Product inside looks ok. Haven't tried it yet. But this is how coffeemakers.us.com delivered it.

12oz is very small. Not even enough for a personal cup I would say Good product, but if you need coffee for 2 ppl, get the bigger one

  • I would have given this 5 stars if it came with instructions. I have never made cold brewed coffee before so I didn't know what to do or how much coffee to put in. After lots of Googling I gave it a shot. I filled the pitcher with 24 ounces of water and added about 3 tablespoons of coffee grounds to the middle mesh filter. I closed the lid, shook it and put in the refrigerator for 24 hours. The seal on the lid is excellent. Nothing leaked out and no coffee grounds mixed in with the water. The finished product was very good, but a little weak, so I will add more coffee grounds next time. It is definitely a sweeter and less bitter tasting coffee than hot brewed. The pitcher is well made and is a very thick and heavy glass. It is easy to clean and comes with a brush for the mesh. Very easy and convenient way to have cold brewed coffee always ready in the refrigerator.

  • I wanted to love it. In fact it is a very easy coffee machine to operate. My big big issue with it that it does not always brew hot hot coffee nor does the coffee stay hot. I hate that. I even went as far as upgrading from the glass container to help keep the coffee hot. After having it for 4 months, I found that it just does not brew hot enough. I can’t return it now because I waited to long so I will be trying to sell it on ebay or offer up. Point is, if you like your coffee really hot and need it to stay hot for hours, I would not recommend this machine for you.

I can't really recommend this cold brew setup, the concentrate yield is quite low, and the overall kid cost is about 50% higher than others in the category. The OXO container is nice but not really easy to clean.

It looks very nice. Easy to install. Bit dissapointed because the Ani-Drip system isn't actually working as advertised. I tried pouring coffee in middle of brew, after few minus of brew but it was still dropping some ☕. Not much different compared to my old 19 dollar coffee machine in that aspect.

I've had a lot of coffee makers over the years. The cheaper they are the longer they seem to last. The last time I bought a coffee maker I bought a Black and Decker and it lasted for about 8 years. I was very happy with it so I bought this one. Imagine my surprise to find that not only did my carafe from the other coffee maker work in this one but they improved it too. The old one had a very small area to pour the water in but this one is much bigger and I can now pour in the water while the basket is already in the coffee maker. Granted, I can't guarantee that your carafe will fit this one but Black And Decker currently offers a replacement pot with 3 different lids for compatibility. -- Search for GC3100B Black and Decker.

  • We purchased our 1st machine just before Christmas last year and we're quite happy with it until about 8 months later when the heating element for the kcup side went out. We worked with Hamilton Beach customer service through email (slow process!) and the team confirmed the unit was curtesy under warranty; we paid $14.99 for shipping and the replacement arrived, without notifications, within a week. We set it up last Saturday and we're happy with it until Thursday when it would not brew a kcup. Although the brew button was flashing as though it was going to start brewing at any moment it never kicked in. After 3 wasted kcups I gave up. A couple hours later I unplugged it, waited, plugged it back in & viloà it started brewing. Only problems? It took 4 minutes (two times) to dribble water into the awaiting cup AND delivered nothing more than colored water from a fresh cup. I'm so over this machine & will not be paying another $14.99 in shipping for another replacement. Despite their best customer service efforts Hamilton Beach has failed us twice. Before you ask, yes, both pins are clog free and I'm using "approved" kcups.

  • It makes weak coffee and the basket always has grounds overflowing after brewing. It's a mess.

  • The pot itself lives up to its description. I filled it with hot water as part of the initial cleaning process and the insulation kept the temperature up for the 30 minutes I waited. That’s long enough for me; I drink my morning coffee pretty quickly. Fill volume of 1L is comfortably accommodated with room for coffee below and the filter mechanism above. It’s a good looking appliance that appears well made and durable. No complaints on the item itself. However, I looked over quite a number of listings trying to find an insulated steel French press not made in China. Somehow I got the impression that this item was made in Canada, although looking through the listing today (31-Oct-2024), I don’t see any country of origin listed. Be aware, this item is Made in China as printed on the packaging. I also did find two other Q&A answers from 2018 and 2020 that confirm the China manufacture. My own fault for not looking harder, but perhaps coffeemakers.us.com could make country of origin easier to find and search on. Naïve I know, but one can always hope for change.

it’s too fragile! I put it in the sink and it falls a bit *within* the sink. Like normally people don’t expect anything to break at that force. But it is broken now. Would not recommend.

I was super excited to get this for the convenience and ease of making cold brew. I needed something that would filter out the coffee grounds quick and easy. Unfortunately the filter doesn’t keep all of the coffee grounds in and I’m having to filter out the coffee a second time if I don’t want coffee grounds in my cold brew. Very disappointed and would return if I kept the box as I will not continue using this.

In what seems like a considerable design flaw, a significant gap exists between the lid and the glass. The first time I used this I had spillage. I have previously been using ikea brand French presses daily for 5 plus years with no issues. In fact I swapped out the lid with my old IKEA lid and now it works fine.

  • This is a good compact semi-automatic espresso machine that comes with a pressure gauge to help adjust your exraction timing. It produces a tasty espresso but lacked the usual thick layer of crema on top. The milk frothing wand also performed well, making a thick layer of froth on top of steamed milk. This is a good starter machine for those wanting to dabble in making their own drinks. If you develop a desire to use a more complex machine, or one that allows you to pull multiple shots more quickly, you will already have experience of the key basics such as puck preparation, dosing, steaming, and timing. It comes with 2 filters (single and double shot), a tamper, and a water tank. The build looks like stainless steel but is pretty lightweight. Some of the downsides are the buttons can get stuck easily (the machine wasn't powering on cause one of the buttons was stuck and I had to get it unstuck). It is a pretty noisy machine and the top component of the machine vibrates quite a lot during the extraction process. Overall it's a decent machine with some issues that I had with it.
