  • I had this in my cart for a while and finally decided to get it for prime day, so glad I did! It is a bit smaller than expected but still works great! I really wanted to reduce the amount of waste we were creating with our keurig and this definitely did the trick. I absolutely love the reusable filter, I had zero coffee grounds in my coffee. This will probably produce about 3 regular size cups of coffee, the one I have pictured is my largest cup (about 16oz). It did not come with instructions but it is pretty straight forward. The glass is thick and I'm not worried about breaking it! I poured boiling hot water over the grounds and no problems at all. My favorite feature is the adorable spout, this is the only pour over coffee maker I could find with this feature! The flavor of the coffee is also great, definitely preferred over my keurig pods. Overall very satisfied!

Edit: I'm lowering my rating to two stars. While the coffeemaker does indeed make great coffee, the carafe is horribly brittle. A small tap on the kitchen counter and it broke. To add to the frustration, it's nearly impossible to find a replacement. After hunting through Braun's site I did find one but it's day three and it still hasn't shipped. Their customer service is non-existent. Phone hold times are forever and emails appear to be answered by bots instead of humans. I make a pot of coffee every morning. I prepare it the day before and the timer takes care of the rest. Taste of course is going to depend on your coffee of choice—for me that means Dunkin. But one thing that I think any coffee lover is going to be looking for is HOT coffee and this unit takes care of that very nicely. A couple of things that would be nice would be an audible alert when the coffee is done and a window on the side to see the water level. I'm tall enough for that not to matter but for those vertically challenged, it might be an issue. I have no regrets buying this.

  • I’ve had the Special Edition B60 for 13 years and have had to beat it to death to get it to work. My entire family drinks like 5-8 cups of coffee a day EACH and is entirely coffee-centric (for better or worse), so the daily beatings (2-4 single cups a day EACH) we’re getting annoying. We had a regular coffee pot, too, which brewed a steady 10 cups daily in addition to our Keurig addiction, and they both took up WAY too much counter space. I bought the duo to replace BOTH our coffee pots and to alleviate us having to smack the water reservoir to kick into action, and presented it to my (live-in) father-in-law for Christmas (video). He’s nearly 82 and is a man of few words. His absolute RAPTURE on watching that cup brew is priceless. He brewed three cups tonight and said it was the best cup ever. He shared with his ex-wife in after dinner bliss. I’m sure the absence of 13 years of built up calcium from the old machine not being present made a profound difference. WHAT A GREAT PRESENT for a man who has become so jaded that coffee is his only pleasure. Thanks, Keurig. Not sure how long this will last or if it will outlast “Grandpa,” but I’m supremely happy with the result. A great buy.

  • It’s great! Beautiful color, much more salmon/pink toned than in the photo though, but that’s okay because I like it better! I didn’t even notice the slight woodgrain pattern to the handle which makes it all the more fancy! The lid on the coffee pot itself is annoying to clean which is what gives it the lower rating. It has a long tube so you need a straw cleaner to properly clean inside. Other than that, I love it! Also be sure to note, the coffee pot increments are 5oz!!! Not a 6oz or 8oz cup of coffee.

I was skeptic about cold brew coffee but first time I tried it I fell in love with cold brew... so pure taste of fresh coffee. I think this is the best set at a market, I really appreciate the silicon cap on the filter, so convenient.

  • Hot plate finish continues to corrode. I’ve never had the heat element on since I pour directly into a separate carafe. Drips wiped off daily with a damp paper towel. For the price, I’m disappointed.

  • Love it… but a bit disappointed that the retro sticker is coming off. It was like this when I pulled it out of the box.

  • Excellent glass jar, Wide mouth for easy clean, Glass is sturdy and can hold 6 cups, good size for the day cold brew coffee Filter mesh does a better result coffee and mesh have extra seal that make this jar as non spill proof jar. Easy to make, just pour the coffee in the filter, add water, let it sit in the refrigerator for 12 hours, great coffee taste. Good deal on the price for the quality of the jar.

Absolutely love this coffee maker! There is a noticeable difference in the quality of this coffee and a standard drip maker or a Keurig, even when using just our everyday coffee (we like Community Coffee dark roast). There are just two of us in the house and it's nice to be able to make a small pot in the morning (enough for us to both have two cups) and I love that it's easy to make an excellent single cup that is so much better than a Keurig. I have also used it for hot tea (I did adjust for their recommended amount the second time) and I'm looking forward to making cold brew next Summer. 1 thing I will note is that the buttons around the dial are extremely sensitive and it's easy to accidentally touch one while you are adjusting time or brew settings. I read another review talking about setting a delay brew and that's what came to mind is that it would be very easy to hit descale accidentally. I would recommend setting the delay time before putting the grounds in. (I have ours start the same time every morning so once the time is set you just have to hit delay brew, it remembers the time).

After just 2 months of having the coffee maker it leaks water when it makes the coffee. I wish they did 90 day returns 😢. We may have left it on for a while after the coffee was made a few times, but I did not think that would break it? We left are old coffee maker on always and it was fine for years 🤷‍♂️

  • So easy and fast to brew one cup of coffee or a lot... has so many nice features like pot warmer on the bottom of pot and a timer for morning coffee etc. really like this coffee maker

I followed the directions, but the bottom part developed lots of spider web cracks and it leaked all over.

This replaced another small Mr Coffee I purchased a few years ago, that finally died. What I specifically liked about the last one was the size, 5 cups, and the delay brew feature, for a reasonable price. I scored the last one on a Black Friday deal, only $20. This one seems decent, but I'm less a fan of the side hinge top and the water spout inside swinging forward and back. The previous design, with the water attached to the lid was far better. It will do for now, but I wish my previous one hadn't broken. UPDATE: I am far less a fan of this machine. The last version could use larger filters 8-12 cup style even though it was a 5 cup machine, so it was easy to find the unbleached natural style. The cup in this is tiny and really needs 5 cup specific filters but they are difficult to find if you want them unbleached, even on coffeemakers.us.com. The machine comes with a reusable cup and silly water filter, which will never really dry if used daily. These two are horrible, and any time I make 5 cups of coffee the grounds flow over the edges. (Note: I added a bit of spice to my coffee when making the brew in the picture which is why the grounds look like brown and weird). Anyway, the side hinge too is really undesirable. I am now actively looking to replace this machine. It is very disappointing.

  • I love this size! but it is only good for tea, it is small for coffee. But! return! The glass cracked immediately upon first use.

The hot water running through the metal arm warped and eventually cracked the plastic reservoir, which began leaking. I contacted Moccamaster support about the issue and was told to ship it back AND pay $99 for them to install a new reservoir. A $329 coffee maker should last longer than a $15 model from a big box store, but this one doesn’t.
