We are experienced with several coffee making processes, and the chemex pour over is by far our favorite. Sometimes, it’s just not as convenient or we don’t have the time, so we did some research and decided on this. Despite this particular model not having the SCAA seal, it heats the water to the perfect temperature. It’s super easy to use and clean. It makes a delicious cup of cider that rivals the chemex. What more can you ask for?
Don’t waste your money. The unit rusted after only a couple months of use. Chefman would not replace or refund my cost.
I bought one jar with the handle that came with the infusion middle part, pouring handle and the brush. This is an easy product to use for many drinks! i already made cold brew coffee, and jamaica . Really great purchase to make your own drinks.
Reviewing Breville BDC650BSS. Previously I used Capresso 455 CoffeeTEAM with thermal carafe for 8 years...finally gave up the ghost. First, my bias...I love fresh coffee and a grind-and-brew is the only kind of maker I considered. It will cost you more, but I feel it's worth it in the coffee quality. Started looking a year ago and nothing seemed to come close to the Capresso, which required minimal upkeep and cleaning. Finally the Breville did. I love it, and but for two minor issues, it would get 5 stars. I LOVE: 1) I can make in the carafe (a full 12 cups) or an individual cup (different quantity settings, in mL); 2) Individual strength and grind settings; 3) comparatively large hopper...comparatively; 4) carafe option 5) cup keyhole beneath the removable drain allows for positioning a taller cup or maybe a short tumbler if using the make-a-cup option 6) relatively low maintenance and upkeep 7) not nearly as loud as the Capresso 455...at most, half as loud I DISLIKE: 1) Pot issues...but not like Colorado and Washington :) Pot does not pour as smoothly as I'd like. Once half the pot is poured out, the flow starts to break up and splatter about slightly. Additionally, the pot retains ~1/8 cup nearly-unusable coffee, even when fully poured. To get most of it, you have to remove the lid and invert. Finally, my old Capresso carafe had a float that sealed the receptacle if the pot was tipped too far with coffee in it...great for taking the pot to work with me in the car. This carafe pours when you tip it regardless, and the brew receptacle on the top just catches and diverts to the inside. Neither portion of the lid seals. While this doesn't seem to significantly impact keeping the coffee hot, it does not really keep it hot very well past a couple hours. All minor issues, but it seems like they missed slightly on an otherwise easily-engineered pot. 2) The cleanup, while superior to most grind-and-brews, requires more attention and effort than my old Capresso 455. It has a basket with a connected top portion that has two layers, but no way to break it down. Save for using a swab or other thin brush, I can only run water thru the very top layer to rinse. Second, you have to wipe down the metal disk that separates the ground coffee stream from the basket (see pics). Not a big deal, just a bit more effort than my old maker. Overall, I love it. I would probably give it 5 stars, but for the two mentioned items above. It takes a bit of care to set up properly with the correct functions and selections; but once you get the hang of it, it's a relatively quick setup.
Súper inversión, puedo disfrutar de mi café de diferentes preparaciones, tengo varios meses de tenerla y ninguna queja
I got this coffee maker to have on standby because we know that our current, name-brand coffee maker could die any day now. Our current coffee maker also only makes one serving at a time, so it's inconvenient if we have company. This coffee maker works very well. My whole family likes the taste of the coffee it makes. It has a special brew cycles for bold brews and small brews (1-4 cups). It can also be programmed for a delayed start, which is helpful for those who like to prepare their coffee the night before and wake up to an already-brewed cup the next day. I experimented with all of these features, and they worked beautifully. The warming plate can also be adjusted in both temperature and length that it's on. I didn't really try different setting for it, but it did keep the coffee warm as long as it was on, and it shut off after two hours. It also gave a little beep when it shut off, which I liked because it served as a "final call" for hot coffee. It came with a reusable filter, so no trying to remember to purchase paper filters. Best of all, the carafe pours without any leaks, which is often a problem with less expensive coffee makers. If you're looking for just a regular, basic coffee maker with a couple of helpful features, this one is worth considering.
I have never had a more crazy, ridiculous experience as I have had with this machine. Bought the first one on 4-15-18 and by 4-20-18 I had to have coffeemakers.us.com send me another because the display stopped working. The new one worked fine until 11-10-18 when the display starting messing up. The display completely stopped working 11-11-18. On 11-12-18 coffeemakers.us.com said I have to contact Keurig directly. I contacted Keurig and they took all the information and told me that the best they could do is send me a replacement but of a model below what I have. How does that see, right? The model below is $30-40 less. So basically I am being told I wasted my money buying this from coffeemakers.us.com. coffeemakers.us.com has the $150 from me for the original but I am stuck now with a model that costs less. Not right... not right at all... but as long as coffeemakers.us.com has their money who cares... right?
My husband likes lactose-free creamer in his coffee. The paper containers the creamer comes in are less than durable. Sometimes they leak. I bought this pitcher for him and he loves it. It holds a full quart of creamer and is very easy to pour. It is leakproof. The glass and plastic components are dishwasher safe, too. A very nice product.
Keurig has always made my favorite kind of coffee maker, so when my old when busted down I decided to upgrade to one of the newer models. It works great, but the digital display is hit or miss - sometimes it works and sometimes it will get all distorted, and I haven’t even had this new one for a week yet.
This works great, it has a fast brew speed, good water capacity, is true to color and description. Overall it's a great value for the price and quality.
Great idea but poorly designed. The bit you put the coffee in locks into the ring above-it’s just plastic to plastic -it needs a gasket. After several attempts, convinced I must be doing something wrong, I wasn’t able to stop water coming out of this seam. So like other reviewers each time I ended up with an undrinkable weak coffee as about half the water in the bottom hadn’t actually gone through the grounds. Mine’s going back to Aldi, but i’d love to know how anyone managed to not get their brew diluted.
We love our iced coffee in this house, and this handy device makes it much easier. It will definitely up your coffee game. It makes iced coffee in considerably less time, and the coffee was fresh and not at all acidy or bitter. In about 10 min., you can enjoy a tasty iced coffee without having to dilute hot coffee with too much ice. This machine is relatively quiet as well. Clean-up is straightforward and fast. Highly recommend, this coffee maker has been used almost daily since it arrived. I hope that this helps.
Love the way it looks, ease of programming, cone shaped basket for permanent gold filter that the maker comes with or can use #4 paper filer, which I love, but especially the flavor difference and temperature control! Yes, it is a slower brewing time than our previous 4 Bunn’s, but worth the wait!! We just program it for our morning coffee, so no wait, but for a bonus brew in the evening it takes about 18 minutes.
I am skeptical when someone tries to improve upon the perfected. When this whole cold brew craze appeared, I wanted nothing to do with it. Drip coffee works just fine. Over time my defenses have worn down, perhaps it is related to this neverending home confinement, and need something to pep up my life. I've learned my lesson. Without a doubt, rumble jar cold brew coffee produces the smoothest coffee experience. From preparation and clean up to (most importantly) flavor. I recommend this product for anyone looking to try cold brew coffee, or those that want a less bitter coffee experience.
I am very happy to purchase this machine! It is perfect, easy to use, clean and compact. If you fan of turkish coffee like me, you should have it!
