I love this coffee maker. It's just the right size, and sits perfectly on my counter slider too. The lid opens from the front so you can easily pour directly into the reservoir. The coffee perks hot and has an auto shut off. I highly recommend!
I absolutely LoVe 💗 this Hamilton Beach Single Serve Coffee ☕️ Maker. My sister and I did extensive research on the Keurig, Mr. Coffee, Mixpresso, Cuisinart, Krups and of course Hamilton Beach. This is my favorite single serve coffee maker by far. 1.) The coffee is super HOT. 2.) It has a refillable scoop/brew basket for my favorite coffee (Equal Exchange) and it’s super easy to clean. 3.) It was a perfect choice for me since I like a 14oz. cup of coffee and worked with my favorite mug. 4.) It has a removable water reservoir. 5.) It has a sleek, narrow design. I previously bought a Keurig K-Mini for the first time and was not impressed with this Keurig model for a few reasons: (Returned It) 1.) I could only use 1/2 of the coffee I normally use to make a 14oz. cup of coffee, meaning I would have to fill 2 pods (bought a stainless steel reusable metal filter). 2.) The coffee was NOT hot. 3.) The unit is cheaply made. Hope this helps everyone. ☕️
I love how easy this machine makes it for even a novice to learn how to make all types of coffee beverages. With so many great videos online on how to dial in your beans and use this espresso machine I found it so much fun and can now enjoy lattes, americanos and cappuccino drinks anytime of the day without going to Starbucks! can customize and save my own favorite and name it so next time I can just press my icon and get the same drink.Right out of the box they give you everything you need. I did upgrade a few things but that was my personal choice. I love my new coffee bar area and found a great local bean roaster as freshly roasted beans is the best thing you can do for your coffee experience besides having a solid espresso machine!
We actually really liked this coffee maker. It did what it needs to do. Make Keurig cups for the one cup of coffee my wife has every morning and make a whole lot of coffee for me to drink during the day. It's easy to use, easy to clean. My gripe is the multi feed water tank. They claim that you can position the tank on either side or the back. Unfortunately if you put the tank on the side the feed lines from the reservoir to the machine get pinched and it fails to brew a full pot. It will always stop early and flash "add more water." This happens every single time you try to brew a "strong" pot and maybe 50% of the time trying to brew a regular one. The unit is so much more compact with the reservoir on the side and would fit my countertop so much better. Alas, unless I want to add water by filling a cup and dumping it in the reservoir the only way it works is with the water on the back. I researched this problem hoping I could fix it but numerous YouTube videos and reddit posts come to the same conclusion. Very poor design on Keurig part.
Mostly great but the system is leaking and squirting coffee all over. I Called corporate and they helped me clean it out but it’s still doing it. The espresso is awesome though so I’m sure once it’s fixed I’ll love it again.
When my much cheaper Keurig gave out after only a month (!) I decided to go with something more reliable and substantial. I chose the Keurig Elite and it’s worth every penny and then some. First of all, the color. The Brushed Gold is stunning and it stands out from the sea of black and gray units. The shade isn’t at all cheap looking or garish. It’s understated and elegant, adding a beautiful touch to my kitchen. As for the coffeemaker itself: It’s very simple to operate (straightforward instructions are included of course) and you don’t need a degree in physics to make a cup of coffee. There are 5 cup sizes to choose from, all the way from a tiny cup to a travel mug. There’s also a STRONG button for more robust-tasting coffee. I love this feature since I prefer drinking COFFEE and not watered down liquid. Although I never drink iced coffee this machine includes the iced coffee option with simple instructions. The drip tray is a cinch to remove and clean as well and there are lights that illuminate when the water level is low or it’s time to descale. The water reservoir is generous but there’s only one negative thing about it-you can’t see the water level from the front, only from the side. But this is really a minor issue for me. This machine has a clock and it furnishes just hot water for tea or soups with just the press of a button. No more boiling water on the stove. You can program a timer on this unit as well. I never use this feature but it’s there just in case. Another nice feature is that it’s relatively lightweight even with a full water reservoir. You don’t need a crane to lift it for cleaning or moving. And lastly- the unit accepts not only the standard Kcups but also the reusable pods that you fill yourself. (I use the metal pods, not those plastic mesh things). Whether you use a standard pod or a reusable one this Keurig delivers a perfect cup of coffee every time. I am thrilled with the Elite Keurig and highly recommend it.
Absolutely love it. Keeps the coffee warm with the extra thick insulated sides. Used it on my last camping experience and enjoyed a wonderful cup of coffee with breakfast!
Works great but the "ON" light cannot be seen in a well-lit kitchen or during daylight hours.
I purchased the Frieling stainless steel 44 ounce insulated coffee press because our trusted 25 year old french press was no longer working great and we remodeled our kitchen so of course, we needed a new press. . Wow, we loved the Frieling when we took it out of the box! Beautiful stainless steel, looked so beautiful in my new kitchen!!! From the first day I used the Frieling stainless steel press pot, I have loved it. It keeps the coffee hot for a couple hours and makes delicious coffee every time. Everything was perfect with my new press until one day I noticed the top was really heavy after hand washing it. Then I noticed water dripping out as I was drying it. Upon closer review, I noticed the little metal ring at the top was broken and as you can see in the 2nd photo the internal metal press guide lifts up out of the lid. Thats where the water is getting in and its really frustrating. It takes a long time to get the water out and if you dont get the water out it will start to smell after a while. I hope Frieling will replace the top portion of our press, because I absolutely love it, just want the lid to stop taking in water every time I wash it.
makes a great cup
They do not honor 5 year warranty. Short story - purchased 18months ago, although we closely followed all instructions for care and cleaning (we take our coffee seriously), we noticed that green mold had developed all over the machine- after 2 hours of cleaning it was clear that the mold was originating from inside the machine. Contacted warranty support, after explaining the issue, requesting help, speaking with 2 people see response from Courtney the Customer Support Manager: “the photos you've provided, the discoloration on your Float Switch appears to be normal organic material present in the content of your water (even filtered or bottled water).” They haven’t responded to my follow on emails. Pictures are of the remaining mold - after 2 hours using descaler, then cleaning powder then vinegar $350 dollars for unusable machine awesome
I'm no barista so I don't have much to say. I just started frothing my own milk for my coffee. (Hopefully I'm doing it right lol) This little pitcher seems nice. Came as advertised. Seems like good quality. It's very smooth and shiny, just as you'd like any stainless steal product to be. No complaints!
So this cute little coffee maker works fine, but the small replacement water filter disc are NOT available. All of the discs available are about 3 inches diameter; the one that comes with the machine is about 2 inches only. Kind of stupid to provide a filter that is supposed to be replaced monthly and not sell replacements! You can buy the whole assembly + frame for Mr Coffee to get a new disc but that will set you back about $6, not very cost effective. But fear not! You can use the standard "Fits All Mr Coffee Brewers" discs since the diameter of the frame for the small disc is roughly the same diameter as the whole standard replacement disc. Just pop the big disc in where the frame goes and discard the black frame. It doesn't snap in or anything, just sits there loose but it really can't go anywhere. And the big 3ish inch discs are readily available and cheap. Or don't use a disc at all you'd also be fine!
Amazing! I can’t say enough about this coffee maker. The design is very contemporary. Usage: The filter tray is easy to use and to clean. The coffee pitcher keeps the coffee hot. I love that the water filter is easy to take out and clean. Very functional and easy to use. And it is so stylish! It has a super sleek design, unlike clunky coffee makers that take up space and look bulky. Great purchase!!
UPDATE to initial review: the spinning of the frother loosens the mug, and this mug is the only way the frother works. Needs reengineered to change direction of frother or direction the mug bottom twists off/on. Less than 2 months after buying this item, the frother stopped working completely. I loved this maker but now happy to replace with the reliable Keurig Latte maker. Chefman had a great idea, at a great price, just needs more work. When my Keurig needed replacing, I looked for what other options exist. I am giddy to have found & now own this well priced Froth & Brew! So easy & just as advertised. The only thing I had to learn through experience was to measure how much water to add to the tank when making a latte. (The coffee overfilled the mug when being dispensed on top of the froth - oops). I use almond milk with great success & am amazed I can make such decadent coffee at home! Pure delight.☕️ ❤️
