The tea maker looks nice and works good, although it needs a better quality lid. After a few uses the lid warped from the heat and will no longer stay shut. It needs better quality plastic to handle heat.

Bought back in September when my old single serve coffee maker died. It worked great for about 4 months and then it started perking only 1/2 a cup regardless how full I filled the reservoir. Then began splattering coffee residue on my wall during perks, which was irritating as hell. Not to mention leaking residue on my desk. Right in the trash at went.

The filter basket has a plastic tab that holds it in the coffee maker, so that the basket doesn't get pushed up when the carafe is in place. The tab broke, and we assumed it may have been cracked. Past warranty, we ordered a replacement filter basket from Encompass for $6.00. The tab on the replacement filter basket broke after just a month of use. The plastic tab is too hard and not flexible enough to be moved regularly when removing the filter basket for rinsing/emptying. So now we are using the filter basket with the bottom closure mechanism removed. Very disappointed in this lack of quality from Braun.

I was tossed between leaving a 3 and 2 star review. Settled for 2 since I'm pretty sure my pot came defective. Not only does it leak coffee from the top when the pot is removed it also has no seal. Example: if you pour water in the side and forget to put the pot back on the base the machine activates and all the coffee drips everywhere. This has happened more than I can count.my last coffee pot came from Walmart and cost $15 and I never had any issues with it doing this. Do not recommend. If I could send it back I would. Other than that the coffee actually taste really good..

This is a handsome and well made product, it came in extremely sturdy display style packaging, which is also easily recyclable. The silicone it’s self is very rigid which is nice, it’s also a nice smooth matte finish that isn’t trying to pick up every loose hair in the universe. It’s small this is definitely for the solo cup of coffee. The scoop it came with is a good color match but it’s plastic, and doesn’t have anywhere clever to live with the pour over top or a hole in the handle for hanging it. I have this shown on top of a classic fiesta ware mug to showcase its size. I’m about to go on a cross country road trip, and I’m going to give this little guy a thorough travle test :) and check back with my results. I wish they had listed a suggested filter size on the packaging or better yet, on the pour over it’s self.

I liked this coffeemaker a lot, however, the glass carafe has a hairline crack. When I looked for a replacement, I couldn't find it so I called Cuisinart. The rep told me that the carafe is discontinued and they don't have a replacement; she offered a 25% discount for a different model. Given the cost, I would not recommend buying this unit if you can't replace the glass carafe.

It works well, keep coffee hot all day for refills. I’m very happy with the purchase. My only complaint is that with regular washing and placing on a dish rack, the lip broke! I’ve had it less than 6 months and I wasn’t being forceful at all. Additional note is that you’ll want to ensure everything is tight, or it will drip/leak a little.

This product gets 5 stars! I, unfortunately, get 0 stars. Never having made cold brew ice tea before, I followed the directions on my box of iced tea bags, which called for boiling water first and brewing for 5 minutes before placing in the fridge to cool. It survived one round and then cracked/broke on the 2nd use—COMPLETELY my fault. I’m sure it would have lasted forever if I’d thought it through better and known how to use it. Live and learn I guess!

I am so excited about my new Braun coffee machine that will make COLD BREW in 13 minute This is going to be game changer for summer in Alabama's. I love being able to make a single cup of coffee or a pot of coffee. So many options that it eliminates several other appliances that I have. So happy that it answers a lot of my wants. I have used a regular drip coffee pot, a pod single serve coffee maker and cold brew pitcher. I was very excited to combine all of the appliances into one! The Braun multiserve does the work of 3 items! It is a standard that has to meet rigorous technical requirements using the black filter basket. I did notice that the coffee pot is taller than our drip coffee maker. I have a super cute coffee station in the corner of our kitchen. I love it! Let’s make coffee! Fill the reservoir with water. I have a tap that provides reversed osmosis water. However the charcoal filter is wonderful for someone that is using tap water. To have good quality filtered water. I used 11 small scoops of coffee to make 22oz of cold brew coffee in the carafe. Placed scoops of coffee into the gold tone filter. Choose beverage size selector to half carafe. Pressed control panel to choose cold brew. Turned the lever to coffee to begin process. Cold brew coffee finished. I prepared coffee per my preferences, sugar and milk. I then added 30% ice as recommended in the directions voilà! Refreshing, tasty, fast, satisfying cold brew coffee. The. time on the Braun multiserve coffee maker I started at 11:40am and finished completely at 12:02pm. It only took 22 minutes even with me providing you instructions. The instruction says it takes 13 minutes to make the cold brew. I am very excited that it was quick and Not 3 days like a cold brew pitcher. Yes, I recommend this product

I really like this, I’ve never tried or used pour over coffee, not bad at all, in fact perfect for that quickie 1/2 cup or whatever size you want! I thought the flavor would be different, I like strong coffee and buy and grind my own. So, I am able to make this as strong as I want! Love it really. I am not a huge fan of the glass mug, they get super hot. But this fits over a couple other mugs I have, plus I can always use the glass to make and pour into my favorite non-glass mug. So not a big deal
