to grind , open the filter and remove the cup and hopefully pick at the packed up coffee grounds in time and hope it un clogs. For 100 dollars I cannot complain about what I was hoping for.

  • If you are not a morning person and would prefer to prepare your coffee the night before that to make up earlier, I recommend getting a programmable coffee maker like this one. It is nice to wake to the smell of coffee brewing. This coffee brewer allows you to make as little as 2 cups of coffee and up to 12 cups. It is not difficult to use. Since you set the time, it can also serve as a clock in your kitchen. I also think the stainless steel looks nice. I generally have to buy a reusable filter when I get a new coffee maker, but this one came with one (cone shaped). That is a nice bonus. I also like how they made the part that holds the filter pop out for easy cleaning. If you get up at the same time every day, this coffee maker also remembers the time you set so you just have to press the program button. If you wake at slightly different times, it can be a little annoying to reset the time as you have to cycle through the numbers. So if it is set for 9:00 am and you want to set it for 8:45 am instead... you have to cycle the hour from 9 am, through all the pm hours and back to 8am. Then you have to cycle the minutes from 00 through 45. It’s a minor annoyance but if you hold down the button, it will cycle through them faster. My other slight annoyance is that the shape of the coffee pot results in having to tip it more than 90 degrees to get the last of the coffee and the lid starts flapping. Overall, this is a nice coffee pot and appears of good quality.

  • I've been using this for almost a week and so far, I love it! It's a great product for beginners when it comes to making lattes and cappuccinos. I've been eyeing this for well over a year and finally pulled the trigger to buy. No regrets! I did have to cup reusable kcups which isn't an issue and expected. The last week, I had lattes without any syrup flavors and just tried it by purchasing syrup and it's delicious! I highly recommend. If I have any issues down the line, I'll upgrate you all since a major flaw I did read on this was that it leaked where you fill the water up. So far I haven't experienced this.

Just arrived today, and I’m very disappointed with the shipment. I’m hoping the machine works given how it arrived. I’d return it for a new one, but unfortunately it’s a Christmas gift and am out of time! I’ll update this review later based on how the machine actually works and if it works! Update: Machine leaks water all over the countertop.

I wanted to add something extra to our employee break room. I have a coffee machine coming in, but this little espresso machine is perfect. Anyone who likes espressos can easily make their own to get their day started. Good brand at a good price.

  • It is an ok machine, it is inconvenient to place the pods into the adapters and remove from there after each use instead of them automatically dropping on opening the machine to make a new coffee. It is dirty too because some water always leaks when you open the adapter. The most important thing for me is that it started malfunctioning on the second day of use: now it is producing a random 10+ ml on each button press instead of the initial amount (no setup or anything else was changed).

Let me get started with the first PRO of this unit - it comes in PINK! Yes, that's why I bought it. I wanted another pink appliance, something to sparkle on my countertop if it had to be left out. I constantly get compliments on my KitchenAid Artisan Design 5-Quart Stand Mixer, Raspberry Ice and this is close enough in color to match! See the photos I've posted comparing the two pinks side-by-side. I was told by some it didn't match and couldn't find any photos of it side by side so I want to make this clear for others who might be ordering a color version. Check out the photos I posted to see comparison. Out of the box you get: the coffeemaker, carafe, and filter holder a gold tone filter several paper filters a coffee scoop one water filter owner's manual It is packed into the box concisely without excess packaging. Here is what I like about it in simple terms: *the carafe shape doesn't save that last bit of coffee and you don't have to pour your coffee with the pot almost upside down when using the 1-4 cup feature (a problem with my other maker *auto-brew feature *warmer plate is temperature adjustable (low/med/high) and can be set to a timer from 1-4 hours *beep notification *entire lid opens/doesn't have 2 separate compartments for basket/water These are some things that have been listed as cons that may affect your decision. I bought the maker knowing this and I'm happy anyway. *small pour space for water & it's located in the back of the unit *lid is tall so maker doesn't "fit" under cabinets with the lid open (fits just fine closed) *the coffee pot lid isn't attached to the carafe, it lifts off *I wish it had a thermal carafe I have my maker placed on a placemat so I just slide it out and slide it back once the water is in. I am not able to pour/see the numbers with it at the back of the counter. My other Cuisinart thermal carafe fits into the maker just fine, so I can brew one pot for husband and another for me and they stay warm. My last maker had a built in grinder which I decided was more hassle than a separate grinder so I purchased a matching pink Kitchenaid coffee grinder from Target. Now I will finally be able to use a full 12-cups without brewing and re-brewing because my coffee was too weak. The maker comes with a 3 year limited warranty, and from what I understand Cuisinart usually stands behind their products. I can't imagine not being satisfied in the long-term. Additional comments added 9/22/13: We have had a few overflow issues, but mainly when you don't put the lid on the carafe or overfill the ground holder. It will not hold grounds for 12 cups without a little mess due to the steam pushing the coffee up around the sides of the filter. At 1/8c per cup, that adds up to 1.5 cups of grounds and logistically the filter is too small. We usually do fine with a 10 cup pot. Overall I am very happy. The coffee is consistently hot and tasty with few issues. I purchased the filters in bulk on coffeemakers.us.com so we can change them out each month for a year.

On the positive side this does make good coffee and it's easy to program and use. The only big negative is the warming tray. This is the second B&D I've had and both had the same issue. The heat resistant paint on the warming tray is terrible. It begins to come off after several washings. And this is from a normal cloth, not an SOS pad. I can't imagine how this issue has not been corrected.

  • As a K-Cups fan and someone who loves being eco-friendly, the COWSAR reusable K-cups pods coffee brewer has been a great addition to my daily routine. It combines style, sustainability, and functionality, making it perfect for those looking to reduce their carbon footprint.

This is a 5 star coffee maker but giving only 4 stars as it is Refurbished and I could not find anywhere in the description that I was purchasing a refurbished maker. I am keeping it because I do know that there is nothing else better out there and the savings was HUGE! I should have known by the price because my first purchase 15 years ago was over $350. This is best coffee pot ever if you like fresh ground coffee. My first purchase in 2015 pasted 8 years. My second one is still going strong. I bought one for my nephew and one for my sister because I loved it so much. I just purchased this one for my lake house. Side note: I purchased a Breville 3 years ago just to try it when my kids moved in with us while they build a house. We are huge coffee drinkers! We needed two pots to just kick start the day One for breakfast and one to go. This Cuisinart is not complicated to use and is forgiving if you go slightly over the 12 cup line when filling (my Breville was NOT! You had to stop exactly at the 12 line or you would have a run over and mess) I LOVE fresh ground coffee and love that it has storage for beans. It is easy to clean and makes a perfect cup of coffee. I will own no other brand.

After 1.5 years of ownership my coffee maker suddenly died. Water poured out the bottom as fast as you'd put it in. The cause was easily fixable (a hose clamp fell off) except Cuisinart intentionally made it hard to fix. Note the proprietary screw. This is too expensive a coffee maker to fall apart after 1.5 years and outrageous they sabotage your ability to fix.

  • *EDIT: They replaced the carafe! I had no idea what was in the box waiting at my door. I didn’t remember ordering anything but, who knows? Imagine my surprise to find a new carafe was sent to me just like that. I’m a happy customer!* I had to give it 2 stars because the carafe cracked after less than one month of light use. Otherwise, I would give it 4 stars. If their customer service is any good and they replace the carafe, I will edit and re-rate my review. Customer service is everything. The coffee maker is decent, but I am reserving my opinion until they either replace it or they don’t. I bought it in late December last year (approximately 20 days ago) and I brewed only four pots and twelve single servings of coffee. My feeling is that if they replace the carafe, it is worth the money, if they don’t and I have to buy a $30 replacement carafe, it is not worth the money. I sent a message to their replacement/returns email today so we will see. I will check back and change my review accordingly. To be clear, this is a good coffee maker except for the cracked carafe. I was pleased to find a machine that doesn’t use pods and doesn’t need additional filters on either the carafe or the single serve side. I mean it brews coffee that doesn’t taste funny and doesn’t leak on the counter, how bad can it be? It isn’t a high end “espresso-type” machine, and it doesn’t froth anything, but it reliably makes decent coffee with no fuss. To me, that is worth the money I paid, if they replace the carafe. There is no reason the carafe should have cracked other than a manufacturer or a shipping problem.

Looks nice in out kitchen haven’t taken a picture though.

  • The coffee maker makes a great cup of coffee. Nice and hot! BUT, less than 90 days in daily use, the numbers on the carafe are mostly gone. So trying to figure out how many cups of water I’m adding is a guessing game
