Compared to the simpler/basic coffee makers I'm used to, this has a lot of great features and makes me feel they spent a lot of time brainstorming how to make this a convenient coffee maker to use (at least for a still purely manual coffee maker). The reservoir has one of those angled plates with the measurements so that you can read the water level from the top instead of trying to look at a gauge on the side. Both the reservoir and this angled plate are removable to make cleaning the reservoir easier. I'm sure you'll still need to run a cleaning/descaling solution through the machine every once in a while, but this at least makes it so you can easily clean the reservoir as often as you do the carafe and filter basket. While I have filtered water on tap, there is a filter holder on the outlet of the reservoir for a small activated carbon filter (one is included along with a small set of paper filters packed into the filter basket out of the box). Note that activated carbon will help remove impurities that make water taste off, but will not remove the minerals that cause scale buildup. Finally there's a coffee measuring scoop built into the lid of the reservoir that's sized for one scoop per cup of hot coffee. They even made it so that the scoop attaches in either orientation into its slot so you're not messing with that before you've had your coffee. Along with the reusable nylon coffee filter, you really don't need anything to keep brewing coffee with this machine other than the ground coffee itself (and water... um, and electricity). You get about 30 inches of power cord (measured from the beginning of the plug to where it goes into the machine), which should be plenty for most counters. And it's got space in the body to stuff the whole cord into it up to the plug. In the end it's still just a drip coffee maker, but a convenient to use drip coffee maker. For some reason coffeemakers.us.com asked me to rate this thing's "blending power" as one of its features. Unfortunately I'm going to have to give it one star for blending. I'm sure Cuisinart would discourage you from trying to use any part of this machine as a blender.
Easy to use and keeps your coffee hot. The exterior of the cup does not get warm, so you will not get the holding a hot cup of coffee feeling :(. That is the only negative.
I recently purchased a De'Longhi Nespresso Vertuo machine after enjoying a Breville model I bought for my parents. While both machines produce coffee/espresso with identical taste, the main difference lies in their functionality and product design. The Breville machine features a slightly larger base, providing better stability for your cup during brewing. In contrast, the De'Longhi model has a smaller base. None of my coffee cups fit neatly under the spout. This issue becomes particularly frustrating when using 12 oz pods, as they fill the cup to the brim, leaving little room for maneuverability. You’ll need to transfer the coffee into a bigger cup if you want to add milk. Additionally, the De'Longhi water tank lid is not attached by hinges, leading to frequent accidental falls into the tank during refills. In comparison, the Breville machine's flip-top lid offers a more convenient and secure design. In conclusion, the coffee tastes the same but one is more user friendly than the other.
NOT Easy to use at all! Such a narrow little slot in which to pour the water -especially if you keep it on the counter underneath a cabinet where you can barely fit the coffee pot to fill.
Honestly, was tipsy shopping and didnt realized I hit purchase until I received it in the mail. Expected more of a wood handle but its dark plastic! But super cute regardless! The size of the brewer is perfect to free up counter space & the little blue lights that light up when brewing....10/10!!
This is the best thing I've found on coffeemakers.us.com. Make your own cold brew and stop wasting money at Starbucks or Dunkin. I add protein and it's amazing.
Honestly this made really good coffee!! I wish I got it in the bigger size so it made more at once bc the small size is only enough for one person. Definitely read the instructions before use. Some coffee grounds come through but not a lot at all. Hard to keep clean when camping without a water source but I still recommend!
I recently got a Nespresso Vertuo machine and wanted to also be able to explore pods from the original line they offer. I didn’t really want to spent another $200 on a machine right now, so I decided to check out other brand options. I found this little machine by Beanglass for less than half what I’d pay for a Nespresso Essenza mini after the online coupon was applied. It’s a beautiful machine that matches my other machine and coffee bar perfectly. It heats up quickly and the option to brew espresso or lungo is very nice. I do get a hot and rich flavorful brew but not always a super thick crema. This could be due to the pods I use since some are flavored pods. The water tank at first seems small but honestly since I only brew a lungo or double shot at a time I don’t find it too small at all. It’s honestly not that loud either, no louder really than my Nespresso Vertuo Plus. Now the two reasons I took away one star. One the biggest peeve I have is that occasionally I find that the pod does not load right and instead you end up crushing the pod without puncturing it thus wasting the pod. These pods aren’t exactly cheap, at least if you purchase Nespresso brand. Second peeve I have is the design of the drip tray. You can easily fit an espresso mug but lungo sometimes has issues fitting. This would have been a simple fix if the drip tray was easily removable. Since by design the two pieces fit together you can’t remove the tray without having to also pull out the pod bin. You can slide the pod bin back in without the drip try but it doesn’t fit quite right without the tray. I have one set of lungo size mugs that fit perfectly. It’s a minor peeve but a slight annoyance nonetheless. Overall I enjoy the machine a lot, it serves its purpose and think it’s value is worth the price. Even with the peeves I have with it, I’d still repurchase over more pricier options. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you purchase.
I like keep it simple. And this works. No programming no timer just give me a cup of coffee ASAP. Have large pot when company is here but that's it.
Shipping was fast and well packaged 😃 I get to do my homemade passion fruit , kaffir lime , moringa tea one thing I know for sure if you get a magnet and it does not stick it would not rust 😃👍
This is pretty much a Generic Coffee Maker - There is no name brand on the machine. The filter is Cone Shape which you can use the removeable s/s filter or your own paper coffee filters. I like the design, nice and compact with a visual side water gauge. It isn't a fast brewer -for making a full pot (14 cup)- it took about 13.9 min to brew on the Bold setting and about 13 min without the bold brew button pushed. However, it took only about 5 minutes to brew 6 cups! The BEST part of this coffee brewer is that you can steal a cup during the process - it stops dripping when you remove the carafe but you can pour from the pot with no dripping happening when the pot is removed. Another great feature is that you can control the warming plate temperature and how long to keep the warming plate active (1 to 4 hours). If you don't choose the warming plate time it will shut down after 2 hours (at least that how I read it). I do like the warming plate time feature, since my current maker's warming plate seems to shut off way to quickly. Overall - I am very happy with this product and so far makes a great cup of coffee.
I ordered new but it came “used”.
This is what the product looked like when I opened the box...
It is obvious that this is well made. The manual was written well and looked great. BUT there was a glaring mistake. There are 3 bags of different sizes of O-ring. 2 of them are labeled 1.1 and another 1.2. One of them is a supposes to be 1.0. Checked the manual and the o-rings are there labeled, nice photos in color. The color doesn’t agree with the size printed below the label. I tried to use the 22LR size on my model 41. It was very loose and needed o-rings. I tried every color and they made the size too big to fit I the barrel. I tried the 5.56 size and it was a perfect fit, go figure. I put batteries in the green laser, screwed the 5.56 into it. Problem. It would start with good light and quickly fade. I tried multiple battery packs. I so wanted this to be a good fit for me, but alas, not the case. Pity, because they spent some money to build this, but forgot to get someone that knows these things to proof read the manual at least.
La tengo hace casi 2 años y hasta el momento funciona muy bien, recomiendo comprarla🥰
