3 months after review. I purchased a few top quality, high priced coffee makers, this one meets the expectation and saves you a ton of money. The programming is easy to set, love waking up to the smell of a coffee aroma.
Damn it's used! Yuck
1 Year Update: Still making great coffee. No issues. All my questions were easily solved by reading the owner's manual. Overall it's been a great coffee maker and it's a nice that the manufacturer gives it a three year warranty. The only negative I can think of is staining on the heating plate but my family doesn't follow the same process I do for wiping everything down after use. If you use highly filtered water there's no need to use the charcoal filter. Original Review: Purchased for the design. Coffee tastes good. Use a #4 filter with a fine grind. Slightly more coarse geind and the metal filter works fine. I'll post back after a while.
I’ve already saved as much $$ on coffee as this thing costs. It’s easy to use, easy to clean, the pods are reasonably priced in my opinion. It revs up similar to a kurig but not too loud. 10/10 would buy again.
I've never put coffee or tea in this thing but it makes for great Vodka infusions, I added blueberries to the canister and vodka in the main part.
Bought this Keurig model June 8th 2024, by the end of August I had to contact Keurig because of an error on my machine that wouldn't resolve. Keurig warrantied my machine, and sent me a new one. The new one has been throwing out the same error code as the first one since a month after receiving it. I'm not even going to bother contacting them again only for them to offer to replace it with the same defective product. I shouldn't have to log into technician mode to clear codes and run tests on a coffee maker I paid over $300 for. I'll just take it as a loss and warn others of this model. Pros: Looks nice. Has a lot of options. Brews quickly when it works. Cons: Has an overpressure issue and breaks constantly. Screen sometimes gets pixely and distorted requiring a reset. Only goes up to 190° When brewing a 12oz serving, it gets stuck in a brewing screen and pushes out air for about a minute after the actual brewing stops. Drips REALLY bad. Imagine my surprise when I found slimy coffee in the DEEP drip tray. Custom images have to be a certain pixel size, so uploading your own image is a pain in the toosh.
I used this once on August 2020 for my son’s communion. I was planning to use it today and I noticed the “hole” is all rusted. That makes no sense, a product that you can use just once.
I would like to start with this is my third coffee maker in less than 6 months. However, this one I really hopes can last longer because I really love it. When I first set up the system I was concerned because the bottom is plastic and didn't have a heating plate. Upon further inspection, I realized that it does not need a hot plate because the croft is thermal and keeps the coffee warm for you. The process of filling the tank was different. Leave the machine off and unplugged. You have to pour water into the coffee maker 2 or 3 times spacing out 4 minutes till the pot has water in the croft. So to make sure I am explaining myself correctly is that you pour a coffee pot worth of water into the machine. Place the coffee pot in its slot and close the lid where you pour the water into the machine. If you close that lid then you are going to allow the coffee or water to start flowing and can make a mess. Then after 4 minutes have passed get the pot to rinse it out and refill for round 2. I kept this process up until I had a full croft. The reason you do this is to fill the water tanks. When the tanks are filled plug in the coffee maker and turn on the machine. You have to wait 15 min for the water to warm up. When the water is hot and ready to use and fill the croft to your desired amount. Remember when you finish pouring cold water in do not close the lid because it will start brewing hot coffee. FYI, the cold water goes to the bottom of the tank and pushes out the hot water because heat rises. Oh and use the 4inch tall filters because otherwise, you are going to have grains of coffee a be unsatisfied with the coffee. maker. I was so excited when the morning came and I was making my first cup of coffee with my new mug :). The coffee began to pour and I was so excited because my cousin said Bunn is the best and I believe him! Watching the coffee drip was exciting for me because I am so picky about my coffee. I will drink it but I like my coffee hot and do not have that burnt taste of the coffee. I am watching and waiting for the last drop to drop so I can taste the coffee plus I had been without a coffee maker for over a week. I couldn't wait for that first cup of coffee to test. I poured into my cute mug and it didn't splash and it poured smoothly. So far so good. I sat down and had to wait a few minutes for my coffee to cool off. The wait for the coffee was worth it. I love coffee and I have not had a decent cup in a very long time. The coffee was rich and tasted so good I should have listened to my cousin years ago but I am stubborn. The second cup is just as good. The coffee didn't taste burnt and I was so happy. The reason it didn't taste burnt is that the croft is basically a thermos and that is how the coffee stays hot. I accidentally forgot to clean out the pot until the next day and I was so impressed that the coffee was still a bit warm. For me, I was impressed with the length of time the croft keeps the coffee warm. I have also never spent so much money on a coffee maker but I did and I am so grateful I did because the coffee is perfect and the coffee doesn't taste burnt after 30 min. I cannot express how good the coffee is and how well it keeps the coffee hot. This is the best coffee maker I have ever had and I cannot brag about it enough. I have only got to use it twice and omg I think I am spoiled. It is worth the money of not having burnt coffee. So yummy! Remember tall filters or you will have issues. It comes with some.
This is a nice cold brew filter bottle. The glass is thick so I don’t think it would be easy to break. The rest is plastic and the plastic parts are a little cheap looking but it does a good job making cold brew coffee. I got it to take the work so I can hand cold brew there. I wasn’t careful when I made it the first time so I got grounds in it. The instructions are a bit confusing on if you take the filter out after the 8 hour brew. I took it out. And you can either take the lid off and pour or twist the lid and pour so that’s a neat feature. And it’s nice that it comes with a cup.
Seems to be an issue with the seal on the coffee maker where the reservoir joins the machine. I can fill the reservoir & leave it on the counter (even overnight) & it won't leak. But when I place it on the machine to make coffee water starts coming out the bottom. Mr. Coffee's response was a form letter about cleaning the coffee maker & checking a hose connection. There is no hose visible on this machine. I believe the seal on the machine where the water tank sits (shown in second photos) is malformed. I will try contacting the company again
I can’t really complain much about this product, it’s not so bad minus some complains. Two main complains that keep happening here and there, and one is something that can’t be controlled. My first complain is Battery Life, i use it to heat up the water at a full charge you can only use it twice. Battery goes from full 4 lights to 2 lights or half of the battery. I don’t see the 3-4 uses like it mentions in some reviews, it also has to be plugged in a 1 Amp charger so it takes its time to charge. My other complain is that sometimes when it dispenses the coffee it will stop dispensing but it still sounds like it wants to dispense some more, but nothing comes out. When this happens I have to take the part where it attaches to the cup lift the coffee reservoir out and put it back then press the dispense bottom again and that would do it. If this issues wouldn’t occur this will be a five star item.
I love this Keurig. I’m not one that drinks a lot of coffee but I wanted something I didn’t have to add water to every time I used it. The water capacity last about a week depending on how many cups drank. I love the black and the fact that it is very light weight. The machine was worth every penny. It is quiet, efficient and the coffee taste great.
very good, I loved it a lot, I recommend it 10/10
It got broken in the 8th use! Got spilled coffee which exploded all over my kitchen and got into my ears and my eyes, itching and infflaming my eyes!!! I don't know what to do now! Very disappointed. Plus - If the company manage to build a pressure guage or something like that, it would be very helpful. And - the tamper is not at the same diameter as the filter basket, that need improvement.
A decent alternative to Keurig at a lower price, but don't expect bells and whistles. This is a basic machine but it gets the job done.
