Just another auto espresso machine, nothing special. The coffee temperature reach to about 157 deg with bold
My fourth Keurig and the best of both worlds. I can now make a 12 cup pot or my happy first cup of the day. I love the deep flavor from this pot.
I grind my own beans and this little Mr Coffee is perfect for 2 diner size cups. I did get a reusable basket to replace the paper filters with. If you don't need a big coffee maker this is the one you need.
Here is The experience I had: The grinder Is very well, the espresso comes out great. I really connected with the idea that i can buy several types of coffee and grind one at a time and see how it goes and also have the options to try some mixes, I think it's a lovely experience. The screen is simply amazing and giving a full display and wide control. The milk frother is also quite nice, I tried it with oat milk and it did a great job. Another feature I liked is the cup heating area which is definitely a pro upgrade. The device is a bit expensive, but for now it looks great, I really hope it continues like this, if it is kept for many years it will definitely worth it, I will update if I see significant changes.
I used this product for 2 total weeks, making coffee every other day (~7 times). Product effectively produced coffee from course ground beans. Product produced coffee from fine ground beans with grains (must self-ground or large ground order grinds; store purchased "normal" [Wegmans or Walmart tested] grinds migrate through the mesh to give you grainy coffee after minimum brew time specified by instructions [6 hours]). Product broke during washing when dropped (<3 inches) above [steel] sink surface. Product is visually appealing and easy to use with nice quality accessories. Glass is 1/8 inches thick and does not appear to be tempered which allows it to break under low blunt force (the break was mostly large pieces, with only a few small sharp fragments). Total volume is 32 oz, which fills a standard [16 oz] thermos twice. For the price, this is an okay product but it is not something that I would recommend to others. Disclosure: I am considering buying this again because I like to have redundant parts and would prefer to be able to interchange the pieces than get rid of the functional parts I still have (hence, 2 stars instead of one star). If I had kids or pets to knock or step in broken glass I would 100% steer clear of this product. If I were more practical and did not like the visual appeal of this product (or accepted the need to do dishes more readily) I would not consider repurchasing this product. For someone who likes the look and doesn't love to do dishes, this may be the cold brew coffee maker for you!
This cold coffee brewer is great. I love the taste of cold coffee but I hate paying for it at a coffee shop since it's so expensive. I've made it myself in the past using the pitcher and loose grounds method but it's so tedious to strain. This brewer totally takes away the need to strain and while the filter is a bit annoying to clean, it's worth it considering how much money it saves to make it yourself. This product did not come with any instructions, I found that strange and a little annoying. I ended up finding directions for a similar style brewer and adapting them for my needs. Using this brewer what you are actually making isn't cold coffee, it's coffee concentrate. To make it you combine 4 tablespoons of coffee grounds with 1 cup of water. 1. Fill the pitcher with water, leaving room for the filter and grounds. 2. Place your coffee grounds in the metal filter (you can use any type of grounds, but I prefer course grounds as they are less likely to slip through the filter). 3. Place the filter back into the pitcher and put the cover on. 4. Put the whole pitcher in the fridge at least overnight, longer if you can. 5. Be sure to pick up the pitcher and swish it around a couple of times to get the best flavor. 6. Your coffee concentrate is ready and you can dilute it how you wish. This brewer is made of high quality glass, I don't have any fears about the design. The handle, once you've screwed it on successfully, which can be a little tricky, is secure and I don't worry about it snapping even when the pitcher is full. The fine mesh filter is fine enough that I don't worry about my grounds coming through it at all. Probably my favorite part of the whole design is the non-slip base. When you have to screw the top on or remove the filter, it's nice to know you're not going to have a glass pitcher sliding around on your countertop. My only complaints, and they're minor, is that the pitcher itself never fully seals and the filter is a pain to clean. The pour spout is always exposed and there is no way to seal it. The cover protects most of the top of the pitcher, but the spout leaves the ability for spills, or my bigger concern, absorbing smells and flavors while in the fridge. Cold coffee is able to stay in the fridge for up to two weeks so I would like to have the ability to cover it so it isn't exposed to anything else that might have a scent. The filter is a little annoying to clean. It's hard to get all of the grounds out of it completely and considering how bad it is for plumbing to put coffee grounds down the drain, I wish it were a bit easier. With that being said, it's a lot easier to clean than straining every individual glass of the stuff which is what you have to do when you use the pitcher and loose grounds method, so I'd rather clean this filter. Overall, I would highly recommend this brewer. It's high quality, the design is classy and easy to use, and it saves me money compared to paying for cold brew.
Just got this pot in and I love it it has a timer, it can be set to brew as I am waking up. it is very nice looking picture doesn't do it justice. I am upset however cause when you have OCD this upside down label kills you. LOL How does that even happen any way????
Everything worked well at first. Also keep in mind it takes a while to heat up But that’s ok because it’s battery operated. After two weeks of use (1 pod a bay generally sometimes two ) , it doesn’t seem to make a good connection. To the nespresso pods so to speak, it’s difficult to close the bottom threads now too. Will be returning , shame as it’s a good concept EDIT: This company did make it right and sent me a replacement , they responded quickly so i have to give them credit where due. Hopefully this one doesn't have issues and this is a good product
It was better than I expected. Worth the money
This just seems like straight up false advertisement, product says 3 cups but we cant even fit 2 cups in here...
Update: ----- The glass has a crack now 2/3 of the way through the length of the glass, after less than a month of use. Wasn't dropped or subjected to extreme temperature changes. I work from home, and this was really just used this as a container kept in fridge for cold brew. Consider a non-glass version of this product? ----- I love the concept of just having to brew one mug of cold brew at a time, instead of some of the larger setups. However, the problem I had with this product is that when you remove the filter from the bottom portion and screw the base lid back on, it no longer seals properly, and will repeatedly leak. My suggestion would be to leave the coffee infuser in, or pour into a separate mug. No, there's no gasket missing... I suspect that the lack of the coffee infuser and it's additional gasket makes the base lid unable to fully meet the base of the glass and properly seal without that additional layer present.
UPDATE I updated the star review as the seller offered a full refund as the press I received did not function as they expect it to. I am very happy that the seller stands by their product. The press is very pretty but unfortunately, the inside metal part does not hold up very well. It now will splash coffee grounds everywhere when pressed down.
I bought this back in February.. with something like this I like to wait a while and use it before I leave a review. First of all I do see what everyone was talking about with the condensation on the display clock after Brewing it is weird but it does absolutely nothing to the display I've gotten in the habit to wipe it off as soon as it's done Brewing. It's been almost 4 months with it and it's still going strong works just like the first day I got it I have no complaints.
So no… this little baby is not the best quality BUT honestly still makes a 8/10 cup of coffee (granted that takes 5-6ish minutes). Absolutely adorable, great gift idea, and yeah no regrets for the price! Will probably buy another or two for Christmas gifts!
