We’ve had this for several months now, and it continues to perform flawlessly. It’s a pleasure to operate, with the ease of loading a new capsule, the smooth-swinging arm that charges the capsule, the auto-detection of the cappuccino attachment, and one-button operation all combining for an outstanding user experience. Dumping the waste capsule catcher is a breeze, and it’s inclusion means you don’t have to get annoyed by someone having left a capsule in the machine that you have to extract before you can use it - The previous capsule is pushed out of the way as you load the new one. It’s very solid and weighty, and it doesn’t make a great deal of noise, even sitting on a hollow cabinet. I wouldn’t call it quiet, but it’s definitely quieter than the burr grinder I have for fresh beans. The coffee capsules are very affordable, and the coffee is outstanding (it comes in a variety of flavors and intensities, and I’m still working my way through all of the alternatives.) And making cappuccino at home is just plain fun. 🙂 If you really enjoy coffee, and don’t want to spend the vast sums apparently needed for a dedicated cappuccino machine, this is an excellent alternative.
I’ve used the Chemex coffee maker a couple times now, so far so good. Pretty neat design and no issues using their square (natural) coffee filters. Review would be 5 stars if the collar didn’t come with green marks on it. The coffee maker works and I’m going to try to remove the green marks myself so I don’t have to deal with a return, just annoyed that I have to remove marks on something that is brand new.
The reason I chose this coffee machine was that it was the only coffee machine I found online which has a completely stainless steel cooking pot. This was my first purchase from Arzum USA. I loved my new coffee machine and I used it everyday for making my Turkish coffee and hot chocolate for kids. After 3 months, there was a problem with the button of the device and I could not operate the coffee machine. I sent a note to the contact address I found on coffeemakers.us.com. They got back to me within 24 hours. Their communication language was extremely kind and helpful. And they sent me a new coffee machine without even questioning the problem. I recommend anyone looking for a Turkish coffee machine in America to choose Arzum. Electronics may break, but it is very important to find a company which stands behind its products.
Bottom line: this is a phenomenal cold brew maker - IF you have time to filter. Pros: durable, simple, makes delicious cold brew, easy to clean, affordable Cons: when using pre-ground coffee, there is a ton of sediment, which takes time to filter out Worth it? Absolutely! I ordered this bad boy and couldn't wait to use it once it arrived. Easy: open, clean, fill the filter with grounds to the top line level on the jar (will leave a few inches on top - picture included). Then pour cold, filtered water slowly over the grounds, up just past the top line on the jar so all the grounds are submerged. I stirred the grounds for about 5 minutes. Seal the jar with lid. I did this at 4pm, and let the jar sit out until I went to bed, which was around midnight. Then I stuck it on the fridge. At 9am the next morning, I stirred the grounds once more, then dumped them. Cleaning the filter was a breeze with a soft baby bottle brush. I then went through the painful process of filtering out the sediment. A lot of people won't do this because it is time-consuming and you do lose a little bit of coffee. But honestly, losing a bit of coffee is worth having clean, filtered coffee in my mind. I transferred the cold brew to a bowl, where I mixed it with a simple syrup I had just made. Then I rinsed out the jar and began filtering. I used a pour-over with a coffee filter to strain all of the sediment out. It took about 20 minutes and required multiple coffee filters, but was 100% WORTH IT. The end result was a delicious, balanced, robust and CLEAN cold brew that I immediately poured over ice and added cream to. Wow all around. Everything about this system is great, but the tedious process of filtering again means minus 1 star. I had found another cold brew system with a second filter and do wish I had gone with that one. Regardless, this is a fantastic option if you're either 1) open to sediment; 2) grind your own beans and use a more coarse ground; or 3) have time to filter. Pictures included - paper towel roll for size reference. Stir spoon and filtering process included.
Barely tapped the sinks water faucet and it broke.
This product is great; however, the "vintage red" color is more of a burgundy that doesn't match other "vintage red" kitchen accessories like our Kitchen Aide mixer or ice maker. In terms of usability it is similar to the original Kuerig, just really suped up. You can make both larger and smaller cups of hot beverages compared to the original Kuerig which is a big bonus for us because we have oversized cups that weren't quite filled when we used our original Kuerig. Buyer beware the color matching, probably best to go with black unless you're able to color match
Works very well. I bought a permanent filter but for ease of cleaning i wet and squeeze out a paper towel. Fit it inside filter and add coffee to that. When done life out towel and toss. Rinse filter. No hassle with grounds. Also don’t spend money unless you want to buy a lid. A small glass mixing bowl works fine see pic.
The box was damaged pretty bad upon receiving the machine but when I opened it, the machine looked new. It stays in an RV so it wasn’t used for a while. When I went to use it for the first time, the buttons to select how many cups doesn’t work.
I'm no cold brew connoisseur, but I do drink a lot of it! I was tired of paying outrageous prices for cold coffee with a bit of whip in it so I decided to hunt down my own cold brew maker! This reminded me of my boyfriend's French press only on steroids. I immediately got it out of the box, washed it, added my favorite coffee and cold water. I put this bad boy in the fridge to watch the magic happen. After about 18 hours I figured it was good to go. I used the press top and it filtered the coffee grounds to the bottom. When I poured there was no coffee grind floaties! The flavor was strong, bold and smooth with none of the bitterness. Delicious! I added some chocolate whipped foam and it was perfect! Spent $17 and saved myself $200! I'd say that's a win win! 🏆
Had a 10 cup standard coffee maker and while it still works I found that it was difficult to clean and I was making more coffee than I drank most of the time. Love this coffee maker as it makes just what I need. It has a small foot print and no pot to clean. Love that you can use k-cups or just normal coffee grinds. Obviously would not be ideal for those looking to make a large amount at once. I’m certain I’ll be using this one more than the old one if I even keep the old one.
I've had every invention known to man on my quest for the perfect cup of coffee and well, I've found it. GOLD! I struck gold with this bad boy. My last toy was the Keurig, my least favorite of them all, its failed me miserably. When I say I've had every coffee making contraption out there, I mean it, and you diehard coffee connoisseurs know what I'm talking about. I decided to go back to far, far away and get another percolator because after searching my life through in memoryville I believed that the best cup of coffee I had produced came from a percolator. But this time, I wasn't willing to toss money to the wind and go with my gut. I decided to do something I hadn't ever done before. Research. After reading, my least favorite thing to do in life, a million different reviews and watching I don't even know how many videos on the art of coffee making and consumption, I started really feeling the French press. Again unwilling to just buy without going to the next level still again and researching the best presses money could buy you, and there are a LOT of choices and a LOT of opinions, after many hours of sweating and reading and considering and fear of making a wrong decision, I decided to give this stainless steel French press a try. For several reasons I chose the stainless steel over glass. This puppy is insulated, first. It's solid, tough and heavy; very well made. Second. It won't break, Third. It won't break, fourth and it won't break, fifth! After all of my video tutelage I was nearly an expert before this little 8th wonder of the world arrived yesterday. I got right on it. I took apart the press and thoroughly washed all of the parts and put on a pan of water and began grinding my beans. As soon as the water came to a boil I let it cool down until it stopped bubbling. I scooped three rounded tablespoons of my medium course grounds into the press, pored in about two inches of water over the grounds and stirred. Then, I let it sit for two minutes to brew. Then I poured the rest of my hot water I in the press and put the lid on slightly pushing the press down just in order to create a seal, and then, I waited. I put my timer on for 5 minutes. Then I began the decent.... Pressing gently so as not to force the hot water come splashing out and scalding me. It took maybe 30 seconds. Then, the final step of my journey was upon me. I poured and tasted the best cup of coffee I've ever had in my life. It's unbelievable. I can't say enough good about the experience and this stainless steel French press. I'm telling you tho, at this price which is pennies really, and with the construction of this press, it's the best thing since chocolate was found. I think of all of the money I've wasted on coffer making contraptions over the years and it makes me dizzy. A person spends more on coffee at a drive through in a day than this press costs. And, this coffees flavor and aroma is unmatched by any of them on their best day. You have nothing to lose and the best cup of coffee you've had in your life to gain!
I can’t believe how much we all love this machine. Amazingly delicious cappuccinos for me, and iced coffee with cold foam for my teens. Love, love, love!
We have two of these coffee makers. Love the design of it too. Makes great coffee and easy to clean.
This is my honest review on this coffee maker, I love coffee and need it every day, we finally bit the bullet and bought this Keurig after our old coffee maker started making coffee taste bitter. It was also on sale at Target. What an amazing purchase! My kids love they can make a cup of hot cocoa instantly, and my husband has stopped buying his morning cup of coffee out, so its been saving us a little money along the way. Since we got it on sale we also bought the reusable Keurig k cup so we can also continue to use our favorite coffee if the mood strikes. All in all this was a great purchase and we are very happy. It gets used multiple times every single day! Thanks,Keurig, for the free pods for this review.
This coffee maker is great quality AND looks nice. Easy to use and has great flavor. I am a coffee addict and have used my fair share of contraptions. No complaints here!
