Hello Mr. Coffee, I don’t usually write reviews but after 4 (four) purchases I had to share my experience. Each of the four Mr. Coffee products do NOT have the water tank numbers labeled - AS THE PHOTO SHOWS. Both coffeemakers.us.com AND the Mr. Coffee box are incorrect photos. Extremely misleading and IMPOSSIBLE to read. The numbers to read the water level are CLEAR. Who does that?! Given as a gift, my grandparents can not operate this machine without visual assistance. “Do I need more water? I can’t tell...” At that point, the water is usually leaking from the two back openings. The most recent coffeemaker we received had plastic pieces fall from the unit. I AM SO RELIEVED NO ONE SWALLOWED THESE PIECES (see photo). Each of the products is a simple On/Off Coffeemaker and works as advertised and can function with a Smart Outlet. However, considering the four identical and faulty products we’ve received, I’ve removed 2 Stars. Mr. Coffee and coffeemakers.us.com, PLEASE FIX your manufacturing process and update the incorrect product images. It’s been incorrect for many months. Future coffeemaker purchases will be from another manufacturer.

I bought this machine at Crate and Barrel last year and am kicking myself enough to post a bad review on C&B AND here at coffeemakers.us.com since I buy so much from coffeemakers.us.com. Bottom line: Do NOT buy this machine. I literally have anxiety walking up to this machine in the morning. It is so finicky...error lights are always on requiring us to "pamper" this machine everyday before we've even had our cup of coffee (weird explanation I know but you'll know exactly what I'm talking about if you buy this thing!). FINICKY and not intuitive. The only thing good about the SMEG is it's sleek design. We have a Breville at our northern CA residence and this SMEG at our Southern CA residence. Do yourself a huge favor and just buy Breville...I'm not affiliated with Breville what-so-ever and they don't need my endorsement. I just honestly don't want any of you making the same $1000 mistake that we made in buying the SMEG. Don't buy sleek/Euro...buy something that works!

  • UPDATE- 6/27/18 After expressing my experience with this French press I was graciously greeted by the seller who offered me a free replacement for the trouble I had with the first one. I just received it today and it is awesome!! The material on this new one is stronger feeling and still has the mat look but definitely an updated material. I’ve already tried it out and it works great! Super happy with this French press and would definitely recommend this one to anything who likes smooth coffe from a good looking press Old review- Overall this fresh press works great. The functionality of it is perfect and does exactly what it’s suppose to do. My only issue is that after a few washes the Matt paint started peeling off and now you can see the metal and it just looks cheap and trashy. I bought it as a gift and read the great reviews but am disappointed that the outside scrapes off so easily. Still a very cool design and good functioning French press.

My Keurig went out on me and I do not want to purchase another since I do not use K-pods. This has saved my mornings. I like to sit with a cup of coffee while studying the Bible. I had heard of the pour over method but never gave it much attentions. Oh boy, this method makes a richer cup of coffee. The glass is well made and the pieces fit together perfectly. The bottom piece has measurements of 100 ml and 200 ml. The piece is also made like a double vacuum. The shape of the top piece allows for versatility when brewing. I used cheesecloth and had no problems. I am sure a coffee filter would fit just as well. The only lack is that it has no handle. I think if the bottom had a handle , it would be easier to manipulate.

  • Well, I've had this coffee maker for a few days now and it does make a good cup of coffee and hot. It's real easy to use like filling and inserting a pod. I would say though the discription given, like it being programmable and implying that you can adjust the water level/cup size just isn't true. I can only fit a 10.5 oz mug under the spout . Also they claim it brews your coffee in under 30 seconds! Not even close, I timed it at three and a half minutes, fast but hardly 30 seconds. So for the price a good simple single cup system but better products will be out there.

  • I received my Breville Touch Thursday. I really believed I would return this. I didn’t think I would ever be able to use it and felt I would just be returning daily to the local coffee shop and continue spending $10 a day there. Well, I did run to the local barista for fresh beans and watched a few videos on YouTube about using the machine. It took a couple tries figuring it out and I poured several shots down the drain but now- now I’m in Latte heaven!! Today is Monday and after coming down off my 3 day caffeine high, there’s no way I can go one day without it. I’m keeping it lol. They can’t have it back. So, if your on the edge about purchasing this-do it. I knew absolutely nothing about making espresso drinks. Now I’m making mochas every bit at good as my home town coffee shop. And way better than any Starbucks

Just got this machine for my mom after her Mr Coffee machine stopped working after about 5 years. She tells me she really likes this one. A few small differences but for the better. Price was really nice too

  • Best of all grind and brew machines available because THERE IS ONLY ONE GOLD TONE BASKET TO CLEAN! I was just going to buy it until I could navigate which super- expensive machine to buy because our grinder broke, but turns out that this is a keeper! I love the deep, dark taste with a little grit at the bottom. Cheers B&D and thanks! Oh, my only wish is that it was available with a thermal carafe.

This is perfect for any espresso coffee lover! The portability of this machine is the best attribute. Whether you’re on a car trip, picnicking in the park, home use or so much more; this is the machine for you. It supports either pods or fine ground coffee for optimal flavor. It is self heating, has an ergonomic design and an easy to operate control. It’s fast charging to give you coffee anytime and anywhere!

  • Since first purchasing an American Press Coffee Maker several years ago, the Press has been around the world with me. If you enjoy coffee and want consistency in your travels, the American Press is the way to go. Tired of convenience store coffee or whatever type of cheap coffee a hotel or store may offer, by bringing your own ground coffee, you simply just need to add water and you have yourself a fine cup of joe! The American Press is lightweight and simple to use. Even a knuckle dragger doesn't need instructions with the American Press - you simply open the bottom, pour in the grounds, add your hot water to the marked level, let it sit for a minute or two and then push the plunger all the way down. Voila - you have yourself a nice cup of fresh coffee. Afterwards, it is extremely simple to wash and hand clean in a sink for your next use. Around the world, both in hotels and in airplanes, people have commented about how great the American Press is. Maybe the best part of owning an American Press is politely correcting people when the call it a French Press.

  • Very giftable stoneware/ceramic pour over set. We have been using a 5cup coffee pot and a metal single-serve pour over for a few months, so this was a nice change of pace to make things a little nicer. Glaze is even and attractive in modern colors. Ceramic filter sits well inside the opening up top, and it comes with filters which is nice. Pour over is always pretty dang slow, but about the same as our other style. This thing is pretty dang small — even fully loaded you’re gonna only have 2-3 small to normal cups of coffee. If you drink a big cup, just one. Makes good coffee, looks nice, would make a nice gift for a table set.

    Quality machine, compact and sturdy.

  • We love this new coffee maker! We used to have a Keurig but the pods got so expensive and the Keurig eventually died we then bought a single pot which we had for a couple years but we did miss having the k ups so this is a perfect fit for our family we can make pots of coffee or single cups. It makes hot coffee and easy to use!

Mr. Coffee® 14-Cup Programmable Coffee Maker This is another well built Mr Coffee that is replacing my OLD Mr Coffee 12 cup. I'm happy they included a new filter cup but as with my old machine I still have to wrap my grinds in the paper filter, turn it upside down and then the grounds stay up in the filter. If I don't do this, just like my old pot the grounds end up in the pot from the filter overflowing. they really need to fix the pace of the water so it has a chance to brew through without brewing over the filter. Anyway, my paper filter trick works and I've been doing it for years so I'll just continue. This one has all the features I can use, strong brew, programmed for later or do it now. It is a large machine to accommodate the larger pot. Two concerns I'll have to keep an eye on are the heating pad the pot sits on is already flaking apart. It had a spot chipped when I opened it and other area looks like it may flake off soon. See pics. The other major issue is how hot my counter got after my test run. I moved the machine back and the counter was almost too hot to touch. If that continues this will be returned as it should not be heating the counter and there's a flaw in the heat distribution. I'll test it again along with my old pot just to make sure of the problem. These issues are the reason for 2 stars. After more tests I'll adjust my rating up or down depending on the results.

On the right side of the circle you can see two spots where the metal wasn't punched out. Manufacturing could be improved on this part. Otherwise everything else looks good.
