Esta cafetera tiene todo lo que necesito, hace rápido el café, de gran capacidad. Al principio puede ser un poco tedioso ver tanto botón pero hay que leer las instrucciones de uso me hizo fácil.
I pinched pennies on a fixed income for a YEAR to buy THIS! Hated that the cord was really short( 8”?) , thought it was maybe a hidden cord, but pulled with a lot of effort , while trying NOT to break it. Nope, thats as far as the cord goes. Won’t even REACH the outlet. Had to buy surge protector plug ( $10) as I am not comfortable with extension cords. paid $109 10/22 for the coffee maker. Lasted about a year, then started cutting off every so often while brewing & just got worse. Bought 4 different surge plugs hoping that was the problem. Nope. Tried holding it in the air ( NOT EASY TO DO WHEN FULL) then plugging it directly into socket. Blew the switch just like it did the plugs. It now takes almost 10 minutes to brew a pot while constantly standing there turning it back on. Called cuisinart. As it is still under manufacture warranty for 3 years. After 40 minutes of her basically repeatedly calling me a liar & forcing me to send several pics, insisting the cord was 28” & not 8”, me taking a pic of the cord with a measuring tape & her insisting on me yanking the cord until I feared it would break ( mind u, I have really good arm/hand strength). She finally said I must have a faulty one & agreed to send a new one. Then she said I had to CUT the POWER CORD on the defective one & send her a pic of it cut BEFORE they send me a new one. When I asked how long it would be before I received the new one? 7-10 days?! So I am supposed to go 7-10 days WITHOUT COFFEE?! SERIOUSLY?! She said, well, IF u want a NEW ONE, YES. WOW! So close to $200 later after buying all the new plugs, sending her video & PROVING THE PROBLEM, being talked to like I am a COMPLETE IDIOT for 40 minutes I am now being PUNISHED for at LEAST 7-10 DAYS?! I RARELY GET ANY SLEEP as I am an unpaid livein caregiver for my disabled veteran cousin on a fixed income as well & absolutely NEED COFFEE TO FUNCTION. I have to do IV antibiotics on him @6am & have GOT to be ALERT to do the procedure correctly. Did I mention I am also disabled on a fixed income & unable to drive? now I have to figure out WHO I CAN BORROW $ from, HOW to GET TO A STORE, PURCHASE A CHEAP COFFEE POT to use till THAT one GETS HERE, then figure out HOW to GET BACK TO THE STORE RETURN THE ONE I BUY?! all for a coffee maker that has NOW DROPPED TO $69?! CUISINART should be ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES taking advantage of disabled people. KNOWING THEY HAVE NO OPTION BUT TO DO WITHOUT.
So cute on my counter! It came with an insert for pods and a basket for ground coffee. I love the versatility of making coffee with pods or grounds. Easy to clean and the coffee flavor is perfect.
I use this French press every morning, this morning I cleaned the 3 layer strainer and put it back on the stem of the whole top piece, I screwed it in like I usually do and the piece that holds the 3 layers down broke. Overall it was great until this happened.
I usually wait two months before I do a review. So I might change this later. For right now, WOW. I bought this to replace a brand name one that was rather difficult to use and needed to be replaced after one year. This one is quite small and fits great on my son's snack cart. He had been concerned as he is disabled and wanted to have easy access. When you are ready to be you touch a button. It has one light. When that light comes on it is on and brewing. With the other machine it turned on when I lifted the lid and then I was supposed to press a button on the top. A good portion of my time was spent trying to decide if I had pressed that button either when I thought I had it thought I might have. Took two to the minutes to find out When you press the button not only does the light come on but within seconds coffee or tea comes out
I have spent hours looking at different french presses. The glass ones have a reputation for breaking, so that sent me looking at stainless steel models. I finally decided on this one after reading many great reviews. However, For every highly rated item, there are a few bad reviews. One of the reported problems with this model is the fact that is passes grounds. Well, it happened to me as well. It's not because I filled it too full. It is because the inside of the press is actually slightly out of round! I included a photograph to show this. If you look at the gap between the plunger and the press wall, you can see a portion of it where the filter screen cannot contact the press wall because of the out of roundness. Move 90 degrees around the circumference of the press wall and it is a very close fit. The plunger is in straight (see below), and is perpendicular to the press wall. Obviously, not all units are affected. Otherwise, everyone would be complaining. Additionally, the plunger stem is bent at the threads (see photo). As a result, the plunger does not sit perpendicular to the press wall. I had to disassemble it and remove the lid so I could position it properly. I suppose it could be bent back with tools, but I am not willing to do so after paying so much for this product. It should be perfect. Yes, it's made in China. But even in China, how hard would it be to have someone make sure the plunger wall is ROUND and the plunger is STRAIGHT? Surely, if they could form the housing into a beautiful shape and polish it to a brilliant shine, they could ensure that some basic measurements are within tolerance. No, I won't be contacting Frieling. I will be returning this press and purchasing another brand. It's too bad because it really is a work of art.
The machine was wet out of the box. I cleaned it and plugged it in, then I ran it m with just water and this brown stuff came out. This thing is used and falsely advertised as new. The only support option is a return or to call Hamilton Beach customer service during the day. I'll have to process a return but what big a waste of time. Also. It's as loud as my garbage disposal.
Extremely disappointed. I bought this coffee maker July 8th and received it July 12th. Ran the cleaning cycle every 2 weeks (our office goes through a LOT of coffee. Descaled it after 250 pods were run through it in week 6. In week 7 the machine made a popping noise after brewing a cup and the light on the top ring turned half red half yellow. I looked up on the DeLonghi site for troubleshooting instructions and tried all of the actions, but it still it wasn't fixed. When I unplugged it and waited for the 30 seconds and plugged it back in and ran a brew cycle the machine made a loud grinding noise and did not sound like it was spinning the pod very fast. The coffee came out without making the crema on top. Since it was outside the coffeemakers.us.com retrun period I contacted the manufacturer by email as instructed by the coffeemakers.us.com site. I have never received a response from them so apparently they do not want to honor the warranty on the machine. I read reviews on other Nespresso machines and someone said the Breville manufactured machine was better quality, so despite the fact both manufacturers are in the Ukraine, I bought the Breville one and am just now setting it up. I hope it is a better machine and doesn't break, and if it does, they will honor the warranty, but just in case I paid the money to get the 4-year warranty with it. We shall see.
DeLonghi TrueBrew is easily a game-changer for someone who likes a simple cup of black coffee. This machine doesn’t do espressos of any kind, nor does it claim to. But what it does the best is a perfect cup of coffee directly from the beans – fully automatic. You don’t need to be a coffee snob and learn each parameter needed to make optimum coffee – this machine does it for you. It calibrates every part of the coffee making to your liking, including the water salinity. • Design: Its around 16.5 inches high and ~13.5 inches deep and ~7 inches in width. So yes, this is a slightly big machine, but that's because it comes packed with many advanced features. It's quick sleek looking and can be kept on the countertop. Simple to set up. The video I have included shows the first use, where it rinses itself and you are ready to go. • Grinder – It comes equipped with a burr grinder, which adjusts the grind size based on your selection. You can also use pre-ground coffee if you like. It comes with a bypass section which allows you to do that. • Brewing styles: What it does the best is a cup of black coffee which can be had with your choice of dairy, but it also has an ‘espresso-style’ feature which is similar in strength to espresso. It doesn’t make that beautiful crema on the top, but it also isn’t designed to do that. You can brew starting from 8oz to around 40oz in one go. It is also perfectly suitable for making iced coffees. It has a separate mode called ‘Over Ice’ – just put a glass of ice on the bottom and push brew and voila, a perfectly made iced coffee. I have used other brands and DeLonghi probably does the best ‘Over Ice’ coffee. • Cleaning: Cleaning is super easy since it comes with quite a large waste basket (hidden) and all the brewed waste is extracted in the form of pucks inside this. Similar to what you might see with expresso waste. The rinse feature is fantastic as this doesn’t need you to collect the waste rinse in a cup. Instead, it collects inside in a rinse box, which you can take out and clean separately. What I like the best is unlike most other espresso machines on the market, it doesn’t generate plastic waste. You get your coffee straight from the bean, without needing it to bypass harmful plastic capsules. • Auto-on Feature: You can set timers and select the type of beverage you want, and it would dispense your perfect cup of coffee at that selected time.
Carafe broke while making a latte after owning it just a few months and using it on the weekends. Contacted Mr. Coffee and was told it's not under warranty, OR in stock but that I could watch for it. What the f am I supposed to do with it until then? After more searching I realized just the carafe costs over $25. Um, no. I will not be buying anything from Mr. coffee again, horrible customer service.
Specs say the unit uses 1000 watts but when brewing hot coffee it uses 1500 watts. Only reason I take issue with this is I’m planning to use this when off grid on battery power bank so was hoping for lower wattage to save some battery. Other than that though, unit works great and no other complaints. For $50 bucks it’s worth it for sure.
Haven't put in the dishwasher, but the bamboo just dried up and became brittle. Cheap
It’s perfect I love it
I don't understand why it's so hard to find a good coffee maker anymore but it is! I read a lot of negative reviews about it before I purchased. It is not at all loud so I don't know what the review is about. It is light so when you push the pot back in it moves a little. So unless you have it right up against the wall like I do you will have to hold it. It's fast enough brewing and the coffee taste great. You do get thick grainy coffee at the bottom. That is from using reusable mesh filters instead of paper filters. Which would happen with any reusable mesh filter. It has a little beep when it's done and when it turns off. When I remove the pot as it's still brewing everything works as it should. I love this coffee maker! It's straight to the point perfect little coffee maker and it looks great! It's a great size talking up the least amount of room possible for a full size coffee maker. It functions perfectly. I'm an so happy with this purchase.
